There is a reading level (children's through adults) and genre for every kind of reader here! Very cute, very simply decorated, but with some pops of personality, and I just love supporting an indie bookstore! I snagged a new book from a Michigan-based author (now also a NYT Bestseller) that I hadn't known had already come out and was tempted by so many more books! Especially, when you consider the items were most likely donated and therefore any money received is absolute profit. The bigger issue is the incredibly sour behavior of the woman behind the counter. Very snotty. Shockingly rude and abrupt. I asked if the $50 marked on a low end telescope - missing all the lenses was the best they could do. I was very glad to randomly come across Leftovertures during a trip through the U.P. This is a…read morespecial type of store. I found WAY more than I expected to buy when I first walked in, and the owner, Gene, was super friendly, helpful, and fun to joke around with. I only WISH this place was closer to where I live, because I would become a regular. I can't speak about the full offerings, because I only looked through the jazz section, but I know that I didn't expect much, but was blown away by the amazing selection and the care that Gene put into the store. All of the records were in really excellent condition. I'm listening through my gigantic stack right now, and I"m about 7 records in and have only had a couple skips, other than that, it's been great. Gene also gave me an amazingly great deal, too (of course, i bought a lot of records... ). Really, this is a place well worth stopping for, especially if you're a vinyl nerd.

I had to return some shoes I had bought here, for returns you have a week, and just get store credit. My mother got an awesome floor length teal puffer coat with faux fur collar. 10$. I got a few things too, two pairs of mittens (priciest thing I bought but, homemade and a fundraiser for their church youth group.) I also got some leg warmers, cause why not.
