They had a really nice spread laid out including lamb chops, crab balls, beef meatballs and assorted salads and such. Those meatballs on toothpicks were really good too (definitely not the frozen ones you generally see in such spaces). The food was particularly well done - you could even taste the mint in the lamb. I've been here a couple few times over the years and I enjoyed coming here last night. I had a sampling of a bourbon and did a red wine which both were nicely done. (dude gave me an extra helping of the red wine) We smoked cigars out on the balcony deck and chopped it up for a bit. All in all it was a good night. Highly recommend this place for convenience, for sure.

The Iwo Jima Memorial is directly opposite the Top of the Town building. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the Potomac River and have views of all the significant buildings in Washington, DC. The inside is spacious - we had 92 guests seated at ten tables, and there was plenty of space for the dance floor, drinks table, and dessert table. We also took advantage of the outside patio because we had great weather, and after sunset, many of us went outside to watch the full moon rise. Catering was provided by Genesis Delight Catering, a company that has experience serving food at TotT and knows the kitchens. The event staff at the TotT are experienced and friendly and will ensure that your event is the best it can be. We enthusiastically recommend this event space. Sheridan Dalier, the event coordinator at TotT, provided generous assistance before our event when we were in the planning stages. She was friendly, experienced, and very helpful. When we learned we could hire Sheridan to help us during our party to take care of the final set-up, last-minute fixes, and any surprises, we gave an enthusiastic "Yes, please." For example, she ensured the audio-visual system had the correct cord to show our slides. She kept track of the gifts we received. She handled questions and requests from our guests. There is ample parking, spacious rooms, and a great location to host any event. Please checkout the book "I Forgive You" ... it can change your perspective on human interconnectedness and interpersonal relationships! If someone wronged you and is shutting you out as punishment, this is their internal traumas showing in physical form... if communication isn't an option just forgive them. About a day before I received information regarding mobile key access. I downloaded the app and was given a code to access my reservation. I checked in the morning of via the app and was advised they would let me know when my room was ready. Surprisingly, it was ready before 11am. I chose to drive instead of taking the metro.The directions provided took me directly to their garage. I parked on the sixth floor and used my mobile key to access the hotel door and elevators. I selected my floor and it assigned me an elevator that took me directly to the 15th floor. I had a King Junior suite. It was clean, spacious, modern, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely view of the Perch. The Watermark had many highlights. The first was the Perch. It offers swings, live music, food trucks, putt putt, a dog park, and a restaurant that you could get to from the 11th floor. It's family friendly and an overall beautiful space. Another highlight, is that Capital One Hall is literally around the corner and less than a 4 minute walk. It's a great location if you're attending a show which I was. Lastly, is breakfast is included. They offered Belgian waffles, grits, chicken and pork sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, hot cereal, cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, coffee and tea. I consider that a pretty good selection. The customer service was good. The staff that I encountered were very polite and professional. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to couples, families, or solo travelers. Things to note: parking is $25, check in is 4PM, check out is 12 PM, breakfast on the weekend is from 7-11 and weekdays 6-10.

Walking in on the first floor, you have to select the floor on a screen and then the screen tells you which elevator to go to for that floor and even give you an arrow pointing you in the right direction. So you never actually push any buttons inside the elevator. I thought this was neat. Breakfast is included on the 11th floor I believe. It's an upscale continental breakfast, but the best continental breakfast I've probably ever had. Potatoes, two kinds of eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, fruit, coffee, juice etc. Not a bad breakfast! The lobby was also vast and beautiful - I didn't get to explore as much as I would have liked! So the room was fantastic! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves but there was a mini couch, chair and desk, nice queen sized bed kitchenette area and decent bathroom with the room overlooking the courtyard with food trucks and mini golf course. Unfortunately I don't think any outdoor activities were open due to time of year/weather but still a nice view! It's connected to a grocery store - Wegmans and also close to the metro and a nice coffee shop around the corner. Definitely a nice stay for work or leisure!

As someone who's been to level 99 twice, I feel like I understand how it is that you have to…read morenavigate it. 2 hours gets you enough time to like dip your toes in many of the rooms, but I'd recommend maybe the 4 hour or full day to try every room ( if that's what you want to do). Level 99 isn't good at telling you what to do, so make sure for each room that you click on the hints so you have a better understanding of what it is you should be doing. Sometimes you may need to do a room multiple times to actually understand the objective, which is why like the 4 hour worked for my 2nd time because I was able to either have a semblance from the first time or know to check the hints. Perfect group for a room is like about 4 people so everyone can do something and contribute. I love love love the different kinds of rooms from more physical based challenges like trying to climb a horizontal rock wall and hit buttons to communication ones like directing someone to move a ball through a maze to silly ones like using the walls to spin the floor to match colors, and so many more (building the highest tower, using massive chopsticks to grab balls, etc.) Def would love to come back

First and most importantly: the moment that bracelet goes on, the clock is ticking! Once you're inside, food and drinks probably shouldn't be your priority. We went on a Saturday night, and our food took a while, so if you want to eat beforehand, I'd recommend stopping at Victory Bar first. That way you can actually enjoy your meal without feeling like you're racing the clock. Another thing that surprised me was that the game rooms didn't really have clear explanations of how to play. You basically walk in and have to figure it out as you go. Some games were pretty intuitive, but others definitely had us standing there like, "Okay...what are we supposed to do?" A little more instruction would go a long way, especially for first-time visitors. And let me give you one BIG warning: YOU WILL SWEAT. A LOT. I brought a mini fan thinking I was prepared, and I was still an absolute mess by the end. The games are much more physical than you might expect, so dress accordingly and prepare to get your workout in. Despite those things, we genuinely had fun. There's definitely room for improvement, especially when it comes to instructions and the overall timing/food situation, but I still had a great time and would absolutely return. Just learn from my first-timer mistakes, eat beforehand, wear something comfortable, and bring a fan!

We enjoy our time visiting Wolf Trap. We recently moved to DC from LA where we lived within walking…read moredistance to the famed Hollywood Bowl. This is the closest thing to it in the DC area. While not quite as glamorous as the Hollywood Bowl, we appreciate that this venue exists. We laugh that there is a mostly outdoor concert venue when DC summers are notoriously humid and filled with heavy-hitting thunderstorms. There was one concert where there was a shelter-in-place order, prior to the concert. We decided to risk it and luckily the storm passed. I will say, the DC crowd is much hardier than LA. If there was even a rain drop in the forecast, nobody would show up in SoCal. But in DC, people will ride the storm. On our previous visit, it was a full-on downpour nobody abandoned their spots. I was impressed and at the same time, disappointed since I wanted a better spot in the field! There are covered seats, which is probably the safer bet. But we love the lawn seating for its laid back vibe and picnic atmosphere. Even with the rain, we'll be back!
