As far as I know, this is the closest gas station automated car wash to the Falls Church area. It isn't cheap at I think around $15 depending on the options you select but it does a pretty decent job when you don't feel like washing your car or taking the time for a full service car wash. read more

When in need of gas in McLean, this place is easier to pull in and out of than its competitors, which is its key advantage. The 7-11 is also a bit cleaner inside than the other two in town, but it's still an enigma how McLean can support three 7-11s. Fair warning: the gas pumps here seem to randomly go out-of-order, so read the displays carefully before turning off your engine and committing. The pumps are also painfully slow -- it takes forever to fill even a small tank... I suspect the flow is set low to maximize your exposure to advertisements. read more

Wash was cheap but ineffective. Bought the most expensive wash but the wheels are still dusty, windshield is full of bug splats still, etc. A surprising and unexpected result, but definitely won't be back. read more

Anyone who's ever been on a road trip is well aware of the perils contained within the dingy, worn out ubiquitous roadside gas station. The kind of place you patronize as a last resort, passing the shelves of dusty sundries on your way to relieve yourself in a bathroom only Britney Spears would dare tread on barefoot. Luckily, this McLean On The Run isn't at all like that. It's fresh and bright, with selection galore. The stock's so new you might end up finding a candy you've never tasted before. Chocolate Skittles anyone? On the highway of life, there are a lot of sub par convenience stores and gas stations with malodorous smelling bathrooms attached. Their car wash is pretty wimpy. Not quite as bad as the Shell station across the street, but certainly not worth the $7 and up for washes. Doesn't get much off your car, and the dryer is so weak that you will still need to wipe your car down, so bring microfiber towels. read more

At least three pumps out of order, trash cans overflowing, pooling water from rain mixed with spilt gas in front of one working pump, car wash drive forward/stop/back up is not working right, and finally car wash isn't really washing well. I drew a happy face on the side of my car in dirt it didn't wash off. I need to wash my car again because this car wash isn't working right. They should just close it down until it is repaired!!!! read more

Absolutely filthy restroom. Really disappointed in these guys--only one staff there/-maybe hire one more person to keep the place clean. Also, I've been solicited by panhandlers there at least twice in the past couple of days. read more

I like this place because they have a 7-11 inside of it. However I am not sure why since there is 2 7-11's within walking distance of this gas station. Inside the cashiers are very nice and have a huge assortments of snacks and convenient store items. The gas station is good although the doors close and can make you claustrophobic! read more

I'd like to write about the garage that is attached to this place. The garage is solid, the guys are honest, and it doesn't seem like they try to rake you dry of cash. The person who works on your car is attentive to details, and calls you before making any purchase decisions. My guy was honest with me even about other places/situations in which I would be able to fix my AC for cheaper than he would be able to do. In addition to that, they make dropping off and picking up your car very easy. They have the forms ready, and you can put your car anywhere in the lot, they take care of it for drop off. For pick up, the garage does not have to be open. Because they are linked up with the gas station, you can pick up your keys and pay anytime you the gas station is open, which is all regular hours of the day. However, if you need the explanation about the charges, you'll need to speak with your garage attendant. read more

Best gas station ever!! For the most part WaWa wins in the gas station department because I really like their soups/deli and their more unique selections. But if I had to list best gas station places of all time, this would still edge out all the WaWa's. First, the DONUTS! They have a Boston Cream donut that has the best filling ever and it is packed to the brim with the filling and it is the most amazing donut in existence. And I have yet to find a Boston Creme donut anywhere as fantastic as the one here. How disappointing it is for me when I go to 7-11, excitedly purchase a Boston Creme and stuff it in my face only to find that the filling is not the same or they majorly skimped on it. I wish more places carried the exact same bursting Boston Cremes as this Exxon did. These donuts are HEAVEN. Coffee Bar: their coffee bar is like most 7-11 coffee bars, cheap and with lots of different varieties to choose from. They have cinnamon too which puts it over WaWa's coffee bar. For some reason, WaWa's never have cinnamon at the coffee bar to sprinkle on. That is a major bummer. This place also has a large selection of candy, much larger than some of the other convenience stores in the area, trashy CDs and Redskins stuff. They still have Nerds ropes which seem to be disappearing from convenience stores everywhere! There is also a car wash here that is pretty efficient and there is a large pumping area so I have never had to wait to fill up. I'm not sure what more to say about this place. They just keep luring me back there with their Boston Creams and their coffee bar and their candy. Irresistible. If you need gas, or even if you don't need gas and just want the joy of some amazing road food, this is THE place to stop! read more

During the summer of 2011, they finally repaired the car wash but the wash is $1-$2 more than the Shell station across the street (the Exxon has a wind blower while Shell doesn't). The gas station is run by the 7/11 store so you fill up, wash your car and get an icy on a hot day. read more

Standard gas station. Best thing about this place is the car wash. There are not many places in the area to just get a quick car wash. $8.00 bucks for the basic wash, which includes the dryer. Only downfall is just one car at a time...it is not continuous movement. If there are several people in front of you, you may want to come a different day or be prepared to wait over 30 mins to get through it. read more

With that said, this service station has the most amazing automatic, brushless carwash I have ever experienced. This place is convenient for anyone and everyone who works in or around Tysons Corner, VA. I typically go here every few weeks for a fill up and car wash. I actually buff my car once a year so I am one who cares how his car looks and I have found that this place (and two others in the area) is gentle on the paint while doing a thorough cleaning. The only catch is that I end up having to step out and dry it myself to avoid water spots and the final stuck-on grime. read more

The car wash is fine, but is not cheap. The gas station itself is pretty generously sized, so hopefully you don't have to worry about some yahoo in a F-150 turning a tight corner and running into your car. The quickie-mart is fairly large and clean. Overall, a fine experience for a gas station, though nothing so amazing which would merit more than 3 stars. read more

An elderly female co-worker went to this gas station with a tire losing air because there was a nail in it. Initially she was told that the charge was $50.00. She refused service. They then offered $35.00 and she accepted. Later we called the Exxon and asked how much it would cost to pull a nail and patch a tire. Their response was $20.00. read more

I have been using the Exxon station and car wash for ten years and never have I had problems until last year, Their car wash whose price was increased recently, was set incorrectly so that after starting with the front end of the car, it washed only the rear two thirds of the car and the soap fell only on the sides. Finally one of the movable water jets came down and hit the front of the car scratching the paint. Not all the sequence of agents were used as claimed. The manager inside claimed she saw my wash and said it washed well! I wonder who observed it better? I would not recommend the car wash here at all. read more
