When I booked…read morethrough the website, no pricing was provided, and I assumed we would discuss costs at the appointment, as well as the best options for the issue that I was going to have treated, which is standard for most physicians. However, by 7 PM the same evening, my appointment was canceled, and I received a notice stating that because I had not provided a credit card, the system automatically removed my booking. I did see an email requesting my card information after I scheduled, but it did not include pricing, details about the consult, or any indication of whether the service would actually be performed during Saturday's visit, or whether the first appointment was simply a consult to determine a treatment plan. Without that information, I didn't feel comfortable submitting payment in advance. My plan was to call the office the next day to clarify the consult, the cost, and the reason a card was required. Instead, the appointment was canceled within just a couple of hours of being made. That level of rigidity feels unusual. In most medical settings, providing insurance or payment information simply needs to happen before the appointment--not immediately upon booking--and certainly not with automatic cancellation so quickly. Requesting a payment method upfront without offering any pricing or clarity about the service feels inappropriate and unreasonable. This treatment feels more like fast food, rather than a professional medical environment. I'm not ruling out rescheduling, but this experience leaves a poor impression, and I'm now considering other options.

This place "requires" you have other insurance billable procedures before they will perform…read moresclerotherapy. If you have a voucher for discounted services, they will likely find excuses to not honor it. Like several other reviewers, I needed simple sclerotherapy, which I've had performed before successfully at the dermatologist and a legitimate cosmetic medical center. The last treatment I had was two years ago and I had a few new ones (see attached pics) that I wanted treated for an upcoming beach trip this summer. I'm 115 lbs and 5'3. I do moderate exercise 4-6 times a week. As the pics show, my minor spider veins wouldn't have even taken them 15 minutes to treat. After a 10 second ultrasound, I was told they needed to reschedule me to have another appointment with the doctor so he could recommend the treatment plan moving forward and that they would not accept the discounted voucher I purchased for sclerotherapy. This after I drove for 30 minutes and 15 miles to this location. They are hoping that they can charge you for additional consultations and that you have insurance that will cover additional, more invasive treatments, which they require you have completed BEFORE they will accept you for sclerotherapy. I'm pretty sure that if I had paid their full price for sclerotherapy, they would have gladly performed it. Sadly, the site that I purchased the voucher from will not let me post a review there because the Virginia Vein Care refused to honor the voucher, so I can't even warn others. If I had known this info ahead of time, I would never have purchased that voucher or scheduled with this place. I should have visited Yelp to see the other reviews of this place from the people who had a similar experience to me. Lesson learned! I'll check Yelp from now on.

I would come in 15 minutes early and sit there for upwards of 45 minutes before going to a room and then sit in the room for another 30 minutes. Here - they must be scheduling wizards because on the three visits I have had, I was checked in, sat for about a minute (ok, maybe 5... maybe) and was then seen by the assistant and then within minutes the physician. An appointment that would have taken my close to two hours previously was like 20 minutes. I LOVE THAT. Not only that, everyone, from the front receptionist to Dr. Sobhani was courteous, attentive and helpful. Top-notch medical care, efficiently... isn't that what we all want?
