I took my truck there because the check engine light was. I gave him over $400 & brought it home. The light came back on when I turned in my driveway. I took it straight back to find the gate locked & no one answering his cell phone. I went back the next morning & he promised to check it out. When I got back, he claimed to had fixed it & it was only gonna cost me about $300. Well, this same scenario happened about 3-4 times in a row with me owing him $2-300 each time. The last time, I asked him if it had anything to do with the work he had already done. He swore that everything he had were totally separated issues & that my vehicle just needed maintenance. Well, that was the final straw!! I took my truck to Morris Automotive downtown. Within a couple of hours, he called me back & asked me if I had ever had my truck tuned up & had the spark plugs & coils changed. I told him that's what I had just had done. He informed me that none of my spark plugs had been changed recently. He also said that there were 2 used coils that had junk yard markings on them that you could get for about $20. Keep one mind that I had paid over a $100 each for 8 new ones. One of the new spark plugs was an original plug from when it was new which was also supposedly had been changed. This dude is a con man. 2 of my buddies that swore by him, that recommended him to me have since had similar issues. I wouldn't let this guy work on my kid's little red wagon!! BEWARE!! All because he said my maxima has spacers on rims. Total rip off because dealer ship quoted $6,000 for new transmission and I've spent that with this shop on used transmission. Total waste of money. Be careful because I think the transmission is not being replaced just fixed old bad transmission. Each time I took to Nissan dealership and it was in fact all three times another bad transmission each three times!!! Note: Joe said I had warranty but still car isn't working because he says the spacers on rims void warranty but those same spacers was on car when he first got the first transmission!!
