    I recently had my car towed to Lumberton Kia for service and had a call from a man from the service…read moredepartment to inform me that they had received my car and when it was scheduled to be put in diagnostic. Willie is the caller and I was pleasantly surprised by the way he talked to me and explained the procedure and how I will be kept informed of findings and cost, if any,before any needed repairs. I have always been apprehensive about having any kind of car repairs from people I don't know because of hearing that often women get taken advantage of, especially older women by repair people. Willie was very respectful and talk to me in layman terms so that I could understand. I informed him that my son may be contacting him about the car and Willie offered to contact him or be called if he had any question. I really appreciated his demeanor and reassurance that they will be able to find out what the problem with the car is and what is the repair needed to get it back on the road. I called my son and gave him the phone number as well as Willie's name as the contact person. I am very confident that my car is in good hands. Thank you Lumberton Kia and Willie in the service department for easing my mind that my car will be taken care of.

My fiance asked to speak to the lady that he had been corresponding with over the phone. At this point Maurice stated to "calm down" as if we were being hostile. We sat down and we were told the the honda was already sold but he offered to show my fiance another car. My fiance stated he was only interested in a manual car. At this point the salesman seemed agitated and began to cut my fiance off everytime he spoke. And pretty much pushed us out the door without any regard. The way we were treated at this place was pretty piss poor and unacceptable. We will never step foot in there again and will advise everyone that's looking to purchase a car to look elsewhere.

    today i drove 30 miles on way to test drive a Honda civic w…read morethe test drive was good the problems started inside the car lobby i told them from the began i was a 1099 they said we just need to show us your paycheck so i drove the whole way home 30 miles then back 30 miles to get told we need to see the taxes withdraws on it i told you i am 1099 i do not get withholdings sorry is all they said they do not see the thing i have already drove 90 miles and even asked you if that was i needed was the check stub and said you sure yes he said are you sure yes when i got back they asked for alot more because i am a 1099 they were not easy and we did not get the civic because they running me home for more stuff i think and believe that you should ask upfront for everything instead of running me around

The night before, I booked some jobs on a loadboard, so Friday morning I pulled up to Lumberton Honda to deliver 1 vehicle & pickup 3 to transport. Delivering went smooth. I spoke with a ginger fella that was very nice & helpful. He told me 1 of the 3 cars were sold, so I'd only be taking 2, & his technician would bring me keys. I stood at the tower(desk) for less than 2 min waiting before a white haired guy came up & asked; "where are you taking these cars?" I stated: Fayetteville. Immediately he became very upset! He went off on a tangent raising his voice in frustration, saying, "Im not paying for that! I dont know why the system keeps doing this. At this moment im just standing there thinking he's joking & is going to cut the act & say SIKE! But he doesn't. As he's throwing this tantrum he grabs his cell phone & calls a personal rep w/ the company I booked the job from & goes: "Hey! One of your drivers is here trying to pickup the cars & take them to Fayetteville. Im not paying for that! Im not gonna pay for somebody to transport cars 20min up the street. I can do that myself!" Then he sets his phone down & looks up at me & rudely says: "yea you can leave, im not releasing those cars to you. You can go." In that moment I realized this was not a joke & this guy was actually serious & just out right rude as all get out! So I awkwardly say, oohhkay. & walk away. On my way back to the truck I called the dispatch company I booked the job from & told them what happened. The rep asked me who wanted to cancel the load & they needed their name to confirm. So i went back inside for that. Upon returning to the counter I said to the man: Excuse me sir, may I have your name? (When he responded he was basically yelling at me with a pompous irritated tone of voice/manner.) Him: MY NAME IS KENT & IM THE GENERAL MANAGER! Me: ok, & may I have the rep you spoke with? -HIS NAME IS ** Me: ok thank you. I turn my back & repeat the names to the rep im on the phone with. As im doing that Kent gets belligerent & starts yelling at me saying:YEA MY NAME IS KENT, IM THE GENERAL MANAGER & YOU CAN GO! YOU CAN JUST GET OUTTA HERE! I turn back towards the desk & say: Sir im going to leave, I just need to tell my rep who wanted to cancel the job so I can clear it on my end as well. He repeats himself stating he's Kent the general manger & that I needed to get out. At that moment his behavior began to upset me, because im literally here to simply do my job, yet this is how I get treated. So I say to the rep on the phone "do you hear how he is talking to me?" The rep says "yes, that guy is crazy. Why is he so angry?" I said "idk" & looked Kent dead in his eyes & said "do you have a problem with me? Him: YOU NEED TO GET OUT RIGHT NOW OR IM GOING TO CALL THE POLICE!! At this moment im in total shock & in total disbelief! I said in a soft, inquisitive tone: "call the police?" Him: YES IF YOU DONT GET OUTTA HERE IM GONNA CALL THE POLICE!! so I yelled CALL EM'! Then he yanks the phone receiver up & says IM GOING TO CALL THE COPS & IM CALLING YOUR BOSS! I shouted to him, IAM THE BOSS! & then left. I can not believe I experienced such rude behavior from a person who is supposed to represent the company as a whole & ought to have better customer service skills. Instead Kent Locklear is out here treating people like trash & thinking its ok to yell at someone for doing their job & threaten to call the police on folks for no apparent reason! To be honest his disgruntled attitude felt racially moved & its sickening just to think of it.
