I appreciated that although I wasn't sure what to expect but expensive repairs. Then recently I got an inspection since the other Black's Tire location was very busy (2-3 hr wait). They made a call and held my place at this location until I arrived. I was at this location for perhaps 30 mins or a little more while the inspection was made. Clean, spacious, and great-smelling restroom. Classic movies on tv with a view to Fayetteville Road. Service is attentive and knowledgeable staff.

Darrell Butler was the sales representative and he said of course there would be no issues doing that, and he would need our signatures and some information to allow them to do such. Things were taking way longer than expected and had to leave. Only thing I was told was everything looked good and he would know more when a "HARD PULL" was done when I came back. No info on vehicle prices, interest rates, etc. Upon getting in my vehicle Darrell Butler said he would keep our information on file so another credit didn't need to be run. In a hurry for an appointment, in up the road I realized what he said about pulling credit. Sure enough, we checked our credit reports and NOT ONLY were we LIED TO about "SOFT PULL" BUT there were TWO "HARD PULLS" DONE on both of us. Calling the dealership I spoke with Mr Taylor stating he was a manager. He stated retraining was needed for Mr Butler. If Mr Butler has truly been doing this almost 30 years, he does not need retraining. He needs to answer to the Lord FOR ALL HIS LIES. I requested to Mr Taylor that we were both requesting a reversal be made on both of our UNAUTHORIZED "HARD PULLS". Mr Taylor tried to tell me that such a thing is not possible. Willie is the caller and I was pleasantly surprised by the way he talked to me and explained the procedure and how I will be kept informed of findings and cost, if any,before any needed repairs. I have always been apprehensive about having any kind of car repairs from people I don't know because of hearing that often women get taken advantage of, especially older women by repair people. Willie was very respectful and talk to me in layman terms so that I could understand. I informed him that my son may be contacting him about the car and Willie offered to contact him or be called if he had any question. I really appreciated his demeanor and reassurance that they will be able to find out what the problem with the car is and what is the repair needed to get it back on the road. I called my son and gave him the phone number as well as Willie's name as the contact person. I am very confident that my car is in good hands. Thank you Lumberton Kia and Willie in the service department for easing my mind that my car will be taken care of.

My fiance asked to speak to the lady that he had been corresponding with over the phone. At this point Maurice stated to "calm down" as if we were being hostile. We sat down and we were told the the honda was already sold but he offered to show my fiance another car. My fiance stated he was only interested in a manual car. At this point the salesman seemed agitated and began to cut my fiance off everytime he spoke. And pretty much pushed us out the door without any regard. The way we were treated at this place was pretty piss poor and unacceptable. We will never step foot in there again and will advise everyone that's looking to purchase a car to look elsewhere.
