The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was dated and had a cleaning solution odor; however, it was clean. The key card required a bit of jiggling to get it to work. We didn't need to make use of the kitchenette but appreciated being able to make coffee in the morning. The breakfast was sufficient and we appreciated having it. we were going to cost me almost $1000 and they don't have TV in their rooms and they don't allow alcohol on the premises so that was a big turn off for me. No offense to the Glen Castle, but we like our glass of wine or whatever at night anyway this lovely hotel on Expedia. It was like I don't know how much it was the night, but it was fabulous. We got a full kitchen with a full refrigerator a dishwasher, a microwave a stove, top all the dishes you could imagine and room it's clean. The staff is wonderful. They were always so kind of us when we went down there and talk to them pretty much every night at like midnight because you know we had questions and we needed snacks. The breakfast was amazing the eggs with the cheese and the French toast, sticks and the bacon was cooked perfectly on Sunday, about 15 maybe 30 minutes from the airport and by the way if you're ever flying into Denver flying to Colorado Springs and drive because it is worth the drive and the airport was so lovely anyway I've already yelled the airport but whatever so yes I would definitely recommend this place. If we come back to Colorado Spring with Will we will stay here went to the cowboy museum twice, I missed the horses which was a bummer but that's OK and we went to a lovely concert at the Broadmoor Arena Cody Jinks love you. It was lovely just saying and we're getting our lottery done right now two dollars because all I have to do is buy the pod and the dryer sheets so anyway highly recommend no pool but workout room and lots of exercise if you need it because you have to go up and down there hallway and there's lots of hills but perfect. The parking lot is small and cramped behind an old strip mall. You are greeted at the door with a 10 foot granite slab with the ten commandments. The lobby is very small as is the breakfast area with only one table. Clean but very dated, the beds are OK but the pillows are mush There is a kitchenette in the room. I'm staying at Elegante Suites during COVID - and they are doing a great job. Staff is kind and considerate. They've made edits to the system to accommodate new guideline without infringing on the quality of the stay. I had intended to stay for two nights, but extended for a full week. Huge bathroom and full kitchen...the only minor issue is that there was only a queen bed and we needed a king...other than that we were happy. My girlfriend's and I planned a little Colorado Springs getaway weekend for Labor Day Lift Off this past weekend. After dragging our feet on booking our accommodations - we had run out of time and options in our price range. So we booked our stay at MCM Elegante Suites. -- Staff was unhelpful with request for additional pillows and a crib for the baby that was staying with us. In fact, they even had an attitude with us when we followed up the day after our check-in (as they instructed us to do). I understand the hotel was sold out, but that doesn't make it okay to be rude to your guests. -- Hotel could def use some updating! Carpeting in both the rooms and hallways felt like it was straight out of the seventies. Not to mention the luggage carts sounded like they were about to rattle apart. -- Not sure how I feel about the giant marble slab by the entrance with the Ten Commandments. As a rather nonreligious person, I found that a little overbearing. On a more positive note, I can say that the rooms were clean, they offer a free hot breakfast, and the cheaper pricing was nice (though it showed in both the attitudes of the staff and the amenities). Sorry MCM Elegante Suites. Our experience left a terrible taste in our mouths. I wouldn't recommend it or come back. read more

We had an extremely late check in after a long day of driving and a frustrating failed reservation interaction at a different hotel in the area. Josh at the front desk was accommodating and friendly and made it easy to get checked in with our service animals and pet. The property is older and the common areas very much need updating. Our room was ok but nothing special. It too needs new finishes. It was nice having a little kitchen however the cabinets were dingy. The full sized fridge was also a plus , though the ice maker was jammed and frozen solid with old ice so it couldn't be used. We considered ordering room service in the morning but found they don't serve breakfast. The prices were WAY too much anyway - I mean, $35 for a 20" pizza? No thanks. They do have breakfast included but we didn't check it out so I can't provide insight here. Also room rates don't align with the property and accommodation offering. Overpriced for sure. All in all, not a horrible stay, but also nothing to really look forward to. We might consider these accommodations again but would definitely shop around first. read more

We booked this hotel as the last stop of a road trip through several National and State Parks of the area, all previous hotels range from 2.5 to 3 stars (nothing fancy this time) and this one MCM Elegante was by far the worst of all. The hotel is wayyyyy outdated, the bed was horrible and unstable, the carpet looks ugly, and some weird costumer gave the impression of being in a low income condominium. On the positive note the breakfast was good, and people employees very nice, especially the lady arranging the breakfast. Very nice for the price. In a good part of town and close to I-25. For me having a full-size refrigerator in the room was fantastic. I even used the microwave. The TV was too small to watch from the bed but the office chair was comfortable enough to sit in. Nice exercise room with treadmills, etc. and a TV in there too. Bad review for MGM Elegante Ever since we started staying here the manager Trevor has been a dick and rude every interaction I have had with him. He is unprofessional and acts as if he is a five star hotel or a nice apartment and he was harassing us about paying to stay still Sunday when we are leaving and moving to another hotel. He is taking it overboard and every time I go to the front desk to ask for something it's drama he is unapproachable and makes me not want to stay here. He was petty and changed the keys because we called him out on being a jerk. We are homeless living out of a hotel. He was harassing us saying we have to go right this minute when we don't have anything packed. Shit is constantly broken or not working. Every time I go to the front desk to ask for towels or have an issue with maintenance , he is petty for no reason and rude and can't just simply give me towels have fixed what we need fixed. We no longer wish to stay here and are trying to move to a better nicer hotel. He complained about me walking around boasting saying how high I was but he allows sex trafficking to occur in his hotel and allows random man to harass women and solicit sex for money. I apologize for what I said and how I acted and I have not done anything else since then I already have a hard time being the only one working and he is demanding this money that we don't have. Don't stay here folks there is a illegal sex trafficking going on at night I heard one of them in the room across from the room we were staying in before we moved downstairs. He was fake nice to us and offered us a nicer room that was handicap accessible for my husband and he was so happy and then ever since Trevor has been a unbearable jerk the entire time we have been staying here and even worse after we moved into the new room I am the only one working and I have missed work due to having to move rooms multiple times and having to up and move again so don't worry we will not be coming back here. He allows other people to smoke weed right in front of the hotel and other guests to buy illegal drugs in the parking lot . He argued with my husband trying to force us to stay and get more money out of us. Don't stay here your whole paycheck will be gone and you won't have money to live and he'll threaten to have you arrested. It's not a 4 or 5 star hotel. I give it one star and he's lucky I'm even giving him that. Everytime we've tried to leave he suckers us into staying . This hotel is overpriced and way too far from my job we have been lenient with him too. I thought the customer was always right but here he is not only a manger but employee arguing back and forth . He don't care about our situation. It's other people doing the same shit we got in trouble for. getting away with it. Other people banging and yelling. Smoking cigarettes in the room fighting each other physically smoking leaving cigarette butts in the parking lot leaving blunt roaches in the parking lot smoking marijuana right there but I'm expected to walk all the way somewhere else to smoke . He also offended me by calling me a drug addict when I'm not. I am a medical marijuana patient who smokes for chronic pain,anorexia ,fibroids, bipolar depression anxiety siezures . He's not being reasonable and trying to force us to stay and shove out more money. he wouldn't let us leave when we we didn't want to stay anymore he allowed other people to smoke weed in front of the hotel but I had to walk a distance far away . this hotel got my husband and I sick with Covid and we experienced bed bugs as well as lice. trevor made me uncomfortable and is not a very good man. he allows prostitution and trafficking in his hotel. don't stay here. dirty your laundry will get stolen. read more

Kitchen has dishes unlike another extended stay which requires you to pay or bring your own. This extended stay has a breakfast. That's really nice. While frantically searching for a place to stay while visiting my Dad after heart surgery, I found MCM Elegante in Colorado Springs. The location is why I booked it, but my experience is why I'll return. The free breakfast included eggs, cereal, oatmeal, bacon, sausage, strawberries, grapes, apples, bananas, Starbucks coffee, juice, muffins, bagels.... A lot! So this saves us money and time. There is a Whole Foods near by, so we stocked our full size fridge with healthy snacks. The weather outside was below freezing, and the room was always comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The rooms were clean, the dishes in kitchenette were clean. They even have Rubbermaid 'leftover' containers. Free WiFi ( enter login code every day) allowed me to sync my iPhone and iPad pictures. Customer service was polite, accommodating, and non intrusive. If I needed something, they were there, but they were not a bother. When I return to Colorado Springs with my family, I will stay here again. Erindale Park is behind the hotel and there is easy access to the main drag , North Academy, for any shopping needs. read more

I really wanted to like this hotel. But, right when we arrived there was an enormous stone carving of The 1Ten Commandments at the front door. I thought it was a bit inappropriate. But, it didn't bother me. Bibles in the rooms never bother me either. But, the lobby was very nice and clean. When we got to the room at first glance we thought, "not bad!" But, then the smell hit us. Have you ever been to someone's house who smokes inside. And they try to cover up the smell by burning Glade scented candles or using Glad plug ins, and all it does is make the house smell like smoke and scented candles? That is what the rooms smelled like. When we told the front desk person there was no attempt to change rooms or anything. He just "reassured" us that all of the rooms are non-smoking. The room seemed fairly clean. But, I found a card from two different cleaning attendants, which tells me that one was left from before two visits before us and when the room was cleaned it was not cleaned that thoroughly. Maybe just a bad one night stay for us. But, that was our experience. read more

The bed is comfortable and shower is wonderful!. There is a working laundry facility and work out place. There are shops nearby and conversations in the hallways cannot be overheard. The breakfast is fresh and coffee wonderful! Scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage, bacon, mini lemon poppy muffin and banana nut muffins, bagels and toast, orange juice and a fresh banana are given. The TV is a decent size and HBO is free. AT&T cellphone service works well too. Negatives: 1.Shared parking lot with a Hookah Bar where drinking and other activity occur in the parking lot at night. One young man was tripping in the parking lot and running around full speed at my approaching vehicle as i was pulling in at 10 pm on a Saturday night. During the day, all is fine. 2, Housekeeping!! I requested daily attendance and that did not occur. Once it was done slovenly with NAPPY HAIRS found in my toothbrush as well :( . i did not mention this to them except after I checked out as i did not want any retaliation on food stuff in the fridge. the only thing i did was ask the manager if my room was skipped as the maids left my floor without my room being done. If you go here, just go to front desk to ask for your linens and towels. 3. Phones. I had no phone service and their service to allow for calls to be made was down. i kept hearing they were going to fix it...never happened on my watch nor was an offer for the hotel phones given for me to use. The young lady Mah Rette who I would check in about it actually refunded me a night stay without me asking for anything for it. I was truly impressed. 4. Footsteps and bangs may be heard in overhead room In Brief: Overall for the good price I got from Hotwire.com and the way the young lady cared enough to give me a free night bc i had no phone and even buzzed the outside door open as i left...just showed she cared about the patrons. Avoid housekeeping like the plague bc I just inquired after it and no complaints to get pubes in my toothbrush? really? trashcans not relined and babypowder still on floor next to tub...shoddy and gross. If it were not for the disgusting treatment from them, I would give them 5 stars. If I got a great deal, I would use them but never get service from housekeeping. We are building a home and have been staying here for 3 months. That is a LONG time in a hotel room with two large dogs. This has been a great experience. I read the other reviews and must say they have corrected all issues with housekeeping as they have been great. They do a fantastic job cleaning and they even check to see if I want cleaning more often than I requested. The breakfast is great and staff is friendly. The maintenance person has handled requests in a professional manner and has gone over and above for a couple of minor issues. The place is clean, the suites are roomy, free wi fi- free laundry, and a great price. I got mine from Craigslist, but you might find a better deal elsewhere. This is a pet friendly place. The only downside is from other patrons, not staff. There are other pet owners who feel that cleaning up their dog poo must be someone else's job. Annoying! read more

I had to disclose my medical condition as to not cause more discomfort. The room is clean and nice , kitchenette helps. Need to mention that upon my check In as I walked into the hotel, I found a marijuana pipe and a jar of herb beside the building! Though I don't come close to opposing marijuana use- leaving it outside where children or animals could find it and get curious? Is unacceptable. Overall it's a low 3 star. I stayed here while attending the Tiny House Jamboree. This was a fantastic location, right off the main street. Within walking distance is a local Grocery Store (it was more like a health food market), a Chinese Food Restaurant, a local Brewery, and a liquor store. This is an extended stay hotel so each room has a full kitchenette. My room was perfect, the room doors are inside the hotel which is nice. Domino's Pizza will deliver to the hotel and they also have room service and free continental breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. They don't have daily maid service but if you need more towels or soap or coffee or anything you can get it from the front desk. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Colorado Springs. read more

Great location, right on Academy. Clean room, clean linens, clean kitchen. Adorable kitchenette with all you would need to eat in. Staff were super friendly, 10/10 there. Check in was easy, check out was easier. Breakfast was hot and fresh and good, but no variation. Same thing every morning. Still, it was a good selection - cereals, eggs, bacon, tortillas for burritos, bagels and bread, coffee, juice, fresh 3-minute belgian waffles. Now, the cons... There was no clock in the room. No alarm clock. I understand that most people use phones now but it was kind of annoying. There WAS a clock on the microwave, but... it was wrong, like someone hadn't fixed it from daylight savings. No scissors in the kitchen. Yes, super minor issue, but annoying when you're trying to open food packaging. Had a corkscrew though. The ten commandments statue at the front door was... off putting. Very little seating for breakfast, which is understandable, but the photos made it look much larger. Cloth shower curtain. I guess it worked? But it always ended up soaked. We were right above the patio with the grill. I wish they would limit the hours the grill could be used. Hearing drunken laughter at 11pm when we had to be up at 5 for a flight was tough. read more

When I opened my door to my room, I was surprised. The room was clean an it had a kitchen and a couch. I wasn't excepting the room to look so nice. They have a hot breakfast downstairs in the lobby and I was happy to see eggs and bacon at this breakfast. This was my first time staying here and it was great. I couldn't be more pleased with this hotel! I travel a lot for work and I'm always in and out of cheap hotels that really aren't so cheap. Example being this year in Colorado Springs. I was easily paying $115 a night for 2 star hotels with only a mini fridge and microwave. No thanks. However one day i was leaving to work and a young gentleman from the MCM Elegante named Trevor called me from the signs on my truck and made me an offer i couldn't refuse. I won't give out the price but he was able to get me a much better room at half the cost! This room also included dishwasher/stove/free laundry. On top of that, the customer service is through the roof. I've been all over the United States in plenty of hotels and this has been by far my best experience. We stayed here for our Regional High School Wrestling tournament. What a cool concept that I have never stayed in before. Our room was very clean, extremely well stocked with more than the essentials. I didn't take a chance to visit the gym but it had great equipment. The breakfast buffet had great options and the gravy for the biscuits was quite good. On our floor someone had food in a crockpot and smelled really yummy making me wish I had brought mine that trip. Need to change hotel to motel, this is more of a motel type of stay. Couldn't accommodate us for extra towels due to "they keep them in rotation " what ever that means. There was 3 of us staying in a room with only 2 towels given, which makes absolutely no sense to me at all. When we called back to explain there was no way 2 towels would work for 3 people, they guy at the desk seemed bothered that WE THE CLIENTS WHO TAKE PART IN HIS PAY CHECK, WERE ASKING FOR JUST TOOO MUCH.
