Pros: the pictures online do not do this place justice. Wow wow wow. We've had a wonderful time. The rooms are very soundproof. When I step into the hall, I can hear a baby crying. But when I'm in my room, I can't. The Wi-Fi is very fast. There's so much thought in detail that goes into everything. We left our bags with the valet in the front and they tagged every single item so they wouldn't get lost. And the tags are so well-made and so cute. In the room, there's more free luggage tags if you want them. There's chocolate in the room that were made on site. They have these adorable reusable water bottles. The scents to the toiletry products in the bathrooms were very pleasing. Everywhere we went people knew our name. Last night we ordered room service and I got the leek soup. I loved it. Cons: the price! On top of that, they add a service charge to nearly everything. We were feeling too tired and we canceled our restaurant reservations. Headroom service instead, and my husband did not like his burger. It was undercooked and underseasoned. read more

I was very excited to book a stay at the gorgeous Broadmoor Hotel, but prior to arriving I felt a bit let down. I had called two additional times regarding tennis and climbing and never received any follow up from either part. It was overall a great stay and I wish I would've had more time, but I'm glad to have experienced everything. From the moment you arrive on property the staff is very welcoming, attentive and polite. Check in was smooth and the we had a bellman show us to our room, giving facts about the property along the way. We went to the pool, which although it was a bit overcast by the time we got there it was a good temperature. I was a bit surprised by how dirty it was. The view though from the infinity pool/ hot tub was beautiful. We checked out the gym/ lap pool and hot tub over there. The gym is a good size and not too crowded for a Monday morning. They have a nice locker room and other amenities. The lap pool is great too! Turn down service was good, but I almost expected more- pillows were put away but it didn't seem like it was a thorough job - coming from a five star perspective. Also our shades didn't close entirely so the room had quite a bit of light still coming in which we couldn't seem to have the perfectly dark room. Super nice to walk the grounds. This place has a cool history with antique vibes. They have a lake you can walk around and you can go into the buildings and admire the history. Theres a bowling alley for the kids in the west building and a bar too. The pool also looks nice. Only complain are the prices and the parking was $$$ read more

In the mid 1950s, my dear friend Bruce Silver came here with his family as a teenager, and had magical times. In 2026, I finally visited, and I now understands what he means. I am a skeptic, so I did not anticipate how overwhelmed I would be by the beauty and service of the Broadmoor. It's a destination. It's worth it. We just had lunch at the Golden Bee, and it was magical. They threw the bee stickers. We walked around the grounds and felt fancy. My cousin got engaged there three years ago, and we were trying to find where that was, and a kind staff member helped us to find the area. I was so skeptical going in, even knowing what amazing memories my dear friend had there years ago, but the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. read more

Beautiful Hotel; The Boardmoor! We passed by the area and decided to check it out, there are only two parking sections either outside or in a parking garage. Please note the parking is quite expensive and they charge you for every 1/2 hour. Nevertheless, you get some scenic views of the mountains and surrounding area like the lake. To get to the lake you have to go into the hotel and up the escalators and out the doors. Great for pictures or a nice stroll. The staff are extremely friendly and any questions and they will guide you. Highly recommend visiting if your in the area. read more

Elegant and luxurious seems to be parallel with expensive. I'm not gonna lie. But oh. My. Gosh!! What a gorgeous resort this place is!! It was springtime when I was there, so the gardens weren't quite in full splendor and the main outdoor swimming pool wasn't open yet. I felt that the quality of the people who worked there was great but many did not speak English very well. I've lived all over the world and am fairly sufficient at communicating, but in my home country, and at a very pricey hotel, I'd like to be able to easily understand what the staff are communicating. Like I've always said; kindness is free so I sprinkled it wherever I went. The restaurants on site were extraordinary and if I wasn't here for a big conference, I don't know how I would have come. Came here to just see the place, not to stay overnight. This was featured as one of many key places to go to in Colorado Sorings so had to at least take a look. The first miss is that self-parking is about 4 blocks across the street so highly inconvenient. Parking in the garage is $5 for 30 minutes. Not enough to walk over to the hotel to even just explore. There are shops outside the hotel but most are closed by 6pm on a Sunday night The onsite restaurants didn't offer anything spectacular and the reviews were equally unappealing. There are parts of the lobby that are impressive: clean, modern opulence, reminds me of portions of Las Vegas hotels. The only difference is the less activity as if not a lot of guests stay here. There are areas where chairs are placed awkwardly facing trophy cases, what was the purpose of the furniture placement ?? The ballroom and conference center was empty. read more

Annual trip down to the Broadmoor. We were engaged here in 2023, returned 2024, and now back with our 5 month old son. Family and dog friendly hotel. Amazing service (valet, bellman, shuttle drivers, housekeeping, room service, operator, host, server, etc). Lovely rooms with comfortable bed. Clean hotel. Lots to do. Love the free shuttle - we used it to the zoo and to 7 falls. Sunday brunch is a must. Room service is great too - we did it twice (once breakfast, once dinner). We've been here in spring, summer, and now fall. The grounds are always so beautiful and well maintained. Stayed 3 nights and ate 2+ meals a day at one of their properties. No visit is complete without a stop at The Broadmoor. I was married here years ago so this is a memorable place in my heart. However, we ate and drank at the Hotel Bar and the hostess stand was a bit much. A bit pretentious. The bar was empty and they took a few minutes to find us a seat? We had some appetizers and a gross shrimp Cesar salad-ugh yuk! Sadly all the flavors were missing. Cold bland shrimp and awful bland lettuce with hardly any dressing ZERO FLAVORS! DON'T GET THIS. How do you mess up a simple salad? The Burrata salad was another mess. It had gigantic slices of tomato with no olive oil and of course it was all pricey. Nothing outstanding stood out on the average menu. A pretzel? No thanks. Sorry, but I'm expecting something a bit more elevated. The watery drinks were a bust too. Go to the Golden Bee instead if you want good food and cocktails and a decent menu. This bar menu and kitchen chef needs a revamp ASAP, especially for the prices they charge for the rooms. You should have the top chefs here! Guests deserve better than this!! The ambiance is gorgeous with seating outside on a patio with incredible views and indoors had a dark moody smokey lounge look. It rained all morning so we weren't able to sit outside, but that would have been even better. The inside of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The resort's grounds were meticulously landscaped, and featured lush gardens, fountains, & breathtaking mountain views. We checked in at the main building and bellman Sean helped us with our luggage; he was professional & attentive and ensured we got to our room with all of our bags without issue. We stayed in the Edith K. Gaylord Suite. The Edith K. Gaylord Suite at The Broadmoor was a luxurious hotel suite nestled atop the Lakeside Building. With some of the best panoramic views of the mountains & lake on the property, it was a dream stay. The suite's opulent decor and spacious layout created a sense of timeless elegance. From the cozy fireplace in the bedroom to the expansive balcony & terrace, every detail was designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation on the grandest scale. The beautifully appointed living room and dining area were equally impressive. The Broadmoor is dog friendly, and our dog Forbes enjoyed the suite as much as we did. This hotel is what you would imagine or what you would see in movies when you think of a lux hotel. It just has that WOW appeal. The grounds were beautifully kept and quite grand. There is no shortage of instagram worthy spots throughout the hotel. Their Christmas decorations made everything feel extra magical too. Top this off with the exceptional and personal service provided to you as soon as you arrive. My daughter rightly commented, "Mom, they just swept us into the hotel." Staff made sure you knew you were their top priority. Our room was large and offered views of the mountains. Room service would come twice a day to provide water, ice, chocolates and restock any supplies you may need. As a token of their appreciation, they gave free Broadmoor luggage tags. My daughter also received a keepsake tin filled with chocolates and premium nuts for her birthday. We ordered dinner and breakfast for in room dining during our stay. The dinner was sadly disappointing. We ordered Cajun shrimp pasta, piccata chicken pasta and chicken tenders with fries. Every dish was bland. Breakfast was a bit better but, it was the most expensive breakfast I've ever had. In room dining cost no less than $200+ and for a five star hotel, we expected 5 star food. There are plenty of activities offered at the hotel. There is bowling, movie theater, museum, art gallery, pools, spa, yoga in the mornings, etc. It's important to get advanced reservations, when available and possible. We purchased tickets to their New Year's Eve Gala which cost $315 per person, plus a $5 per ticket fee. We paid $960. The ticket included a 5 course dinner and it was mediocre. The steak course stood out to us as it was inconsistently cooked. At our table we had medium rare, medium and well done steaks. The sea bass with risotto and crab dish had good flavor, but we found large crab shells in the dish. Guests had to pay out of pocket for their drinks, alcoholic or not. They also had a photo op station with photographer, but this too, was an out of pocket cost. It was $35 for a photo. Many guests agreed, that the photo and at least the first round of drinks should have been included in the ticket price. The band was fantastic though! Overall, the gala was fun and it was a unique experience for my daughter. If you haven't already guessed, expect everything to be pricey, pricey and pricey. Rooms rates range from $300-$400+ per night. Dinner for 3 is no less than $200. Quick bites throughout the hotel for 3, is no less than $50+ Overall, the experience was great and the attention to guests was impeccable. It's worth doing, just maybe not every year. No read more

Wow wow wow!! I did not want to leave! I had an amazing time at The Broadmoor. I was here for a conference so I didn't have much downtime to leave the resort but I was content with my exploration inside the resort. The property is absolutely stunning and I love the views between both towers surrounding the lake. It was snowing during my trip and it added to the scenery. My hotel had an amazing view of the front grounds. The room was very comfortable and spacious! I also loved the luggage tag souvenir and completely reusable water bottles. The service was out of this world. I truly felt valued by the staff especially concierge. They were always quick to help me if I had questions and were quick to call me a shuttle to navigate around. The next huge shoutout goes to all the shuttle bus drivers. They too are very friendly. The restaurants on the property were okay. I dined at Restaurant Del Lago, Summit and Julie's Cafe. Stayed here on last week of March. I'm impressed by the room that was pretty modern and up to current standards. A small incident occurred, when we walked into the first room, I smelled a "smell from a type of plant". I had to request to switch to a different room. I reserved a "lake view room" but they switched me to Mountain View room. Not the same category and defeated the whole point I booked this hotel in the first place. Check in was fast and easy but check out was a little bit crazy due to a huge convention was taking place. I still recommend this hotel. The bed was comfortable and love the bathroom. Holiday traditions vary widely by family, but no matter how your fam chooses to celebrate Christmas, you've probably become rather attached to the traditions that you've established. A new family Christmas tradition that we've just begun (and hope to continue) is visiting the iconic Broadmoor Hotel in "The Springs" during this time of year. If you're able to get here soon you might still be able to enjoy their "Gingerbread Lightning Bug" creation which, amongst other ingredients, contains 958 pounds of powdered sugar and required approximately 308 "Elf Hours" to complete. For risk of being placed on Santa's naughty list, I cannot tell a lie. Therefore, I confess that I have absolutely no idea what the Elf/Human Hours Conversion Rate is, but that's nearly 40 typical "human" workdays! If you're looking for a little treat while strolling around their spacious grounds, we'd recommend "Cafe Julie's" for a little coffee/tea or a sweet treat. The grounds of the Broadmoor are beautiful. Most staff were friendly and helpful. Golf course immaculate. After you get over the glam of the place and start noticing the little flaws, its endless. Start noticing one thing then another then another. Overheard a guy tell his child "dont make me lay my hands on you and go get you adopted." Shocking thing to overhear and nothing to do with Broadmoor itself but it made me open my eyes to the surroundings a bit more. At the lake, you can go on boats. Boats were unavailable due to weather UNLESS you wanted to pay for the powered ones. They were ok to go out even though the "weather wasn't safe". Issue with a girl named Bryce at the pool who was taking down guest info for the boats. She had a very difficult time writing down the phone number and name of guest. As if she was learning to write for the first time or almost seemed like she was on drugs. Never got a call for our turn so followed up and found out she wrote down the wrong number even after multiple repetitions to make sure she got the correct number down. Room service food was just flat out gross. Plenty of nice restaurants around the vicinity off the resort. The previous guest's toiletries were still in drawer of bathroom when we were settling in. Checking in, was time consuming and after being told our room wasn't ready and given 2 hours of wait time, we were left to make other plans. Right when we got our plans set, they called saying room is now ready. Ill be back in colorado but not broadmoor. read more

The staff was amazing, professional and genuine friendly and helpful. Just a super warm place to experience the holidays. Super busy, but impressive nonetheless. We went here to celebrate my birthday. We were joined by our best friends. I have heard about the Broadmoor for years. We were accomodated in the building behind the main building. It was absolutely the best. We upgraded our room and had a king bed, sofa, and chair, as well as the usual desk. There was plenty of room to unpack. Our closet had 12 hangers ( most places, you are lucky to get 6). The bathroom was spacious and the shower was nice. We had a beautiful view of the lake. The grounds were lovely. Loved our stay at The Broadmoor! My husband had a work conference here so I happily tagged along. Our room was huge and clean. We loved the double sinks and the closet was spacious. I loved using the rain shower. The room also came with a mini fridge and coffee maker. The grounds on this resort are gorgeous! Everything is kept well-maintained. Inside, there are so many areas for seating and relaxing. Outside, I enjoyed walking around the whole lake and loved how there were benches along the way. Perfect for sitting and reflecting or enjoying a book outside. There are many restaurants to choose from and service is impeccable. The wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly. We also went to the bowling alley one night and had a ton of fun!! There is an indoor pool and an outdoor lap pool and jacuzzi as well which is in the same building as the fitness center. Absolutely amazing views from the hotel and great place for selfies! Went here with some family members and we killed some time and walked around the beautiful pond. We then had some great food and cocktails outside and enjoyed the views and fresh air. Highly recommend this place!! read more

My family and I go here almost every other summer to get our taste of the Broadmoor. This hotel is like no other. From the infinity pool, cafe Julie sweet treats, the kind bellmen's and the ones who know the broadmoor "secrets"... it's a worth wild place to stay. The food is excellent and my favorite place is the Golden Bee, with live music from Bud (a piano man who has been there for YEARS!) and the excellent pub food, you can't go wrong. I love this place so much I've taken my friends here after going a few times with my family. There is so much to do on the resort you really don't even need to even leave the hotel. The hidden gem I like to tell people about is the beautiful pink pool near the workout room + golfing area. Explore this hotel and soak all the memories up! TIPS FOR GOING: -book dinner in advance. All reservations fill up quickly. -eat at cafe Julie as much as possible -take advantage of the shopping experience on the grounds + always check times, shops close early. -get the beer pretzel at Golden Bee, the beer cheese is insane. -piñas at the infinity pool are to die for! -take as many pics as possible! -use the lotion it smells great -be prepared for a longer check in, they are very precise about what you need in your room, etc. so this can take longer than an average place. -ask the workers about broadmoor history read more

You're in a beautiful bubble here. The grounds are very well kept and picturesque at every turn. The resort staff is friendly with a well- trained staff and it shows. The food is delicious but takes an extremely long time even for a basic dish. Also, be prepared to pay top dollar along with a 20% gratuity and a service charge to every receipt/bill around the resort (including groceries). read more
