They quoted me a price that was beyond my budget, but they were 100% willing to work with me to find a way to get the work done within my budget. When I received the car back, earlier than expected, the work was done well. The folks working behind the counter are honest and good people. You don't find places with people like this very often any more, and usually people only tell others when a place is bad, but this place deserves a good review. But it's not the place, it's the people that make the place. There is a reason this place has a lot of five star reviews and it is definitely because of the people - and the work was done right too. Now I have only had this one experience there, but from the beginning to the end, the folks there were friendly, and explained the process, and I got back my car fixed correctly. Hit a high spot in a road while driving and cracked an aftermarket front bumper and splitter. Not only was this fiberglass, the paint color is also a pearl white. I had caused an accident and was suggested I take my car here from my agent. I wanted to make sure I got a great deal so I shopped around and went to FIVE different places around my area and even as far as 30 miles away from my home. I have to say hands down this is the best place and I see why I was told to come here. The waiting area is nice and the building looks great, the young man in the front office handled everything professionally and kept me in the loop the whole week it was there. I had to have practically the entire front end of my car replaced and I since I have a complex paint - was worried it wasn't going to look right (you know what I mean). I've had several of my cars repaired by McMahon over the course of more than 15 years and they've always provided excellent service in quality, timing and the extras. Like wiping down the inside passenger compartment. They vacuumed the carpeting in front and after the sloppy recent weather they even wiped down the door jam on the drivers side. If it were possible, this place would get zero stars. Have had work done here twice and problems with the paint work both times. Both times, the paint would bubble shortly after it was done. The first time, brought it back at least 2 times, may have been more and it finally was corrected. The 2nd time, it started bubbling again after just a few days. When I brought it back, they said it was because there was rust on it when it was painted. Well, I guess the idiots never heard of removing the rust before you paint it. DUH!! Complained to the insurance company after the assholes here would not repaint it this time. They had me bring it somewhere else and the guys there told me exactly what had to be done. Guess what, it included removing the rust!! They couldn't believe anyone REPUTABLE would paint knowing it would be problematic soon afterwards. The key word there is REPUTABLE. This place obviously is not. There are many other shops in the area. I suggest you utilize them and avoid this place like the plague. They can't be worse than here. They put a new storefront on here a year or so back. Probably the only good thing about this place. All I have ever gotten here is shabby work. There is no pride evidently. If you go to other places, I would ask if their paint technicians were ever employed here too. If so, I would go to another place. read more

My car was repaired here by suggestion of my insurance company. After the repairs were done I received a car with missing decals, paint job full of dirt and solvent pop, and misaligned panels. Mechanical parts that should have been replaced were not. When I brought this to the attention of the gentleman at the front desk I was met with a blank stare and little acknowledgement of the issue, and what seemed like little understanding of basic car parts and paint finishing. After a little chat with my insurance, McMahon refinished the areas and realigned panels. A mechanical part was replaced but an alignment was not performed causing premature wear with one of my tires. After receiving the car back a second time I noticed defects in the paint further back on the car, an area they painted but didn't document and claimed to know nothing about. My insurance agent sent me photos of those parts in the paint booth being painted at their shop... It was at this point I was allowed to bring my car to a quality shop to have the remaining repairs finished properly. A few years after the "repair" and my car has started to have a rust issue, and the only area of body rust are the areas worked on by McMahon. The rest of the car looks immaculate for it's age, except the areas repaired by this body shop. I would not recommend them. Poor quality work, terrible front end staff with questionable knowledge and nothing but the run around from an "insurance preferred company". They shouldn't be preferred by any insurance company. read more

BEWEARE this place is a hack shop. Got $400 quote for painting and 2-3 day lead time. Also asked for quote to repair a fender. Didn't get call on quote for repair to fender for a week. Car took almost 2 weeks. Paint does not match anything. Car is bright red but paint they put on looked more red, orange. They didn't spray all exposed areas and also I had black over spray from someone else's job they were doing. When I took the car back they seemed to be upset that I was not willing to let the black over spray pass and they did not know I wanted all the exposed parts painted. They seem to think red, orange and primer white was what I wanted as my finished product. I was told if I wanted the area to match anything it would cost $1200. So stay away. read more

I have not had a car accident in over 15 years, and really didn't know which way to turn. They helped me with everything. The girl behind the counter was so nice and helpful. Everything was taken care of with extra care! They even replaced something very important to me and did't have to. I am a bit puzzled over the other reviews? I was treated so nice and it seemed like they really care about their customers. Several others came in while I was waiting for an answer to something and they were just as nice to them. Wow, is all I can say. I don't know much about cars but I do know I was sent to 6 other shops who clearly wanted money, lied to me and seemed ignorant. McMahon Auto Body guided me and helped me understand EVERYTHING, helped me save my money and not over spend. Helped me UNDERSTAND my insurance/ copay and time etc. I'm so pissed I wasted time elsewhere. They did a wonderful job and worked with my ball of stress self to calm me and reassure me they would get it right. And they sure did. I took my car there for paint work on a left rear 1/4 panel. work seemed good but things disappear from inside the car. I had a very clean car inside. Nothing in the car actually except a car scanner in a little bag. Sitting right on the rear seat. It turned up missing. I tried to find out who worked on my car and they have one location that takes apart the interior and another that does body work. Everyone played stupid and mgr would not help out trying to find out who all was involved with car. I have needed body work on other cars and will not ever return to them read more

When I picked it up I noticed some work that was suppose to be done wasn't and some of the work that was done was done poorly (not finished up as it should have been). There are very few things in my life that I don't stress about and BODY WORK is one of them. I have been going to McMahon for YEARS. Atleast 6 different visit in the last 10 years. They have ALWAYS done a complete (sometimes extra work was done without charge). Their work is always top notch. They have done work on four different cars in the last decade and we have been happy EVERY TIME. Not always insurance work either. Out of pocket issues that were bugging me and they quoted a MORE THAN FAIR price and did the work quickly and efficiently. James has a great way of working with the insurance companies and I have NEVER had to get involved once the car was at McMahon's, even if there was underlying damage that wasn't visible. He calls the ins. company and gets it taken care of. Family owned for over two decades too!!! LOVE McMahon and wouldn't EVER go any where else for my auto body needs!!! read more

Unfortunately for me I tried to give them my business Guillermo seems to be a nice guy but something went wrong where I'm not very happy right now I don't like to bad mouth business unless they really deserve it this is a scenario that I also blame myself for not following up and what was supposed to be done here Guillermo knows what happened here I know what happened I'm not going to point fingers But I will advise anyone in an accident and there car is elsewhere and is trying to get there car to a shop of there choice don't trust that the shop of choice will handle that for you follow up don't be trustworthy like I was things go wrong along the way and storage fees get bigger each day that goes by in my case if I would of followed up on what was supposed to be done my storage bill would of only been a couple hundred dollars that being said now my bill is in the thousand dollar range yes I'm mad but again I don't want this to happen to anyone so please if you get into an accident follow up constantly until your vehicle gets picked up day matter $$$$$ and I know have to figure out what and how I'm I going to solve this problem read more

We have had body work completed many times over the years with McMahon and have nothing but great success with their work. Did have one issue with a mirror they replaced and when I reached out to them, they replaced it with no cost to me and did it right away. worst place ever ,insurance sent me there for estimate and they gave me an estimate that was over a thousand dollars less than other places that I actually got the work done at. got the repairs done and it was still over a thousand off for actual repairs done.Moral of the story was fraudulant estimate so the insurance would save money ,lowlifes stay away very dishonest company .$1100 estimate for $2300 of visable damage. read more
