I recently got into a car accident and Wayne really went above and beyond to help me out, from helping me get my rental car to providing a fair estimate for damages. Unfortunately my car wasn't worth salvaging, and he even helped me out there. You can tell by talking to him that he cares about the customer and just really just loves to work on cars, and isn't out to take all your money, which I really, really appreciate, especially in this industry. You'll see on their website that their motto is "Where Customers Become Friends". You know how sometimes you'll read hokey stuff like that and just kinda wave it off? This is truly a place where you'll feel that way. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They even do scheduled maintenances -- if I can't get to my dealer, I would more than trust Wayne with my new car. read more

Very poor quality work. I saw the reviews and decided to take my car there, but unfortunately, I ended up with leaks in my trunk. They replaced the trunk and the passenger door, and after taking the car back for repairs, rust started appearing only two months later. The quality of the workmanship was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. read more

It does not take much to walk in, talk with the people there and feel comfortable with their attitude, work quality and prices. They are associated with Rouse's in Libertyville which is where we have gone for years for engine work and general service. We would give them 6 stars if we could. I am so pleased with this shop. I looked at a lot of places that State Farm insurance endorsed, but this shop had the best reviews and I can see why. Eric told me that my car would be done in four days, and it was completed in three days. The car looks and drives great! Also, even though I do not pay for rental car coverage, Eric offered to help me get a discount. He even called me before I was scheduled to bring my car in to find out if I needed a rental. I feel that should have been my responsibility to contact him, but he took it upon himself to check up on me for any additional assistance I needed. The heat went out in my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I went to numerous places to find out why no heat. I was given the runaround. I came upon car tech on google, just looking for mehcanics. I called and spoke with Wayne and he told me to come in. He was very honest in telling me exactly why i had no heat. He even suggested I get a second opinion. I got the 2nd opinion and came back to Wayne. The part was ordered and now I have heat. Wayne is a very honest person and is not out to rip a person off.
