Some time ago, I was drinking a glass of red wine in the sitting room. Although I wasn't drunk, the glass slipped from my hand over one of the cream cushions on the sofa. I was horrified and my shock wasn't limited to the loss of the glass of Château Margaux premier grand cru, as bad and all that this was, but rather at the thought of the cost of having to replace all the covers on the sofa. We quickly took the cover off the cushion and next morning brought it around to McMahons Dry Cleaners, in the Knocklyon shopping centre, where we spoke to Paschal, narrating the previous night's disaster. Paschal indicated that he would do his best, explaining that wine stains were very difficult. We put our hope and trust in Paschal. A couple of days later this was well rewarded. The stain for all intents and purposes had vanished. Since then we have left all our cleaning needs with McMahons, who offer a quality service at a reasonable price.
