I live in Salem NH and had a upstairs ceiling that was showing signs of a roof leak. The leak showed in basically one spot, but telltale other locations in the same room indicated water was dripping onto the ceiling in more than once locale. I had two other roofer's out to inspect the problem and both drew different conclusions about what was required to fix the issue and I selcted one, not Tarbox in round one. After weeks of promising to show and never arriving to do the repair, I called the second company back, same result. I then called Tarbox as a third contractor hoping to achieve better results. They they showed up, which incidentally was the next day (fast) they performed a inspection of the area and drew a total new and different conclusion. I was a little skeptical because his conclusion was such a departure from the others. What was also interesting was he was much quicker to isolate what he thought the problem was. He provided a price and date to fix it which I accepted. He kept in contact with me over the next several days verifying his target date and did show up on the hour and date promised. His repair was relatively quick and when complete left no signs that he had been there, all the mess was cleaned up and the repaired area looked perfect. Six months have now passed and we are in Janurary, the repair has performed outstanding. I can see from inside the attic that the rafters are dry and the plywood roof is bone dry. If I had hired any of the other roofer's the roof would still be leaking since they were going to repair the ridge vent. Tarbox concluded the ridge vent was fine and the leak was elsewhere. I cannot say enough good about Tarbox Roofing when it comes to talent, experience, honesty, and commitment. If you are looking at them for a roof repair or new roof they are the best in the business, period.

Our roof leaks in multiple places, we assume it's old and needs replacement so we call Joe and he comes to take a look. Turns out the roof is not old, Joe tells us it's probably less than 8 years but it was completed so poorly that we have to replace entire sections and, in fact, we will end up replacing the entire roof by the time that we are done. Given that we had not budgeted for a new roof I was freaking out a little bit. But Joe was honest about what we need to fix now and what we could hold off on until we had the money to complete the job. He was honest, prompt, and came back to complete the job on a Saturday. We are now leak free! Without hesitation I would recommend Arone Exteriors, in fact we will be using them again in the Spring to complete the replacement of our poorly done roof.
