As you can see from the picture, this is the kind of work they claim to be complete. I will say that he is a very smooth talker when initially "selling" their service, but please beware as they seem to be better at leaving you on your own after he's collected his final payment.

Got a leak in my roof. I call McPhail. They immediately came down to assess the leak. They didn't…read moredo a water test and they claimed that the current roof I had, which is only five years old, was installed improperly. They recommended I install a new roof with them. I paid them $2500 and it supposed to come with a warranty. A week later the roof leaked in the same spot again after they installed it. They came down and inspected the roof and couldn't figure out the issue. So they install sloppy flashing on the upper roof wall junction. Then sometime later, it started leaking again...same spot. They came down, inspected it and couldn't find the problem. Then a snow storm comes in Feb 2021 and 12" of snow is on my roof. I gently shovel most of it off the roof. But some ice settles along the corners of the wall junction. Again, as it melts, roof leaks. I emailed Ron my complaint with pictures and asked him to help me find a solution. He denies any responsibilty, says his work was done correctly, and that he believes my leak is coming from the upper roof (too late, you installed the lower one for nothing). He offers no money back and then wants an apology from me when he is able to prove me wrong, which he never did. I gave him three opportunities to find the problem and fix it and all he does is deflect blame to others but himself. A few days ago, my roof leaked once again from heavy rains. I have already filed a claim with the manufacture and I'm trying to take the proper steps to gather more evidence and hopefully resolve this issue once and for all. Long story short....McPhail Siding and Roofing is incompetent and unprofessional. They ripped me off, wasted my time, and I will never ever recommend or use them again.

Our roof leaks in multiple places, we assume it's old and needs replacement so we call Joe and he comes to take a look. Turns out the roof is not old, Joe tells us it's probably less than 8 years but it was completed so poorly that we have to replace entire sections and, in fact, we will end up replacing the entire roof by the time that we are done. Given that we had not budgeted for a new roof I was freaking out a little bit. But Joe was honest about what we need to fix now and what we could hold off on until we had the money to complete the job. He was honest, prompt, and came back to complete the job on a Saturday. We are now leak free! Without hesitation I would recommend Arone Exteriors, in fact we will be using them again in the Spring to complete the replacement of our poorly done roof.
