Daniel's brother helped service a slow draining kitchen sink issue. Previously we tried a bunch of…read moredraino and hot water but still had an issue later on. So we called a professional. Given his stellar 5-star reviews we felt comfortable hiring F1. His quote was reasonable and though he wasn't available to come immediately, only a few days later. We originally agreed for him to visit on Friday but somehow he or his bro made a mistake and visited on Thursday, when no one was home at that time he came. He did come back on Friday at our scheduled time and fix the issue with the electric power snake. I wasn't present when he did it but someone else was in my place. He also didn't send a follow up text to tell me it's fixed, diagnoses, photos or how to prevent it. But at the same time, he's also patient and didn't ask me to pay until I prompted him several hours later asking about the status of the job. I suppose he's a busy man! Communication could be better, just keep in mind you may have to prompt him again to get your receipt later. What's important is that it's fixed and working properly.

He offered fast, friendly, and affordable service! Some things I learned: I noticed he didn't caulk the new toilet and after asking, he advised that high rise don't allow that in the gta. He also advised that the kitchen sink was incorrectly installed by the former condo owner. He did a great job replacing it and removing as much of the incorrect caulk/glue as he could. We had to get rid of the old toilet ourselves but I think that's built into the cost since I was quoted at least $40 more by other plumbers who offered that service. Overall, I recommend Daniel's plumbing services. The sink and toilet are still working great.

Each would cost $600.  Could do it on the spot.  Seemed very eager to get the green light.  As the cost seemed high, I said I was going to wait.  Called Jeff Smith Plumbing.  After checking several things in the hopes that both parts were not faulty, he confirmed that both the faucet and drain needed to be replaced. Fixed the drain on the spot, had to come back the next day with the faucet, which was a name brand. Did the whole repair for just under $400, less than one third of the competitor's price.

Company statement: "J&S went bankrupt on Dec 1, 2018, and the assets and customer base were…read moreacquired by a numbered Ontario company, now doing business as JS Home Services. Any warranties provided by J&S are invalid." I am a customer but they never informed us of this until just now. We have an extended warranty on an air conditioner, as well as a 3-year service plan they failed to honour. J&S had only one HVAC serviceman working who was so incompetent he came here eleven times, never fixed our air conditioning problem, installed simple thermostat wires backwards, then tried to sell us a new furnace. When I called another company for a second opinion, turns out the furnace only needed a small part replaced. Even though they're still around and made a minor name change to JS Home Services, they have likely left numerous customers stranded, as they did us. If you are a homeowner or commercial business, save yourself money and headaches. Do NOT do business with JS Home Services or the owner, Mike Rizzi, in Newmarket ON.
