For 3 years my 9 year old son has been on Methylphenidate, i use to pick up the prescription and play the game of "who has the med's this month" taking up to 7 hours of driving just to get it filled, with the new year(Jan 2021) i am no longer able to get it...fine...but the reason i was picking it up was because this place does not send out the prescription until 7PM. The prescription has been hard to get where i have driven from Decatur township to as far up as Castleton to Brownsburg to Whites Town and as far as Bloomington to get it filled. Of course since they wait till that last damn moment 99% of the time the prescription is taken by someone else and i have to play the game of "lets call the doctor again" just to do it the following day. so far their best time is me treating to call a lawyer cause i was very pissed and got it within 4 hours.....their worst was (I'm not joking here) 16 days after i they say one thing to your face and lie the rest of the time. I would not trust them to do a prescription of a cough drop cause I'm sure that would take 3 days. Find a person that knows how to spell doctor you would probably be better off. And if you need medication GO BEG ON THE STREET CORNER YOU ARE GARENTEED TO GET IT FASTER THAT WAY!!!!!!!!!!!

The first visit it was recommended I try an injection to see if that would relieve the pain. It didn't help at all so the 2nd visit we discussed surgery. I was extremely hesitant & left the appointment convinced I would not return. Well I had the surgery last Tuesday (6 days ago) (I believe it was called an ACDF procedure) and Dr Horn did an amazing job. I wasn't nervous until the moment I was being wheeled in. He has a fantastic bedside manner. Explains everything & makes you feel secure & comfortable with what is happening. I wish I knew my nurses name because she was absolutely exceptional. I couldn't have asked for better. I wasn't thrilled with the anesthesia doctor, I thought he was a bit rude & cocky (actually made me cry after speaking to him) but the rest of the staff was amazing. I'm still in some pain but I believe that's normal, I would absolutely do this again & am looking forward to a much improved life. Cannot thank Dr Horn enough!

There are over a dozen offices throughout the Midwest if this office isn't convenient. Parking is convenient with a parking garage under the building with the elevator going directly to Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine's Office on the 2nd floor. Dr. McCanna is very approachable and easy to talk too. He reviews Xrays and MRI in layman terms and takes the time to answer any and all of my questions. His surgical description is clear and easy to follow. Scheduling me with Dr. Wilson for a nerve block reduced the pain almost immediately until I was ready for surgery and a true blessing. Dr. McCanna is thorough, doesn't take unnecessary risks or rush to surgery if he feels there are unnecesaary risks during or after with healing i.e. postponing my surgery due to a A1c number to high risking my healing process. I was scheduled for surgery to replace my C-6 and C-7 due to degenerative disc disease. The day of surgery went well and I felt I was in excellent hands. I was still nervous but the surgical team did a great job reassuring me. I have to give a huge shout-out to Emma Schulte, Dr. McCanna's Neurosurgical Physician Assistant, who is invaluable, totally accessible and has a fabulous rapport with her patients. She provided follow up calls as promised, interacted with my liver doctors and transplant coordinator and I always felt she was on top of my case. I cannot say enough great things! My four week post op visit went quickly and smoothly. Xrays are done in office 15 minutes prior to physicians appointment by a very nice, friendly tech. The wait time was minimal for all appointments. My scar has healed nicely and is barely noticeable on my neck. Great job and thank you Dr. McCanna! I still have a couple additional follow up appointments until I'm back to 100% but I feel like I'm almost there. Thank you to all who participated in my treatment plan.
