An extremely skinny person sat with me in the basement. She asked where I wanted to lose the "inches" I said my mid-section. I was told it was easy and I was guaranteed a 6 inches loss. My waist measures 30 inches and I am 5.8", so I expressed that I don't need to lose 6 inches. " It's measured in 3 different places of your mid-section: you will lose 6 inches" When I asked what would happen if I don't lose it, I was told "it's impossible, unless you are taking Prozacs, these days, Docs love to prescribe Prozac: it leads to weight gain and make the poor ladies even more depressed" The "lady" I met said so many enormities, I couldn't believe she would be allowed to talk to potential clients. Things like (And i swear I am not making anything up here) "You will lose fat everywhere: fat cells talk to fat cells" "We all want to lose inches, but don't want to go to the gym" "I had a gym for 12 years and working out does not burn the fat" "There are other options, like lipo, but you should know that I am fixing those poor ladies who had lipo: the fat starts to appear all over their upper body" I could go on for more, but I guess you get the point by now... As a result of not having an updated credit card on file WW cancelled my membership (with no warning) and now they say they cannot reactivate it. This seems like they are trying to get rid of their lifetime members since they do not make any $ from us. They told me I had to start my membership again and pay to do this! Really - I guess this is how they are trying to get $ out of lifetime members!

I wanted to start getting professional facials and was really excited about the idea of going to a…read moremedical spa so I booked in with Skin Vitality. I was however not treated very kindly and when I went in for my consultation to determine what treatment would work best, I met with a nurse who did the initial assessment and then passed me along to the doctor (I guess) who was insanely snobby, unpleasant, derogatory, and quite frankly just entirely unprofessional. She mentioned her suggestions for my skin and due to the cost being very high, the process being long, and the results affecting my FACE, I said I'd need to think about it and get back with my decision (as any normal person would be within their right to do). The doctor then gave the MOST DEROGATORY look i've ever seen, so so so unprofessional and said verbatim "is it because of the cost? is it too much for you?". How rude! I am willing to spend what is required to take care of myself but having to think about it doesnt mean you cant afford it - it just means you are trying to be responsible and determine whether or not the spend is worth it given that I dont have any serious skin concerns and objectively my skin is quite fine (which the nurse told me right before). I'm just trying to step it up a notch with my maintenance but wasn't sure if spending thousands of dollars was necessary. Anyway, I thought about it on my way out the door of the clinic and decided that even if it costed $1.00, their service was entirely undeserving of my money being spent there. Good luck getting new clients if that's how you treat people and if that's the taste they leave in people's mouths. But you know what, after looking at their site, now I know I'm not the only one because their reviews are quite appropriate for what i experienced - abysmal. Good luck.
