My brother and I went to five different assisted and Memory Care Facilities around the Temecula Murrieta area, and all of their memory cares look like zombieland. Very few caregivers, everybody sitting around doing nothing, no music, no one doing activities no laughing and very very depressing. And then we found Vineyard Ranch. The facility is beautiful and very well-kept. When we walked into the memory care, everybody was out of their rooms and doing something. People were laughing, talking activities were going on everywhere, and staff were visible throughout the rooms. Completely different environment and that made us very, very happy. She has been there for 3 weeks now, and she doesn't mention going home at all. She tells everyone this is her home and that she loves it there. She's always doing an activity and keeping busy. She's made a lot of friends. The food is good and she finishes all of her meals. Staff are always there to keep an eye on everyone. After any exercise, the staff brings everyone protein smoothies. Every Thursday they have an excursion to someplace fun and stimulating. At a time when dealing with a situation like this, it can be extremely stressful and create feelings of guilt. Vineyard Ranch has made the transition smooth, easy, and very pleasant. We are so happy to see Mom happy laughing and involved. Couldn't ask for more than that.

Thankfully, our experience has been nothing short of amazing. From the beginning, the staff have been incredibly kind and helpful, and the environment is warm and welcoming. A special mention goes to Kat Librojo, the Activities Director/Life Enhancement Coordinator, who has truly made a remarkable difference in my parents' daily lives. Kat plans a wide variety of fun, engaging, and meaningful activities that keep residents active and connected. My parents participate daily in many of Kat's programs--from exercise in the gym, balloon games, trivia, and bingo, to flower arranging, chair Pilates, core strength classes, and their favorite: Thursday Happy Hour with live music! Kat is always full of energy and creativity, and whenever I visit, she's there with a smile, often decorating for the next holiday or special event. It's clear that the joy and engagement my parents feel is directly tied to the caring and dedicated team at Highgate--especially Kat. I'm so grateful to see them not just comfortable, but truly thriving.

Sam and Jose are one in a million (well 2 in a million). In a business that has a LOT of turnover, these two HEROS have been looking after our mom for quite some time and we are grateful to have them. While we hope and pray that no one ever needs the services at Highgate senior living (memory care) rest assured they have excellent care givers. A special shout out to Jessica and her team. While we don't have as much interaction with the evening shift we can give many kudos to Michaela and Joseph. And we would be remiss if we didn't offer an additional thanks to Natasha and Jessica (care partner)

I placed my aunt in this home a little over 3 1/2 years ago with dementia. The prior top rated and very expensive facility she was in was just not giving her the care I felt she needed as she was starting to decline. From the moment she came into this home the people who own it and their workers made Peggy feel she was with family. My one request to them was not to have her stay in her bedroom all day. No matter when I came over, and they never had warning of the time, she was up, dressed, cleaned and in the family room. She loved music and they always had some form of music playing for her. They took the time to learn the music that put a smile on her face. Elizabeth, one of the owners, was always making sure her hair was nice and doing her nails. She was always talking to Peggy which put a big smile on her face. Winston, the other owner, would always have a donuts and coffee with Peggy and talk to her in the morning. The expressions on her face made you know she loved that attention from him. If it was nice outside, he would wheel her out to the porch to sit in the sun, which was one of Peggy's favorite things to do each day when she was in her own home before the dementia. Winston did much of the lifting and as soon as she got on her feet she would always want to dance with the music. Winston was great at keeping her upright and steady so she could handle a few swaying motions to feel like she was young again. The house never once smelled bad or never looked dirty. Window blinds were always open to let the sunshine in. Windows were open on nice days to let fresh air in. Meals always looked good. Her first year in the house on her birthday they allowed me to bring family and food in to celebrate with her. Everyone that works in this home is always happy to talk to you and make you feel like you are part of their family. Covid was difficult, I'm a healthcare worker and couldn't take chances coming into the home to often. There was always a chance I could have something that could be passed on to her or anyone else in the home. I relied on the owners to keep me informed on how she was doing and anything she may have needed. Their number one priority for them was always to keep all of their residents safe. The most special part of care in this home came the day Peggy was passing. The call was made to me with the news. I was really sick and talking with Winston we agreed as much as my plan had always been to be there with her while she was passing it just couldn't happen. I couldn't come into the home and possibly get everyone as sick as I was. I know they were with her throughout the night watching over her. Winston was great at calling and texting me regularly to keep me well informed of what was going on. They made sure she was in no pain. As soon as she took her last breath, he was on the phone with me at 3:40 AM letting me know she finally looked at complete peace. After 9 years she was no longer in battle with dementia. In my heart I know there was no better place or people to be with then the owners and workers of this home. I will always be grateful for the care and love they gave my aunt.

She had a bladder problem that meant she needed to go to the bathroom a lot and at her last place, her diaper would often be really wet, which made her skin red and irritated. But at Pebble Brook, that redness went away because the staff made sure to take her to the bathroom whenever she needed to go. They were really attentive, listened to her needs and even paid attention to what she liked to eat, watch on TV and listen to in music. Their commitment made a huge difference in her comfort and happiness so I highly recommend bringing your loved one here!

At 91 years old, my mom had a new lease on "lake life" at Harveston. Laurie, one of the office personnel gave a wide-range of optional amenities ranging from housekeeping to personal caregivers. The whole process was very reassuring that she was going to the right place. Unfortunately, she became ill with Covid which sent her health spiraling downward. Laurie was very supportive during this time. Unfortunately, my mother passed before having the opportunity to move. Although we don't have first hand experience with life at Chateau at Harveston, I can say that the office staff is amazing and the facility is gorgeous. The rooms are very spacious and inviting too!
