I called Myra a few days ago explaining I have a new piece that I want to have cut and installed. She told me the price will be $130 and If I want color it will be additional $20. I made the appointment and drove from Woodland Hills to Westwood and when I got there she told me It will be $430.00 plus the cost of color. I flew in to LA with a Swiss Lace hair system I personally bought from Lavivid, hoping to find just the right person to cut it down to size and help install it professionally. I had been experimenting with hair systems for a few months already at this point, but due to living in a country where hair system salons don't exist, the only experience I had was asking a normal hair salon to follow instructions I gave them to study beforehand and try it out as a potential service they can offer others in the future. This only ended in disaster the two times I tried it, so I was determined while in LA to find a true professional who specializes in hair systems and can give me the service I deserve. Everything I read online taught me that it's a real gamble what quality service you'll receive in LA too, but I believe I found the real deal with Myra. From the moment Myra got to work, I could tell it is an art for her acquired from many years of experience. She knew exactly where the hairline should be naturally placed (finally someone gets this!!), cut the base down to exact size on my scalp without any uncomfortable excess on the sides, applied the adhesives without any hassle whatsoever, and knew exactly how to cut and style the hair in a way that aesthetically fits me while accounting for how hair system hair differs from natural hair (i.e. she knows how to handle the density and make it look like your natural hair instead of like a party wig, which is how it always looks when the non-professionals do it for me so far). The blending is absolutely seamless, and she was kind enough to guide me on exactly what products to use, as well as tell me my scalp measurements for my own future reference. It's been a few weeks now and I simply can't go back to either of the two units I had previously before Myra. For the first time in decades I truly feel like I have what is a natural full head of hair on my scalp. I'm not kidding when I say I'm contemplating moving to LA just so I can be where I can continue receiving her service! She provides all the services that Hair Club provided but for a let less money and in this economy that's significant. Myra does not stand behind her products. She gives a 30 day return policy, but doesn't honor it. After a few weeks the hairpiece was looking a little blond. I mentioned this to her but she said she didn't see any blond. After the 30 day period...the piece went completely blond. It was very expensive and looked good for two weeks...then it was downhill from there. I've had hair replacement done for twenty years and my stylist (who has since retired) always fixed any problems I had FREE OF CHARGE. Myra charges for every little thing...overcharges for tape strips..$10 which can be found on Amazon for a lot less than that, $40 to wash the piece...without styling etc. She told me after I wash it in purple shampoo, the gray would magically reappear. Wrong! I could wash it fifteen times and it would never have become gray. I spent $100 on five different purpIe shampoos and I still have a blond hairpiece...I'm 85 years old and people are laughing at me. I've never been treated this way and don't deserve to be! I believe the least she could have done is color the hair at no charge...which she wouldn't do. I would have given her zero stars if I could! read more

It started with HairClub who charged me $3500 for 6 months service. Again they requested $3000 for next six months. That's when i found MD hair Replacement which is also in Los Angeles CA. I was surpirsed when she charged very less compared to Hair club and provided the hair style i always wanted. She uses good quality products. She takes her time and enjoys her work. At some times, even when i am satisfied, she would continue to make corrections and bring the best. This is a small family owned, so it is completely private and very personal when you go there. If I could give Myra more than five stars I would...she is absolutely the BEST! I went to her shop unannounced (after finding her through a Google search and great Yelp reviews) on a Thursday afternoon looking for a ponytail hair extension for a holiday photo shoot I was doing with my son on that Saturday. It was a totally last minute idea that I knew would probably not happen but was definitely worth a try. Even though Myra requires appointments and had a client in her shop she was extremely gracious, spending a lot of time with me. Then she took my information, a photo of my hair (for color matching purposes) and vowed to try to find the extension in time. I left her a message on Friday afternoon to follow-up and when we spoke later that evening she told me that she had, in fact, found a ponytail for me that she thought I would be happy with. She texted me a picture of it. I was blown away. It was perfection! We arranged for me to pick it up early Saturday morning in time for my hair appointment and the photo shoot.
