To all parents, This office is not the best at returning your calls. I had an incident with them a few weeks ago and I tried to call their office and left emails and messages and no one ever got back to me, until I had to physically go to the doctor's office. In addition, my son's specialist attempted to get ahold of the office for several days and they also never returned her call. It was very urgent as my son was supposed to have surgery the next day and a referral need to be fax to the specialist asap. This office out sources all their calls through a third party and you never get to speak to the staff at the Plano office. Just letting other parents know. Thanks and have a great day! read more

The only reason I still take my children to this office is because of Dr. Skaliks being here! She is really great explains a lot, and over explains often to where she has answered all my questions without me even asking! Another plus is Nicole! Both so sweet, kind and caring which many people in this office lack, sadly since it's a pediatric office. And I know I've taken my daughter here the past 5 years. At one point I was looking for a new pediatrician because I felt the care from previous drs we saw in this office lacked greatly. I have been waiting a month and a half for a doctor to sign a referral sent from another office. I had to call them and figure out my child needs to go for a check up before the doctor sign the document. No one cared to call me and say, Hey, we got a document that needed to be signed, but in order to do that we have to see your child. Absolutely unacceptable! read more

I can not comprehend how this place or anyone in it is considered a professional. I can't tell you any other place besides the military you wait longer. If you have an 815 appointment you aren't being seen until 945. After that hour and half wait the doctor spent 2 1/2 mins with my child and then left. So what in the hell is happening? Y'all growing and brewing your own coffee?! 3 mins a patient and then 30 min wait to recoup?! This place is nothing short of ridiculous. First they put my appointment down for the wrong location. I took my kids in on Tues. The nurse practitioner prescribed 2 medications per child which included eye drops. The pharmacy couldn't fill it due to the brand not being covered by the insurance. I've called the office 4 times and keep getting told that the notes are in the system waiting for the Dr to read. It's Friday and they STILL HAVE NOT CALLED IN AN ALTERNATIVE MEDICATION. I'm switching to a different Dr. If this is how MD Kids Pediatrics handles their patients, and they are part of Children's Medical, I won't trust either with my kids. read more

Never pick up the phone. The most horrible phone service!! I'm waiting to talk to someone for 15 mins then they hang up on you!! Taken me an hour just to get someone on the phone then she hangs up. Very unprofessional environment Dr. Erica Randall came into the room and said which patient are you. I told her my daughters name and she said oh yeah okay so why are you here? I was wondering if she had even looked at any of the paperwork before entering the room bc she should have known that. I was there for a neurology referral to switch doctors. She began interrogating my prematurely born daughter about her weight and how skinny she was. Which in return made her feel insecure about her body and I'm still dealing with the repercussions of that and making her feel good about herself again. When I told her my daughter has always had a more petite body type and she hasn't lost any weight throughout her life she just may not fit the standards in your book. She got very aggressive with me and said she needs to eat more. I wasn't even there for a consultation about my daughters weight. She was just at the same office a few weeks ago for her yearly check up and sport's physical, the other doctor we saw did not make us feel that way. She also told me that she will write the referral but she doubts I will get an appointment anytime soon. Wow thanks! The negativity and lack of education from Dr Randall has made us not want to return. Choose better for your family. read more

Horrible place!! Do not be fooled by the nice exterior or interior. The doctors may car for their patients but their staff is absolutely horribly atrocious. Every time my wife has to go there for an appointment she gets there on time or early and has to wait over a 1/2 in the waiting area and then 45-60 mins in a room waiting to be seen from the doctor. Today my wife went to get a simple signature for medical records our children's new daycare center requires. She set up an appointment and of course when she arrived she was told the doctor left and that no other doctor could sign except for the doctor that had left. I find this amusing considering multiple times we've had appointments with the doctor listed on our child's paperwork only to have another doctor from their many listed doctors come in to see our child. So it's okay for them to send and for our child to receive care from any doctor, but when it comes time to get a simple signature for daycare only the doctor listed can put their signature on it. Total BS!!!!! We will be finding a new doctor and office for sure. DO NOT use this facility or these doctors!!! You've bee. Warned and judging by their 1 or 2 star rating it seems no one appreciates the way this operation is being run! Mean, nasty and unaccommodating group of practitioners and staff that is merely in existence because they bill insurance companies tremendous fees for little to now work! These kind of places is what's wrong with the medical/insurance world all together. Save yourself the time and aggravation and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. read more

The worst customer service by the front staff and the manager. They made an appointment for me change the appointment day and time and did not notify me and I even brought in the appointment reminder with the date and time and no one had an answer for me. They just kept talking to me like I was crazy like I couldn't read what the heck the appointment reminder said after I showed it to several people. This is unacceptable and poor practice! read more

Thanks for wasting my ####### time again! This is not the first time by far, but it may be the last. You called fishing for appointments, and my kids were due, so okay... You set a time of 9:30 for my kids on a Saturday. I work nights and sleep much of the morning, but okay. Set my arm right then to be sure I was there on time. Kids need this, so knock it out at the expense of much needed sleep. Price of being a single dad. I show up to the appointment on time to be told one child's appointment was at 9:15 and would not be able to be seen! First anyone told me about a 9:15 appointment time. I'm just looking around the empty lobby thinking about the number of times over the years that I have been made to wait HOURS waiting to be seen well after I was scheduled. I asked if you could still see them both. You said no. We walked. I'm not waiting around and getting one child seen and then driving back making another appointment waiting to get the other child seen and being made to wait twice for an appointment I showed up to on time. Waste of time, money, and sleep. You could have taken care of this, but you chose not to. This is not the first time I've received poor service (last time you forgot about us in a room for over an hour and a half waiting for covid shots to thaw) and this is so far from the first, second or third time it's happened. I need to look into other providers. read more

First of all, i would like to recognize Dr. Conrad, all medical assistants, and the nurses, especially Connie, so loving, helpful, and GREAT to my kids, i have continued to go here specifically for the care that they give, back staff is awesome! One star because the front office, has been horrid since i have gone there, never greet, seem rude, and they are so slow, Crystal and another front worker are great, but 95% of the time i go here, i have issues with front checking in, checking out took 15 min, i just paid $180 for my child's care, and had to stand there forever, with a 2 year old and 13 month old, i am considering moving to another my Childrens that's how horrible my front desk experience's have been, as a mother to 2 babies, who is spending this amount of money for health care, i shouldn't have to wait there forever, i dread going to the front desk every single time. It's poor patient care at front desk, i have spoke to the manager a couple of times, she is very nice, attentive, and listens, but it's continuing to feel like pulling teeth every time I'm in there. Trying to call up there, i have been on wait times up to 30 min on the phone just trying to schedule an appointment, it's just a stressful process. I wish that front staff could get it together, because i want the continued excellent care the providers give, however, i am highly considering leaving this clinic due to the continued stress the front desk workers make every visit! read more

This used to be an ok enough office but today was terrible for multiple reasons .... mainly the lack of cleanliness and the disrepair of the whole place. It was GROSS! No soap in the bathroom or exam room. Filthy floors. Stained furniture everywhere. Old tape residue on surfaces with gunk clinging to it. Rusty handicap bar in the restroom. Lights were not on or maybe they're not working. I hadn't been there in a year and whooweee. Must be new management. Saw the NP instead of the doctor and i thought i was going in for a yearly well visit for child and got billed for a "sick" visit because we discussed some concerns. That was the icing! I won't be going back!!! When i let the NP know I wouldn't be returning because of how they were operating this office, she shrugged & when it was time to leave she started to say "we will see you next time" and she caught herself and said "well, I guess we won't but take care." More than once I had to tell them what they needed to do as far as care for my child. My child has always been fairly relaxed going there but no today. Even she felt uncomfortable with the place and the people. No bedside manner form the minute we walked in. read more

The Dr is nice, but the stuff are horrible, I took my kid for to the MD Kids for flu shot only, but after let me wait for half an hours, the MA who set us in the patient room told me to fill out a bunch of paperwork since my daughter is a currently patient there, she told me that my kid need to be check up with out notifications, since she already check up one on April, and my daughter see Dr.Shyung for few years since she was born. The MA was too rude to told me that my daughter can't take the flu shot until she come do the check up again in MD Kids! read more

I took our infant here last week for her four month check up. Waited about 20 min, and then had a thorough checkup by the nurse and doctor. Loved Dr. Thompson they gave us a summary of the visit afterward, along with some handouts about things I had questions on. They let me stay in the exam room and nurse my baby after they gave her the vaccines. We'll be back! read more

I've never experienced this level of ineptitude in a professional setting in my entire life. Routinely behind schedule, plan to spend at LEAST an hour waiting for a room. Office staff that is dedicated to doing the absolute bare minimum, they must keep their records in a burning dumpster because all three of my children have had to fill out new patient paperwork multiple times. I refuse to believe anyone comes here out of anything other than necessity. Stay away from this place, save yourself the frustration and drive 30 minutes to literally ANY other doctor. read more

My wife took my children to the doctor because my daughter has pinkeye. While she was in the waiting room, it became clear that my oldest son was very very sick. He was visibly not feeling well and was extremely hot to the touch. They refused to see my son, sent him home with what turned out to be 103° fever. I cannot believe that they refused to see and refused to treat him physically sick child. They are too big, and do not care at all about you as a parent. Good luck trying to get in touch with them after hours, or on the weekend. They are never available. read more

Dr. Jacob has been my now 6 month old daughters pediatrician and it seems like every time I've set an appointment (at least a month and a half before) I get a call a couple of hours before her appointment saying she's not going to be available at the time that their office scheduled us to go In. Ridiculous!! At this point we have only gone in a handful of times she's still so little. And instead of calling and rescheduling with us as her parents, this last time they just went ahead and scheduled for an earlier time without our consent. This is by far the worst pediatric practice I have ever been to. To begin with, my son has been improperly diagnosed on multiple occasions. The worst of which I took him in due to fever, runny nose and cough. I was told his ears and everything looked fine so most likely it was viral. The next day his eyes were oozing and overall he appeared worse. I then took him to an urgent care facility where he was diagnosed with a severe double ear infection as well as an eye infection. Definitley not viral and needed to be treated with antibiotics. And let me remind you, this was the very next day! They are always in a hurry to get you in and out and it really shows in their neglectful diagnoses. Another case where he was misdiagnosed was at a well visit. It was the middle of summer and his face was red due to the heat. The doctor diagnosed him with Parvo virus AKA slapped cheek syndrome. Ok, what? The boy was hot and they just made up some diagnosis. His face was back to normal within an hour. Another thing I would like to shed some light on is, if they tell you they are going to do something, dont count on it. 2 weeks before a well visit to get vaccines I was told they would aquire his shot records from a prior doctor.I showed up the day of his appointment to find they had not done so and refused to vaccinate him. Moral of this story is, this place is awful, the facilty is dirty and the staff is rude and very unhelpful. The only good thing I can say is you can pretty much always get a same day appointment however, youll most likely be seen by a moron. read more

Horrible front desk staff. Our health insurance collapsed, lucky my little one is one healthy baby but my she need her 18m+ vaccine shots so we called in a month and half before her appointment to ask how much we need to pay out of pocket. One staff ensured us that the visit gonna be $108 and $8 for each shot. Then the day of the appointment when we checked in they said $210 and $10 for each shot. I asked why when I called they said the different and she only told me that bc now my daughter is over one. And 1- 2 years old is $210. I assume nb - 1 is $108. Look like they raised $100+ each age. If i have to pay that much, I better off going with a different better pediatric group. read more
