My mother Lilia Corzo has been at St. Anne's for approximately 7 years at the Annex.. Our family has been provided with excellent care! The love, compassion and empathy of the medical, nursing, office staff, CNAS, Activities office is beyond reproach. They are all stars!!!! In addition the facility is spotlessly clean ! Quality of care seemed very good. The rooms are unusually spacious and they are kept quite clean. Nurses and doctors are everywhere at St. Anne's and when they entered rooms I noticed that both nurses and doctors acknowledged the patient and visitors. read more

My mother died in this abusive nursing home. She had bedsores all over her body (her legs were in casts due to the sores and she had a deep wound on her backside) by the time I found out where she was located. They didn't bother to even give her a basic saline drip, but she had a catheter through her urethra, so as to not inconvenience the nursing staff with a diaper change or bath for that matter. She was never moved (you're supposed to move patients every few hours when they have bed sores) to relieve the pressure off of her sores. She wasn't fed and was not given any basic hydration from a saline drip, as I mentioned. I called the police to make a report of this facility, given how extensive her wounds were. The staff removed her hearing aids, and they were lost, so she could no longer hear; she also had another patient's dentures in her personal belongings. I tried to gain guardianship over her, in order to remove her from this abusive nursing home, but she passed away in the most miserable conditions at that facility, before the court could intervene. read more

I was there 2 years ago cause I did a knee replacement. They offered me this facility I do agree the doctors are good and the best part is the physical therapy. They did such a good job with me. I was walking in one in a half weeks. They were so impressed. When I went in for this surfy I said I'm gonna do this and positive As for the food they need to do better. It wasn't good. But I survived. I will be back after second knee replacement this year. read more

Well, after we've been there for three years. The progress for my grandmother has been ok. Nor better nor worst. My grandmother now has chronic bronchitis is currently being managed at best. Due to the pandemic hype, they thought it was covid. Thank goodness it was not. My grandmother has gained quite a bit of weight. She came in at 145lbs; however, she had some aerosol meds for respiratory problems and limited mobility. She's now 177lbs. The new staff is trying their best to keep her moving and walking when they can and are available. The nursing home has followed the CDC guidelines. Today my grandmother is Tripple vaccinated, and St. Annes keeps strict rules for visitors, residents, and staff members. Please know that the best place for any older adult is to be at home. However, the high cost of having 24hour care at home is not financially feasible for every family. read more

If I could give this place ZERO starts. I would. My husband was sent here for skilled nursing (rehab) after open heart surgery. The hospital initially said 2 weeks in skilled nursing and he should be able to go home. Two weeks at St Anne's and he was back in the hospital with pneumonia and declining kidney function. His pressure wound was no where near getting better. They would not let him sit in a chair during the day. Assistance to use the restroom took an hour in many cases. The physical and occupational therapy was nearly non existent. The hospital had him doing stairs before the transfer to St Anne's. After 10 days at St Anne's he still hadn't done one step. Honestly think this place was just looking for the insurance check and was trying to keep him here as long as they could get paid. read more

They treat with respect! But be aware of your relative health. You have to be proactive. People are there to die. My mother went to rehab after a stroke. They gave priority to therapies and not to their well-being. From the first day she came here, she wasn't eating or taking her medications. They assumed that she refused to do it. Guess what! It was because she couldn't swallow. They said that the speech therapist only comes on Saturdays. If I have left her there and not active to take her to the hospital and wait for an oral speech therapist to arrive to evaluate her, my mother could have had a kidney arrest and then the heart. Upon arriving at the hospital they found her well dehydrated, with all the altered levels of poor nutrition, high blood pressure, suffering from pains that they had to be soothed with morphine. read more

This place is HORRIBLE! And tonight confirmed it! I witnessed the nurse take my mothers shower chair from her restroom and leave with it. Later she comes back with the chair and lives it in the bathroom again. Minutes later I go to use the restroom and the stench was unbearable! I look down and the chair and it had fecal matter aka shit left on the chair! So you not only use my mothers shower chair to bathe another patient but the patient shits on it and you don't even clean it?! Really?! Are you kidding me! I just can't with this place. It's sad to see how no one cares. It's sad to see this is what the elderly have to endure on a daily. read more

Horrible place. The toilet seat broke 4 days ago and they have not replaced it. No seat for 4 days is something that cannot be forgiven. Not a place to go for rehab if you care about your family member. They don't reach out for updates like other places and they are basically a nightmare to be at as a patient. read more

I currently have a family member staying at this nursing center and I could not believe what I witnessed. The place was a mess from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out. The care service was terrible, out of all the people that take "care" of my grandfather only one was actually cautious and aware of what next step she should take with my grandfather. The staff in this center lacks basic communication skills with the family of the patient and it sucks. The smell in this place is horrible & when they come in to give your family member a "bath" in bed they leave an enormous mess behind and don't even care to clean it afterwards. I would also like to note that my loved one had been there for days before they gave him any personal care items because I had to psychically ask for them. They also gave my loved one a dirty blanket after they had claimed it was clean but there was dirt stains all over it and a random dried stain. I would not recommend for anyone to put their loved ones into this nursing center because I believe that there ARE better nursing centers with better care service. read more
