I was nervous coming here based on the reviews but I had a great visit at MD Now. Located right off Stirling and 95 in a plaza with Chipotle. The plaza usually is pretty busy in the afternoons but I came in the morning and there was plenty of parking. When I arrived I was greeted by the front desk and filled out the paperwork. The place was very clean inside and the staff were all friendly. There were a few people ahead of me and it was around a 20 minute wait before seeing someone. They checked my vitals, asked some questions and gave my diagnosis as well as a prescription for the meds. Overall had a great experience here. The staff and doctors were all friendly and wasn't too long of a wait before seeing someone. Would definitely come back ! read more

Open on the weekend so that's a plus. However, as a medical professional myself, I found the NP on call to lack any sort of educational experience and bedside manner. I asked a few questions regarding her diagnosis and the treatment plan and she seemed flustered (to put it nicely). I asked about cost for tests and labs and no one would break it down for me so I would be aware prior to ordering them. I went in as I had all signs of the flu, and we were leaving for vacation in a few days. The flu test was inconclusive, and I was told to get a flu test kit and take it again and a note would be left in my file that if it was positive a prescription would be called in. Whole different story today. They want me to come in again, pay another office visit, to get the prescription. read more

Over the last couple of years I've been here three times and have been very impressed each time. Came once during Covid when I was sick. Another time for my son who I thought had broken his finger. And now husband and I came for symptoms that the Minute Clinic's diagnosis and suggestions did not improve. It turns out we have acute bronchitis. The wait was short each time. The clinic was clean and well staffed. Doctors were on staff and were friendly and professional. Always assume these centers will be crummy, but after three visits, I'll return to this one with no hesitations. read more

My wife felt a little ill with some kind of minor allergy, so instead of calling our family doctor wait for 4 hours, we decided to visit this urgent care very close to our house instead. It's an urgent care but they take care most of the medical procedures we get from our family doctors office and more. The good thing is that they accept our medical insurance so we only have to pay out of the pocket co-pay. The prices varies depends on what types of insurance you have. In our case, we just paid $50.00 which is not too bad. The office is brand new located next to Dania Pointe. The office looked very nice and organized. The receptionist help us checked in and the process was super easy and fast. Instead of filling countless paper works by hand, all we had to do is just a few simple entries on the iPad device, which is super cool and neat. We didn't wait for long for us to see the doctor. Since my wife's condition was not severe, the doctors asked us a few questions, explained to us about the conditions and we were done. I personally would just take the medicine for 2 weeks but my wife decided to take a shot and take less medications. What can I say, I am scared of needles...LOL!. Overall this is a very nice facility for a medical office. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I hope I don't get sick but if something comes up, this will be our go-to place. read more

Terrible. After being seen after 2 hours, the doctor was informed that I am allergic to penicillin and they still prescribed amoxicillin. When I went to the pharmacy they informed us what the doctor prescribed. So now I have been trying to call the Urgent care office and they don't answer! The main office cant help and said to just keep calling. I have called over 20 times where it rings and rings and then disconnects you. How frustrating and I am not feeling well. Terrible! So now I am just signing on to teledoc and paying more money out of my pocket. So not go here. If you do you better make sure that you don't need to call them back. read more

A pretty normal place like any other, with doors opening when you pull or push on them and a floor you can walk on without falling through. The air is pleasant inside, lower in temperature than the outside climate, which makes for a mildly enjoyable experience. Almost everyone I encountered here spoke English clearly. Lack of electricity didn't seem to be a problem as all of the lights appeared to be working correctly, and I noticed some type of radio playing music in the background. The computers were all on. I could definitely live here but don't think it's that kind of place. Once inside, there are no windows, just different doors leading to separate climate controlled compartments. You are assigned a compartment in which you will wait for the man. The man comes in to tell you what's wrong, then leaves. read more

Was having a health issue today and I went to Md now urgent care at 1780 stirling road across from the oakwood plaza and next door to Chipole. From the minute I walked in I was greeted and attended too. The nurse was friendly and knowledgeable and the PA was wonderful. I waited no less than 5 minutes and when you are feeling sick waiting makes you feel worse. Prescriptions were called in promptly and Im on my way to feeling better. Yes I give this place a ten. It is decorated beautifully as well very pleasing to the eyes. They are open 8am to 8 pm seven days a week. read more

This place is a joke. I went in with Covid symptoms they sent me to the hospital. Dr stated "blood clot in the lung" as soon as I left I want to a cvs and got 5 Covid test. All came back positive. This is my first time coming here and had a great experience. I am a plumber and had a deep laceration to my index finger. I only waited about two minutes in the waiting room. They were very fast with x-ray and administering a tetanus shot. I was there for about a total of 30 minutes The doctor took care of my wound and give me some extra bandages and antibacterial cream. I am really happy with the speed and quality of the service. Will be my new place of urgent care. All tge other places ive been to take for ever. read more

I went in for a drug test for a new job and first the staff gave me a experience drug test kit then told me I had to come back and do it again, after explaining to her I took the day off and I can't take anymore time off, I then had to sit for a hour while she contacted corporate, she ended up being able to submit the test, ONLY FOR THEM TO LOOSE THE TEST, I get a email weeks later stating they lost my test! On Friday august 19th I went to the Stirling rd, dania beach location because my husband and I had gotten severe mold exposure which caused breathing issues. While there the PA didn't ask me about any of the medicines I'm on (also didn't ask my husband either and it turns out if we hadn't brought it up again there would've been an interaction with one of his meds). The dr came in and it was clear she was still learning...which in general is fine but she was more interested in my earrings than checking my lungs. She touched my ears and earrings multiple times to the point where I felt uncomfortable. Once we left the room and went up to the counter the PA was behind one computer and the DR was behind another computer and they began filling out our charts simultaneously and kept having to ask the other to sign out so they could do something in the one the other was working on. This felt like they weren't taking the time needed to ensure our information was right. They were also talking very loudly about our medical issues and before I could say anything, the dr informed me that we were the only ones there so no one could hear anyway. While waiting we noticed a large hole in the ceiling with clear water damage to the point that paint was melting off the wall in two places. We were finally told we were all set and that our prescriptions were sent in to our pharmacy so we left. The next day, Saturday aug 20, cvs called me to let me knew that the single most important prescription of the 3 had been written incorrectly and that the dr hadn't been responding to their inquiries and told me that I should try to call them. This MDNOW location in dania beach on Stirling rd had already closed for the day so I had to wait until this morning, which is Sunday august 21. 2 1/2 days after I went in with breathing problems and desperately needed albuterol for the nebulizer I have at home. The person I spoke to at the dania beach location was rude and unhelpful. Her whole attitude reflected that she thought this was my fault. At first she told me there wasn't anything she could do because the dr who wrote the prescription wasn't at that location today. Then she told me that she could find out where that dr was working and I myself could track her down there and see if she would change it. This is where I got upset and informed her that it was in appropriate to have me have to track a dr down who made a mistake and that they should have a dr there that could look at my chart and correct the issue. She had a huge attitude and rudely told me she'd take my name and get back to me when she could if I would let her get off the phone to do her job. Im STILL waiting for a resolution and I STILL do not have the meds I need...which means I will probably end up at the ER at some point soon because my breathing is only getting worse and the rescue inhaler I have isn't working enough. We will never be returning to this location and will be contacting the state medical board. read more

The place is very very clean, they have water available at the front, lollipops for the kids, very friendly with amazing staff. Only downside tonight they only had 1 doctor and the wait took 2.5 hours per patient, so I heard this never happened before from other patients that were there before. We went to get the booster from J&J. Scary thing was the needle was not opened in front of us, and we never saw them filling the shot with the vaccine in front of us. It was already done in another room. And brought to us. The doctor was super friendly very professional, did the whole check to make sure we were not sick before. And the nurse was also super friendly. Everything is 5 stars, except the premise vaccines was brought, and not show to us which we are used to when we got our first one. Normally they are supposed to show us what they are putting in to our body and needle needs be opened in front from package to prove it's lean and sealed. I got there ten min earlier to fill out papers and to be on time for my apt that was at 12 pm I had to wait one hour and fifteen minutes the attitude with the lady on the counter is really bad only laughing on the phone and when I asked for an estimated waiting time all she said is we only have one doctor and is with other patients, what kind of answer is that to a sick person!
