Went in with a very bad cat bite, prescribed RX, told to come back in two days, I did, prescribed a different medication. MDNow does not have IV antibiotics. On either visit I was not told how to properly clean this cat bite. I decided to try a different Urgent Care. They hooked me up to IV antibiotics, called an abundance to transfer me to the hospital for emergency surgery to save my finger. It took me two weeks to get me medical records from MDNow and now I see their bill does not show my payments. Polite, but there is a reason why these people can not get jobs at an ER. Front desk cannot competently do little other than say hello. Doctors have to "look it up" when treating and tech/manager is the tail that wags the dog! Had to chase them for results, after they apparently lost my specimen. Then they could not explain why it was not available on app, telling me to come in if I wanted a copy. They would not forward the material. I do not plan on returning and urge you to go to a real ER if you need medical attention. read more

Went there for stitches for a cut on my forehead in October. They used old timey sutures, which I didn't even know they used anymore. As such they made me go back for 2 follow ups. First was in 2 days for literally less than 5 minutes for them to look and say "yep looks good". Then 2 weeks later for them to pull the sutures out with a pair of tweezers, which took about 10 minutes. Well...MD Now charged A SECOND $75.00 copay for the 5 minute follow up, (without notifying me - they just went on their own and charged my credit card) then ANOTHER $75.00 for the 10 minutes they spent removing the sutures. Of course I called KNOWING this was a mistake. Doctors don't charge for follow-up visits for existing concerns, at least I've never heard of it, or experienced it. "No worries we'll fix it". Well that was a LIE. I paid THREE co-payments of $75 for ONE issue, and have been told I will NOT be refunded the overcharge(s). Nice people, but whoever makes the financial decisions is a scam artist. I realized why they didn't use the dissolvable stitches which have been the standard for decades. But they did so in order to make me come back two more times, and charge me. If you use MD Now, make sure you know what they're going to charge you for, because for one they won't tell you, and they'll do whatever it takes, even if it's unethical to make a buck. I emailed the company directly via their corporate email. I received a paper letter in the mail this past weekend making it official, they refuse to do the right thing, so instead of paying $75.00, I would up paying that PLUS another $150.00 for essentially, nothing. The Dr., and I'm not even sure if he even was a Dr. spent all of about 30 seconds with me, asking me one question, and then OK, I'll call in some antibiotics", and then walked out of the room to never be seen again. Then one of the assistants is punching in an iPad asking me for my pharmacy. I was very specific with the name and location, but just had a feeling that something was off. Well, after about 3 hours I call the pharmacy only to find out that there is no RX called in. After calling MD Now back and waiting on hold forever, I was told "OK, we'll call it in now". I was trying to get in shape and participated in a very fun glow run on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, I had a spider on my ankle that decided to go along with me! The spider bite did not give me superpowers like the comic book had promised but it did give me cellulitis! It started out as a small swelling and then got so painful it was hard to even walk. I left work and decided to come here since it was brand new and close by. The lobby is so comforting and clean. All of the staff was extremely friendly and professional. They took my insurance but I think I still had to pay out of pocket a little but It was much better than waiting forever in the emergency room. The doctor was very funny and realistic with me. I usually come here and have no problems being seen promptly but this morning was a different story. I was having an issue that needed medical attention and it had me up since 3 am. I waited till 8 am and told the receptionist I would only pay if I could be out within a half hour since I had to open a business at 9am. I tested positive for Covid at home. Went to this location Sunday 2/19/23 and was seen by Dimitri Cordova Caballero, MD. I tested positive at the office. I explained my symptoms - coughing,runny nose, body aches, earache, congestion, chills and sweats. I told the doctor I was taking Mucinex & DayQuil. Dr. Caballaro told me to go home continue to take Mucinex and in 3 days I would feel better. 6 days later I am still sick and not feeling any better. I asked for Paxlovid at my appointment on Sunday. I was told no. I questioned the doctor and he told I didn't need it. I told him my husband and father both have Covid and are on Paxlovid. He said no. 6 days later I am in the office seeing a different doctor and being told they are sorry they can't help me because I should have been given Paxlovid. I met all the criteria for Paxlovid but Caballero did not treat. I am still sick and out of work. This doctor has caused me more sickness and more time out of work. How long will I be sick because of doctor caballeros negligence? Once I recover I will update the review. read more

The nurse decided to take all patients to the "back" and not put them in order of arrival/wait time. This is my second review for the same urgent care center. I saw Dr. May yesterday and gave them 5 stars. I was tested for the flu which came back positive. He gave me a shot of toradol which he said would work wonders... I felt nothing!! I'm taking tamiflu and he also said he was calling in a cough suppressant and it ended up to be an OTC drug that my husband had to wait for. I wanted my X-rays but couldn't get them. Left without my dr note which I asked many times and had to go back for. I liked the doctor but maybe the office needs to come together, I was the only one there at that time!! read more

I walked in today with my dad who was also sick. We both had flu symptoms. I was pretty shooken up, and had a lot of anxiety because I had 102 fever and 2 final exams scheduled today. The nurse was so kind and attentive, and assured me that everything would work out and I would feel better soon. She even gave me a bouquet of lolipops in honor of my upcoming graduation from college! The doctor was fast and attentive and got us in and out pretty quick. Very bad service and lack of knowledge when it comes to insurance. Sadly to say instead of learning to try other ways to verify insurance they rather lose a patient since they can't seem to understand how insurances work. Never will I recommend anyone to go. I went in as said I was having ear problem. I told her there was fluid in my ear. She did a test and said there wasn't and if there was she would see it. She said I had a fungal infection and to take these drops 4x a day for 7 days. Not only did I not have a fungal infection, I now have a blockage of fluid behind the ear that's been there the whole time. I paid a $70 co pay to be misdiagnosed. I visited MD Now at 2502 N state Rd 7 on August 23, 2022, the receptionist was amazing and her interaction with other patients in the waiting room was heartfelt and increased my comfortability. She was well knowledgeable and invited me back to address concerns if needed. The transition to the back was swift where Nurse Robert who respected my wishes to social distance despite reassurance. Nurse Robert picked up on my discomfort and provided patient care with integrity and respect. Nurse Robert walked me through the process which increase my comfort. Nurse Robert listened to my concerns and went over and beyond within his scope to rule out health concerns. However, on August 25, 2022, I returned to the clinic due to my symptoms worsening and Dr. Rafael Carlos Crespo took the time to listen to my concerns that I have a history of chronic bronchitis and viewed me from a holistic lens and understood how it may exacerbate my symptoms. Dr. Rafael Carlos Crespo was proactive and took preventive measures to ensure my symptoms would not turn into a "crisis." I left the clinic feeling well informed and confident about my aftercare discharge plan. That was an amazing dynamic trio, and the health care system needs more workers like you guys.
