I've been here twice recently and the office staff are very helpful. The place is nothing fancy but the care is excellent. I saw one of the doctors and a nurse practitioner and both were thorough with their treatment plans. I will definitely be back in the future. Hours are not accurate on their website nor on google. I showed up on a Thursday at about 6:40pm. Google said they are open till 8:00pm, their website says 7:00pm. When I walked in I was immediately told we're closed. I pointed out that it says otherwise on the website. The person behind the desk pointed at the door and said "no look at that sign on the door, we take our last patient at 6:30pm". Website stated hours were until 7:00 pm. Arrived at 6:23 on a Monday afternoon. Walked in and was told by the Dr. that they had just closed. When I mentioned the website said they were open until 7:00 pm, she proceeded to tell me on Mondays they closed at 6:30. I stated it wasn't 6:30 yet and she repeated that they had just closed and refused to see my daughter. This used to be a great Urgent Care when Dr. Soot was there. Arrived. No one in waiting room. Filled out papers then moved to another waiting room. After 45 min of waiting I asked if there was an update to how much longer. They told me another 30 min at least. WTF. Not one person walked in while we were waiting so this is eirther the slowest "quick " urgent or There is a back entrance. Had we known it would be 1.5 hours for a "quick walk in " place I would have walked out and gone somewhere else in a second. we are here for only a sports physical Never will be back here !! read more

To start off they were late getting there to open while a line had formed outside. After waiting and then giving my id and insurance they refused to see my son because his chest was hurting from coughing from an upper respiratory infection. Building was also very dingy and dirty looking. Ended up having to take a very sick kid to another location to receive care. Would never return to this place . read more

Not that anyone ever wants to be sick... but when I am I come to Quick Family Urgent Care. I've never had a long wait, I think because of the location so it's worth the drive! They have great Dr.'s although the first one I really loved passed away :( I find the front staff efficient and friendly. They also have an in office pharmacy so you don't have to make another stop and wait in another line when your not feeling well. Also have had urine tests and results in minutes at this location. I know my regular Dr may be upset she referred me to go to the ER today, I just really feel more comfortable here. read more

I'm posting this for my daughter who does not have an account. Misdiagnosed, Misquoted the Charge and Caused Significant Unneeded Pain If it was possible to give negative or zero stars, this facility would get them. I walked in and was quoted $22 plus the wrong medication that they prescribed. Contrary to the results of the immediate lab test, they misdiagnosed a UTI and prescribed medication including an over the counter medication that they also sold to me. I was told that my cost after insurance would be $22 plus the medication. In reality, I was charged significantly more and even after the insurance company reductions, my cost was still more than triple what was quoted. That would be bad, but it got far worse. After days of not getting relief from the antibiotics I called back and I did not have a UTI. I had a kidney stone that became so painful that it necessitated an emergency room visit. The ER at Memorial West was able to diagnose the kidney stone, but had a proper diagnosis been made (or at least been told this was beyond the clinics capabilities), I would have been much better prepared for the pain with pain killers already prescribed, and knowledge about what was happening. This misdiagnosis caused hours of intense pain that could have at least been partially mitigated had a proper diagnosis been made. Competent physicians immediately recognized that this was not a UTI. Adding further insult to injury, a lab this facility it uses billed over $1,000 for a urinalyses. The insurance company denied this billing and informed me that "balance billing" was illegal and I was not responsible. It is possible that the facility did not know about the billing practices of the lab, but as a patient, I can't help but wonder. This facility misdiagnosed, misquoted the charge and caused me to endure needless intense pain. I will never return. read more

There's nothing urgent or quick about Quick Family Urgent Care. We have been waiting over Two and a Half hours. Once they get your co-pay you just wait and wait and wait. They have only one provider this place is very poorly managed and they have no consideration for their Patients. read more

So disappointing Dr Sood! Your office help is incompetent and I see where your priorities are. My family has gone to you for urgent care for years. So when I was in a serious car accident it was a no brainer to go to you for care. I filled out the thirty pages of paperwork including workman's comp, auto insurance, and personal insurance information. I made it very clear to the front desk that I had a Workman's Comp claim number but the person assigned to my case would not be in until Monday. The biller came out and said not to worry. If workman's comp did not go through, they wound bill auto, then personal. I waited 2 hours while Dr. Sood skipped me to take other patients. When I I finally asked what was going on the woman at the front desk told me they were still waiting for authorization. I walked out. Then the front desk person followed me to my car and said that without authorization the only place I could go was the ER. Perhaps she should have told me that when I first arrived instead of letting me stew for 2 hours? Perhaps the biller could have provided accurate information? And really Dr. Sood, I am in business so I understand you do not run a free clinic and you need to be paid. However, I am a patient who has been to you multiple times and you have always been paid. Besides the Workman's Comp claim, I have automobile insurance and medical insurance. And yet you ignore my room and let me sit in pain. So sad that a talented physician is so uncaring and only sees dollar signs in their eyes. read more

So, overall *my* experience with the doctor wasn't terrible. However, there were a few things that turned me off very much and I will not be returning here because of them. 1.) The doctor/owner should be absolutely ASHAMED of himself for the way he speaks to/treats his staff. The place is small and it's very easy to hear through walls and doors. He kept rudely barking at them, nitpicking them, and aggressively telling them that "everything you do is supposed to make my life easier" and that "one of you needs to stay with me at all times" and "do you want to tell this man how we wasted his time? You're gonna do that, because I didn't need to see him. I only need to see complex lacerations" It was absolutely disgusting to hear the way he talked them during the 2ish hours that I was there. I low key asked one of the girls if he spoke to them like that all the time...she quietly, through some tears, said "you have no idea." His staff was very polite and helped fix an error that was made on some paper work, and were polite throughout my visit. He on the other hand seemed to treat them like his personal punching bags. I don't care how much stress you're under, there was no excuse for the way he spoke to them. He literally talked to them like they were bad dogs that had just peed on the floor. 2.)we are in the middle of a pandemic and he insisted one not wearing his mask for a portion of my time with him because it was "hard to speak and breathe and I talk a lot". The second time I saw him, he had his mask only covering his mouth, not his nose. I didn't even know what to say about that. 3.) the doctor kept talking over me when I tried to tell him What was wrong with my ankle. He kept blabbering on about how many bones are in the foot and wouldn't listen to me when I told him that the pain was a little higher up in my ankle and leg. This led to my high ankle sprain (diagnosed correctly after getting a second opinion) being misdiagnosed by Dr. Sood as something else, with damage being far worse than what he suggested. Like I said, overall, he was relatively nice to me (even if he did not actually listen to me and insisted on not wearing a mask while we are at the height of a deadly pandemic). But as soon as he left the room, he would immediately start barking at his staff. That just isn't the kind of person/business that I want to support. I hope the women that all work there at least get an apology from the doctor for what I heard today...no on, and I mean NO ONE, should have to endure that kind of treatment from their employer. And no patient should have to deal with a doctor that won't listen to them. read more

I came in due to a sore throat and hoarse voice, Fara the nurse gave me EXACTLY the tests I asked for and was so nice and helpful. She was very gentle with my first covid test and it was barely even uncomfortable! I really appreciate the whole staff but Fara was really standout!! read more

I needed someone to clean ear wax from my 90 year old Mom's ears. The blockage was causing hearing loss and no audiologist could test her without the removal. It was amazing how few places are willing to do this. Thankfully, Quick Family Urgent care stepped up and took care of us. It was difficult and, being 90, so was the patient. Farah exhibited extreme kindness and patience. She was gentle and caring. It is, in fact, a somewhat painful extraction when it is so impacted. As a walk-in service, I can highly recommend this facility and their services. read more

I wished I read feedback before I dropped in with my 3 years old son. Mr Ajay Sood is the most unprofessional physician I met in my life. My son needed 3 stitches on his chin due to swimming pool accident. The receptionist in the office told me that he worked as emergency physician and specializes in kids urgent care. Anyway here is my feedback: This guy had zero social skills. He observed my son's chin within 6 inches without mask during the worst crisis of COVID epidemics in Florida and was very offended when I asked him to put his mask on. The guy has zero approach and experience to young kids and toddlers. He dropped his instruments while putting stitches, didn't prepared anything during procedure. Not sure where he did his residency or went to Med School, probably in Banana republic. I had many times stitches were put on me but this guy was slow, not technical and most importantly had no compassion for crying baby. Anyway I can write much more about my negative experience at this office on the strip mall but just don't want to waste my time. read more

My boyfriend took me to this Urgent Care after a long, sleepless night of tossing and turning coupled with wheezing on my part. I'd say we probably arrived around 1 or 2pm. There were patients there before us but when we set foot into the place, it had been empty. The facility was clean and as we casually walked over to the counter, we were greeted by a cheery receptionist. He gave us the general run down on the levels of emergencies along with their prices and gave me a few forms to fill out. After giving the receptionist the forms, we weren't kept waiting for very long because my name was called out just a few minutes later. The nurse who brought us to one of the private rooms was charismatic and bubbly. It brightened my day. It didn't take the doctor long for him to diagnose me. He told me I had bronchitis, gave me my medications and just like that we were off to go get some food as we were starving. I highly recommend this place to those of you who don't have insurance yet or even if you do, to come here. The facility is well kept, the staff are vibrant and the doctors know what they're doing. read more

Good: designated parking and no wait on Sunday morning Bad: staff service I visited due to positive reviews for Dr. Sood. My visit was on Sunday morning so I arrived before they opened to avoid a long wait. Several staff went in and locked the door stating they will open in a few minutes. I decided to check phone while waiting and didn't realized they opened. When I walked in I asked when they opened and if they did not see me waiting and the front desk staff said she just was talking to the other employee when she unlocked the door. Dr. Sood was not there so I can't speak on him but with that experience I probably would not return. This was my first visit to an urgent care facility in FL. But I have gone in the VI and NY and was treated with courtesy and professionalism. read more

These are the greatest people giving the greatest personal service and one stop testing,xrays and professional expertise I haven't seen since the days of when you had that family doctor who could take one look at you and know what you needed. Excellent price and service! Recommend! I thought I hurt my foot badly to the point where I could no longer walk and it was in excruciating pain. It was swelling up and I immediately knew something was wrong. Note: I am an athletic individual in my late 20's without health insurance. Quick Family Urgent Care helped me within 30 minutes of arrival. I took an X-ray verifying I had a twisted ankle, the doctor gave me resting instructions, a prescription, an ankle wrap and the office provided me with crutches. I was out in less than two hours and for less than $300. That's amazing considering it included an X-ray and the fact that it's in Miami/Ft Lauderdale! I have made a full recovery. I recommend this office and will use them again next time I have a problem. Confirming: Free check up within 3 days of visit. Staff was kind and professional! read more

I've always fantasized about rescuing damsels in distress. I've happen to have rescued my fair share of them but none of them so far have been the much desired Brazilian/Mediterranean archetype I've visualized. But one day the tables were turned, on this day the moon was shining on me and instead of me doing the rescuing I was the one being rescued. So I got food poisoning and was incapacitated for 30 + straight hours. When I had enough strength I passed by my acupuncturist for treatment. But when my acupuncturist felt my fever she advised me if my fever didn't subside by the following day to go to a "western doctor". I heard a little voice inside of my head say " if you don't go now, you're not going to wake up tomorrow or "ever" to be able to go. That's where Savanna M comes in. I remembered reading a glowing review she wrote for an Urgent Care, which also lead my other friend Joan L. there for treatment (I think Joan caught her nose in a door?). So I texted Savanna M. for the name and address of the urgent care she wrote the glowing review for and she sent me "Quick family urgent care's" yelp page and address. Quick family urgent care is actually located down the street from Doctors Xpress, a place that I had went to previously. For a moment I thought about just going to a place I already knew but I stuck with my gut feeling went to Quick family urgent care . Within minutes of signing in and filling out the paperwork, I was lead inside and doing the pre-check up & urology with the doctors assistant. When the Dr. Sood who's also the owner of the clinic arrived, he informed me I not only had a fever through the roof, but that I had contracted viral food poisoning and I was also severely dehydrated causing a prolonged fever. The dude spent about 20 minutes with me explaining everything from what exactly is going on to exactly how I can regain my health and strength in the shortest time possible. The Dr. also gave me a printout which included the temporary diet I must follow and treatment instructions. Oddly he gave me some gatorade which within minutes brought down my temperature. The Doctor also recommended he send off my urology sample to be further tested, he gave me a prescription for 3 drugs, two of which they could issue in the office for free. I thought it to be super convenient for them to be a mini-pharmacy while also being a clinic. The whole process was prompt professional courteous and very informative. I am also pleasantly surprised about how personal the service at this clinic was, you definitely don't feel like you're on a conveyor belt. read more

Tracy was an incredible nurse practitioner. I mean INCREDIBLE, very educated, very experienced,very skilled, awesome at teaching, experience in pain management as well as anesthesia, incredible bedside manner. And hilarious. She is the ideal health practitioner. Love her to death. She saved my life. I went here for an incision and drainage of an abscess that I had, I wouldn't go anywhere else from now on. I know that there's some bad reviews on here regarding other MDs, I can't speak for the other doctors but Tracy the ARNP is sent from heaven, if you have any type of abscess or wounds she's the person to see. I am forever so grateful and thankful for this clinic and they also do follow ups as well which I really appreciate. 10/10 read more

I hate calling out other places in my reviews, but after a disappointing visit to the CVS Minute Clinic I remembered this awesome Urgent Care and drove the 30 minutes to come here. Since it was Black Friday I called first to make sure they were open, and they told me to come right in. It had been a few years since I had been here so new paperwork was in order and I was promptly shown to a room. Surprisingly there were quite a few other patients waiting (I figured everyone would still be at Walmart trying to get a deal) but the waiting area moved quickly and I was grateful. After some quick vitals and a Strep A test I was left alone for a few minutes before the doctor came in. Once in the room the doctor showed me that my Strep A test had come back positive (mind you it didn't at the Minute Clinic because they are hopeless) and we discussed my options. She said regardless of my test results it was pretty obvious to her I had strep based on my symptoms and was happy to get me started on pain killers, antibiotics and steroids due to excessive inflammation. As I mentioned in my previous review, they are able to dispense some medications here (I still had to go to Publix to get the pain killer filled) and I was happy to get those antibiotics in my system ASAP. Yes, I know common antibiotics are free at Publix, but when you're in this much pain you're happy to shell out $10 to get the course started immediately. Again, still not sure how the copays are handled here, but I was charged $30. Less than my card dictates for an urgent care, and more than it dictates for a Primary Care, but again, not complaining in the least!! No more Minute Clinic for me, I'll only be driving here for my medical needs! read more

I was in to see the doctor on Friday. She was wonderful. It was $125 as self pay and I was ok with that. They tested me for COVID and it came back positive. The doctor prescribed some medicine and told me to come back today, Monday to follow up and get re-tested. Now the office tells me that just to test for COVID it is $150. I would have even been ok to pay the normal $75 follow up fee. Probably they are just pocketing the money for anyone willing to pay them for the test. The whole country, urgent cares, pharmacies, private organizations all give the test for free because the government is reimbursing. I think they are ripping people off. read more

Thanks to fellow yelpers, I gave this quick clinic a try, and I'm so glad I did. I've been here twice in the past two weeks (first time for my son and second time for myself), and both times we have been in and out with all the knowledge needed to get better. About a quick 5 minute wait in the lobby - which goes by even faster since they have a TV in the waiting area! Although I didn't go in, I walked by a large room that looked like a play area for kids. The place is clean and welcoming. Dr. Lisa was gentle and soft-spoken so my toddler son had no issue following every command she asked him to do. I met with Dr. Sood a few weeks later, and found him very knowledgable and helpful as well. Both times, we were given print outs of what to do next time, and I never felt rushed. Even the nurses take their time to listen as well. Dr Sood mentioned that his clinic offers a free follow up within 3 days, which is pretty rare in these parts. They definitely deserve 5 stars, and a space for their card on my refrigerator! read more

What an amazing team! Dr. sood and his team calmed me down after an accident at work which required 10 stitches. Dr. Sood Did a great job with my stitches. I just left the clinic after my follow up and the stitches are not infected and I am not bruising. Amazing! I highly recommend this clinic. I wish they had one in Miami. read more

Awesome care!!! I had a very serious injury and had to go back almost every day for a week. The level was of care and great side manner by Doctor Sood is outstanding. It's humanized Medicine! The good: the staff. The women that work there are friendly. The bad: waited forever because the doctor was late. Got there at 8:45, didn't see the doctor until 10:45. Definitely not quick. I would have maybe been more understanding if the doctor apologized for his delinquency. Lastly, the doctor talks so fast, it's kind of hard to decipher what he's saying. Simply one of the best experiences I have ever had at a doctor's office - period! I was very sick and came in. The male receptionist explained everything to me and I was seen quickly. The Hispanic nurse took my vitals (103 fever) and then made a nice little bed for me on the examination table and covered me with a paper gown so I could stay warm and sleep during my wait. The doctor (white lady, I think) came in after what seemed like a longer wait and examined me. She wrote several prescriptions for me, one of which was filled at the clinic. Then I paid and left. After a few hours I started to feel better. Everyone was so incredibly nice to me while I was there. I made a world of difference in my whole experience. Side note: I am well aware it's not "P.C." to identify the staff by their skin color, I just want everyone to know how incredibly kind the nurse was. I was so sick that I never asked for any names and just slept until I was seen, but the kindness and compassion that was shown to me will stay with me forever and I wanted to share this moment of humanity with the Yelp community. read more

This location says it's open until 5pm on Saturdays but when I arrived with my little one at 4:55 with an emergency, they were already closed. I understand we were close to closing time, but don't advertise a closing time for an urgent care center when parents are looking for care URGENTLY at the nearest location possible. Just stick to your posted hours. Took my child to Nicklaus Children's Urgent Center instead and will from now on. read more
