Read reviews and thus was a little concerned that my visit would be less than I wanted/needed... this caution was totally unnecessary. From the start, check in was smooth and cordial. There was no "line" of patients at 5:45 pm. "Take a seat" was soon followed by a nurse (Cyerra) who took my vitals, and then a short wait until greeted warmly by Zena (sp?) who asked pertinent questions in order to diagnose my pain and determine the appropriate Rx. Zena was 5 stars. She did not hurry but was patient with my self-reporting of other pertinent (or not pertinent) diseases. She also appended to my Rx a booklet of exercises to help rehab the muscles. We walked in just before closing - we were expecting the worse but the staff was kind. I would have like to been with my husband in triage because he doesn't like to disclose everything and I'm not sure he was capable of letting them know eveverything because he was so sick. - I know nurses don't like interference from others but sometimes when a patient is compromised it is helpful - we are there to help. The Dr. was kind and took him more seriously then the other MD Now we had been to the day before. The bad part was he ended up in the ER the next day with bilateral pneumonia which neither MD Now caught. This one at least put him on an antibiotic. The other one the day before said to take cough syrup. The front desk policies are rough.. they don't care about insurance - just about collecting. I now it's not the people..it's about the corporation but it still sucks. Giving this location a 3 because they let us in and at least gave him antibiotics. Palms West admitted him stat. My experience in the facility was fine and I was in and out. The annoyance came after. I found out I was allergic to the first medication they prescribed me so I called to see if I could get an alternative. They said yes and that they sent it to my pharmacy. I go to the pharmacy and they don't have anything. I call again and they say they've sent it but they'll resend it. Okay, annoying but no big deal. I call Publix a couple of hours later when I'm available and they still don't have it. MD Now is now closed. I call again when they open in the morning and they #1 had the worst customer service throughout the whole experience and didn't care that I wasn't getting my prescription and #2 the man I talked to then told me he didn't know when they would send the prescription because "it's a different doctor today and he's busy." Meanwhile, every person I'm talking to is telling me that they'll resend it. Somehow it got sent on time for the first prescription then suddenly the pharmacy stopped getting them? I doubt it. I then call them hours later to see if they filled it and I'm able to talk to the doctor or someone in management (they didn't tell me their title) and she had great customer service and told me she filled it. Every time I called, they confirmed the location of the pharmacy. I finally get a text saying my prescription is ready and I show up to the pharmacy and they sent it to the wrong location. The pharmacy was thankfully able to cancel it and fill it at the right location but it was insane getting it filled. read more

The staff is horrible and wasted my time! I called before I even went in to see if they did full blood panels. Gentleman who answered said yes they do. I checked in virtually, then drove over. When I got there, before I filled out paperwork, I asked the lady at the desk if they did full blood panels and she said yes they did. I proceeded to fill out all the necessary paperwork. After paperwork was completed, she called me up and said they do not do full blood work ups, only specific blood work for STDs, sickness etc. I wasted an hour in transportation and time filling out paperwork for nothing. Arrived and checked in at 4pm for eye irritation my son was having. There was no one in the lobby when we arrived. There's been little to no communication between the front desk and I. We were all checked in at 4:15pm and waited till 6:30pm to be brought back. We are currently sitting in a waiting area in the back after being seen by the intake nurse and the doctors yet to come by. It's now 7pm and my husband and I are convinced that we've been forgotten about. The inconvenience defeats the purpose of this facility. I approached Patty the nurse practitioner while standing outside my rooms door and mentioned how I've been here for hours and she walked away with zero reassurance and responded with " I HAVE BEEN TOO ". This place is terrible. If you're sick, GO SOMEPLACE ELSE ! My sister was not feeling well so i drove her here. She's new to the area and doesn't have a primary care doctor, and my primary didn't have any openings. She goes in by herself and i wait in the car. She said the receptionist was rude and just told her to have a seat. The doctor sees her and his prognosis is a sore throat and gives her antibiotics. Wrong ! I got food poisoning and I was pretty sure I was going to die. My fiance called and made an appointment for me to head to MD Now instead of the hospital. I was quickly checked in and brought back. The staff was excellent, they really did their best to take care of me and make me comfortable. The IV was the best I've ever gotten, I didn't even feel it go in. They allowed me to stay in their medical room for 4 hours, just getting fluids. The facility was very clean too. This is a great place to go if you are trying to avoid the hospital. read more

I give the Doctor 5 stars out of 5. I went in for an infection and she applied something to numb the area. Told me every thing she was doing. That this will hurt and it did and that she is not moving the needle around , it felt like she was, it is just the Novicain like the dentist Great doctor. She packed my wound in lieu of stitches and asked is there anyone who could help me? The infection is located on my back and proceeded to give me four large bandage, I was supposed to receive instructions to change the bandages. Either I forgot to take them or they were never provided to me. So I called the office to have the emailed to me. She said she could not email the to me. Must be a matter of National Security. Now I have to drive 30 mins pick up the instructions so my wife can change the bandage because, the person who would not email me the instructions. read more

My daughter had to wait 2 1/2 hours just to get checked in, then had to wait another 2 hours to get in the office to be tested for covid. After the test was completed they left her in the room for another hour for a doctor to walk in to ask if she had questions. I had used this spot before, and had a good experience. This time, The doc who saw me barely took and time and was gone before I could ask any questions at all. The initial report was missing what meds he perscribed. The MD Now portal is terrible. Had to go through five screens to get the report. X-rays were taken, I asked to see them. All they did was hand me a CD. I wanted to discuss it with the doc. Went back two days later because it was getting worse. The PA who saw me this time was WAY BETTER than the doc. With her direction, the problem is resolving. I most likely will seek a different Urgent Care Service if I need medical help. read more

This place is possibly the single worst urgent care I've ever been to - I'd heard negative things about it, but given that I was feeling terrible I gave it a try. I did a "Tele health" thing the day before so I already had an antibiotic prescription, but given that my throat felt worse today I figured it wouldn't hurt to get a 2nd opinion. I made an appointment, but I was told that didn't matter - it's first come first serve. Then what is the point of having an online appointment system??? After that, however, I was told that I would be called next when I asked for a rough estimate of time, since I was thinking of getting a smoothie from next door to soothe my throat. Next didn't sound too bad, so I decided to forgo that idea only to then wait an hour while they called 4 other people before me. So much for being next. I was finally called, and the nurse took me back and took my vitals, then took me to an exam room. After sitting in there for 30 minutes, I went to ask if they forgot about me, and they say they did not I'll just have to be patient as they are busy today. I was slightly irritated at this reply, as I had been patient, but mentioned that I had been told that I was next otherwise I would have killed the time getting that smoothie, as it is now 4pm and I hadn't eaten at all today due to my throat. With snark, she replied that she'd said, "I *think* you are next" - yeah, no you didn't. I went back into the exam room waited another 15 minutes, now 45 minutes waiting in the exam room, 2 hrs total, and so I decided to leave. There was no indication that I would be seen anytime soon when I asked again, so I got my copay refunded and left. If she had only been up front when I asked for a rough estimate on the wait time, I may not be so annoyed right now, but when I'm told that I will be called next I don't expect to wait for 2+ hours. It's sad as this is the closest urgent care to my house, but there are others less then 5 minutes further that I can go see. The nurses and doctors are friendly enough, but the facility's time management is horrid and the front desk personnel are unhelpful. I was there for 3/1/2 not inc. waiting time for preop testing that they said should take an hr.! the EKG took over an hr. and it took 4 attemps to get a reading! Then I was told that I had suffered a heart attack in the past, causing my surgery to be cancelled. They refused to do it over and when I saw a PROFESSIONAL CARDIOLGIST I was told that it showed no signs of a previous heart attack and that I was at a very low risk for surgery. The worst I have been to. On March 27, 2021, I went to MD Now Royal Palm Beach facility instead of the hospital emergency for an injury to my right toe per recommendations of the paramedics who attended our 911 call. I turned out that he paramedics were actually associated with MD Now. After waiting in the examination room for three and a half hours with an open wound and a lot of blood dripping on the floor, the doctor finally came but let me know that they did not any suture kits and we needed to go to the hospital. I eventually went to the hospital to have five stitches on my toe but not before wasting four critical hours at the MD facility. What a shame! To add insult to injury, they even sent the $90 dollar to the collection agency while it was still being worked on my Medicare. I had to pay $20 extra to the collection agency. When I contacted MD Now they informed me that they "sold" the account to the agency and couldn't do anything about it. I ended up paying $110 to the agency. MD Now only cares about getting paid and not providing service. One should avoid going to this place. read more

I have always gone to this location when I couldn't get into my kids pediatrician, my primary or it's been a weekend. In the past, my experiences have been okay. But my experience this morning was the most appalling experience of my life. I brought my 5 year old in yesterday and she had an ear infection. The doctor prescribed her a medication. My daughter could not keep this medicine down. She would throw it up immediately after swallowing it. I called this morning to ask to switch to another medication. When the office manager Roxanne called me back this morning she said the provider would not switch the medication, that it is not a medication issue, it is my daughters gag reflex. Then she proceeded to tell me that as a mother I need to learn how to get her to keep it down. First of all, this woman does not know me nor does she know my child. For her to tell me that I am doing something wrong for my child to keep down a medication is the most disrespectful thing I have ever heard come out of a healthcare providers mouth. For her to refuse to have another medication called in is beyond me. Please tell me why it matters to her or the provider? Is 3 clicks on your iPad to send in a new script too much to ask? You're telling me Augmentin or Amoxicillin are the only medications for an ear infection? And what if she was allergic to Penicillin. I am appalled by this treatment. Finally got Covid after two years of avoiding it. Went to this Urgent care since they were one of very few open on Sunday and the only one to treat Covid. Extremely efficient for how few people they had staffed. The reception Kiara was great and I loved doctor Ron Swansons bedside manner. Will definitely be returning.
