The contract signed during the mitigation process gives them the ability to conduct your reconstruction on their timeline. No unpacking, no cleaning of things they told me they would have cleaned, no communication. I don't understand why they (said they) inventory everything and took pictures so it would go back to the same place they got it from, if they aren't going to finish the job and unpack, and verifiy that nothing was damaged. Very very disappointed in my experience with this company. I am currently still unpacking things myself, and I'm an old man, so it takes me a very long time, but I needed my life / basement workbench back.

I have the signed contract between us, copies of correspondence, etc. if anyone wishes to see these to verify my report. Mr. Swanquist and I contracted for his company to install CLAY color windows (noted in 3 places on the contract) in my home. He was to obtain a sample of the window for my approval which he never did. Then his office staff called to arrange installation of windows sight unseen and never approved. I went to the SCS office to see the windows and they were stock beige color. I protested this was not what was ordered and Mr. Swanquist became loud, rude, verbally abusive, and gave me much double-talk about beige/clay/tan being the same color. He told me "I knew you were going to be trouble to work with" and "I was doing you a favor", etc. I told him it was apparent we couldn't work together and I wished to cancel our contract and asked that he return my deposit. He told me he was keeping the $182 deposit as a "restocking fee"! The BBB's response to my contacting them was "work it out between the two of you" but Mr. Swanquist was so "out of control", quite frankly I was afraid of having any dealings with him. (I am a 60+ year old woman.) This may not be the kind of review you expected but this was my experience with this individual and this company which I can verify through documents I've retained. I say deal with this person and this company at your peril!

Insurance adjuster brought this guy with her and the two of them this deal, Swan supposedly "negotiated" settlement for his over inflated prices and snuck in and started "repairing" a little of everything on the list while we were out of town!!! Now he wants the whole insurance check without supplying an estimate or anything. I have supplied paperwork to Licensing Bureau and they are on to him. He is trying to get the money out of us with a lien and wants me to sign a settlement to clear the lien and complaint. NO WAY!!!! We did a walk through with our lawyer and a professional who pointed out all the mistakes and work he was charging for that was not finished, we made him look like a fxxl!!! The lawyer told him to revise his bill to the $2600.00 it was worth, instead he sent an $ 8000.00 bill with a settlement to release the lien. That I am not signing.
