Don't trust them…read more When I had Botox done for the first time in 2023, the experience was great. The initial result wasn't exactly what I wanted, but they corrected it, and the final outcome turned out really well. However, when I went back in January 2026, I felt completely taken advantage of. I spent over $600 just for the upper part of my face. I left with the assurance that the treatment would deliver the expected results, but it didn't match what I had originally paid for. When I returned two months later to ask for a correction, they told me I would have to pay again to fix what was poorly done the first time. In the end, it feels like there's no real incentive for them to do the job properly the first time, since doing it poorly gives them the opportunity to charge twice. The problem is that there's no way to know immediately if the work was done correctly, because the final Botox results only appear after a few weeks.

He walks you through the entire process (albeit maybe too quickly during the consult), the pro/cons and what to expect your outcome to be. Plus he is hilarious; he definitely has the ability to make you feel comfortable in his presence -I told them my previous quotes from other surgeons and without asking they intentionally came in lower than the others tax in to earn my business -For being is Yorkville, his prices are actually pretty competitive for surgical procedures -My surgery was 2 weeks ago now and I am VERY happy with my results -Despite what you're about to read, I would go back to SpaMedica The bad: -The staff downstairs in the non-surgical department are MISERABLE!!! Half of them looked like they literally just rolled out of bed, they run severely behind schedule and god forbid they had to crack a smile -I wish i was better informed about the surgery I had - the average recovery is 5-7 days but because I am a tiny person, there was additional stitching internally which causes a significantly longer and more painful recovery - it's concerning that I was not made aware of this -the consult rep I was assigned was very sales-y (I am in sales so I get it, but this can come off as forceful to other people, tone it down) -Don't make people wait for their pre-planned appointment time! This is something that really drives me insane. My first consult they booked me for 4pm, I took time off work and rushed there in city traffic - I was finally seen at 5pm and left around 7pm. When I went in for my hair transplant, I never met or spoke with the doctor. Instead, I was taken to a small room and was not allowed to have anyone with me, even during the consultation. This felt awkward and completely unprofessional. The room itself was tiny--about the size of a full bathroom--which made me extremely anxious. My panic and anxiety were through the roof, yet I was rushed and told to hurry or I would lose time. The technicians performing my procedure made me feel like they were practicing on my head rather than providing expert care. The results? A complete disaster. I ended up losing more hair than ever before. Two years later, I am still beyond dissatisfied and disappointed. I paid for 3,500 grafts but only received 2,700--yet the cost was never adjusted. With financing, I ended up paying $10,700 for something that has negatively impacted my life every single day. I now have bald spots and continue losing chunks of hair. My Advice: Make sure a licensed doctor is actually performing your transplant. Ensure you're comfortable and don't let them pressure you into rushing the procedure. Don't fall for high-pressure tactics telling you to do it "now" or risk losing your money. Consider PRP treatments instead--it actually helped me. I have pictures to prove my results--don't make the same mistake I did. They don't care about you once they've taken your money. Find a reputable doctor, get a proper consultation, and confirm that a qualified professional--not just technicians--will be performing your procedure. Mind you, I know how much of a significant difference this procedure makes for my jaw line, as I severely grind my teeth at night and tend to overproduce my masseter muscle. Hence why I get the injection every 8 months or so. I don't know if the injector was not experienced or if the Botox was mixed with saline water to compensate for the promotional pricing but I would never go back here again.
