I went to see one of their doctors 2 1/2 weeks ago. I asked to be rescheduled for my follow up with another doctor as I didn't care for the one I saw. They said they would have to ask another doctor to see if they would see me. I had called 3 times over 10 days and each time they said they hadn't heard back from the doctor. I finally asked for the manager and she said she would take care of it and set up an appointment for me. She also said she'd call me back the next morning but never did. A receptionist finally called (and forgot to put me on hold so I heard her many "F" bombs) said the doctor would not see me because they feel as though once you start with a doctor, you should stay with them. What?! I am so disappointed and frustrated with the whole experience. I will never recommend MD West to anyone. read more

I loved the staff from front desk to my doctor. My surgery was the worst thing I have been through the pain has been horrible it has been 11 months and my foot is not right 22,000 and I owe 2000 and was turned over to a lawyer for collections. Because I owe I am not able to make an appointment and didn't seem to care. My foot and ankle will never be the same again. read more

I recently was here for a back surgery. This facility is nothing short of amazing. Amazing staff, rooms, food....you name it. Every nurse I had was so warm, welcoming and helpful Arnold, Jessica, Brandy, Chris, Beth, Jane and all the others I regretfully cannot remember. Dr. Doran was very optimistic after my surgery. While I am still in recovery I see a bit of improvement each day. Nobody wants to stay in a hospital but this is a surgical center and truly did not seem like a hospital at all thanks to the staff and facility. I was taken great care of. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of a surgical center. Thank you to all from the bottom of my heart and hats off to the kitchen/cooks!! read more

I began seeing Dr. Lacy in November after a back injury did not improve with physical therapy. I called on a Tuesday and was seen on Friday. He quickly assessed my symptoms and predicted the exact issue that was later confirmed by an MRI. I was able to get an MRI 10-days after my initial consult with Dr. Lacy and he called me back the next day with the results. I ultimately needed surgery that couldn't be scheduled for several weeks due to a booked schedule at year-end, but I asked to be kept on the list for cancellations. I lucked out and got the procedure scheduled 3-weeks earlier than originally planned due to a cancellation. I really appreciated that Dr. Lacy's team was so proactive in letting me know when an opening became available. I found the entire staff at MDWest One to be friendly, easily accessible and very competent. I am finally living a more comfortable life due to the care by Dr. Lacy. The team here is the best in the area (I am lucky my mom worked for neurosurgeons in Omaha for over a decade so she can point me in the right direction). Its never fun to need this type of care, but if you do, MDWest is the place to go. read more

This place is horrible. My wrist had been bothering me for a weeks. My primary physician's office to go to this place and that no appointment was needed. By the time I got off work and drove there, it was about 20 minutes before they closed. I only needed an x-ray and consultation. When I got there no one was at the reception desk; I had to wait more than a minute for someone to check me in. I realize it was a Friday evening but after they called me back, everyone seemed like they were in a hurry to get me out of there. The x-ray confirmed nothing was broken and I was given a prescription for an anti-inflammatory. I was in the office maybe a total of 15 minutes. When I received the explanation of benefits from my insurance, the charge was $494 for a 1st-time patient and a 45-minute office visit. I have never been charged that much for an office visit, even from other medical specialists. I will never go back there again. For that cost, I should have received much better service. read more

Very rude and uncaring all they care about is money. They treat work comp claims terribly.

This would be a 5 if I was judging them by just the wonderful folks that took care of me while in their care. It isn't because of them, not maintaining my pain once I left, is the reason why. Two days from my release and I am without pain aids. I have been crying most of the night as my pain is just too severe. I understand that I went through a major surgery, just not getting that same understanding from the ones that performed it. I have had other operations done and there was no problem with getting medications for those, just this one. Giving me the excuse of what insurance is allowing. They perscribed me with 30 pills. 2 every 4 hours makes it 15 doses. 6 doses a day. Very easy math. 30 pills is not a 7 day prescription. I had hip replacement. I had the upper part of my femur removed and a new socket for it on the hip side. Two days of medication is an absolute joke. But apparently the joke is on me, for trusting medical professionals to do what they say they are gonna do. read more

Kelsey with the appointment desk is the worst, she could care less if you're in pain or if you ever see an actual doctor. The doctors aren't much better, one lied to me in the hospital, another was too busy discussing something with my husband that neither noticed that I had passed out from pain from a broken elbow. They shouldn't even be practicing. read more

Amazing, I had seen two other neurosurgeons at two different facilities when MDWest One was recommended by three co workers at work. I was able to get an appointment immediately and they could tell I was in pain. It took a total of two weeks to get my surgery scheduled when the first facility I was seen at it was a month and still nothing had been scheduled. It would have taken less than two weeks at MD West One if they didn't have to jump through a couple hoops because my work switch insurance companies and they took a 11 days to approve the surgery and I was scheduled three days later for surgery. I saw Dr. Lacy and he was amazing he explained things clearly, was upfront and honest with me and he had an amazing bedside manner and remember me and the stories I had told about my job which was impressive because it showed he listened even when it didn't have anything to do with my injury. I would recommend Dr. Lacy and this facility to anyone and everyone. Each of the nurses, CNAs were kind and compassionate and the Anesthesiologist was so kind and the moment I brought into the surgery room my nurse stopped everyone to introduce me to them and every step was explained before and after. I also want to acknowledge the Access personnel who checked me in she went over everything I needed to know for myself and my boyfriend so he was up dated of my progress after surgery and he was told where to meet me in my room after surgery. Do NOT waist your time making an appointment with this outfit-they are the most unorganized doctor's office I have ever seen. I was having some major back issues, and being from western Nebraska where we have little choice for specialists, I did some research online and came up with Dr. Lodhia who I thought would be able to help me out. First of all just trying to make an appointment was a major ordeal, took 2 weeks of phone tag to set that up. So, after waiting a month to get in, I drive 400 miles one way to go see the doctor, which never happened, got stuck with PA Keith, who ended up being a complete waste of time. I was told that after my MRI that Dr. Lodhia would be calling to discuss the results with me, but instead the same PA Keith called me and tried to tell me what I needed to do and he didn't even know that I had a MRI. I don't think there is even a Dr. Lodhia that works at this place - they are the most dysfunctional outfit I have ever seen in my life and they don't seem to care that they are. I would like to give them a NEGATIVE 5 STAR RATING - they are that bad! You will waist 2 months for sure just trying to talk to a doctor- if there are really any in that building, that is! read more

When i was there for my visit I was first seen by a PA who wouldn't even let me finish my sentences, so I felt that i wasn't even heard. Then when the doctor came in she was even faster at talking. I was never able to address my needs or anything of the sort. The doctor was in my room for approx 24 seconds. I would not recommend. read more

Made an appointment with Dr. Music regarding serious back pain, and was asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to my appointment time, which I did. I waited an hour after my appointment time with no apology or communication about why, only to be put in an exam room where I waited another 15 minutes. Finally a lady came in and asked for my height and weight and wrote it on a piece of scratch paper - no file. She could not get the blood pressure cuff to work properly so she said "we will just skip it." She left and I waited another 15 minutes for a PA to come in. I was also asked to bring the file and X-rays from the doctor who had been treating me. The PA was nice, but spent about 6 minutes with me and did not even look at the x-rays and file I brought. He recommended an MRI, and said that someone would be in after he left to take care of it. I waited another 10 minutes and the original lady stepped in and said I would receive a call to schedule an MRI. I never even had any contact with Dr. Music, with whom I made the appointment, and 3 days have passed with no phone call about the MRI. read more

I would not recommend anyone to go there. I was in a very bad car accident and for two months my back was hurting. I scheduled an appointment with midwest neurosurgery to see a back specialist and i was very disappointed. My appointment was on a Friday,and i was told by the doctor that i would hear from him with my results on Monday. I never heard back from them. Called a couple times and was told that the doctor hasn't looked at my X rays. In the meantime I'm here suffering and they are taking their time to evaluate an X Ray? I heard back from them TWO WEEKS LATER. How professional is that? They never called me back, my results we sent by mail. I would recommend that you find other doctors with better standards. My appointment was for 10:45 A.M., and I was told to be there 1/2 hour early, which I was. Then the paper work took all of 5 minutes if you take your time! So now I sit and wait, and wait, now it is 11:15 and they finally take me back to the exam room....Now it is 11:45 and no Dr., I finally open the door to see what in the world was going on, and a young woman who identifies herself as Dr. Musics coordinator tells me he is in with another patient and in her nasty attitude voice, says Well you can reschedule if you want to! I ask what time the appointment was that he is with, and she explains to me that HIPPA will not allow her to tell me appointment times. Apparently the canned response when you do not have a clue is to throw HIPPA at people thinking that we are stupid and will fall for it!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say that this practice does not care about the patient at all, but the all powerful dollar has definitely won here. By the way I had a surgery from a different Dr. in this office which failed, and would not admit his mistake so Dr. Music did another surgery and now 3 years later there has been zero improvement...It is time to find a new DR. and office read more
