She asked the nurse, Olivia, to assist her. They both cleaned him up. An hour or so later, he had another BM. I informed Olivia, and she assured me Dee was notified. They both returned to the room 15 min before their shift ended. Dee stood there looking as though we had forgotten we needed her assistance with cleaning him up. It had been 2hrs since they were notified. I offered to clean him up, but he told me no bc it is their job to do it. When the new shift started at 7, I informed them that we had waited 2hrs for him to be cleaned. The new nurse, Ruby, and Patient Tech Patty both acknowledged it was unacceptable behavior. Ruby repeated several times that they do not handle their patients like that. Ruby and Patty worked together to get him cleaned. They asked if there was anything else I needed, as they knew I was not pleased. I told them I was ok but disappointed. I've heard stories of patients being overlooked in nursing homes but not in hospitals. I see it happens everywhere. There has been another shift change, and I'm not sure who the Patient Tech will be, but I would like someone who is well-trained and has BEDSIDE MANNERS. Dee, the patient tech who did not change him, was young, maybe 30, but still no excuse. You've been trained and know better. From what I understand, she served in the military. Overall, it has been a good experience, but the quality of care needs major improvement.

She worked with me on finding a pharmacy as we were in a small town that rolls up the sidewalks at 6pm. A few days later he was having side effects from the medication. Contacted her and she asked some questions, asked for photos, and called in another prescription. I would never think to utilize medical services like this, but it worked out great. Without insurance, going to the ER can be quite costly and not knowing how much the bill will be until a few weeks down the road. With this service I knew the cost up front!!

Her complaints included staying that I was rude because I wanted to know why she stated my insurance was inactive after giving me no information and walking off while I tried to get some better understanding of the situation so I could get advisement from my insurance company. Turns out...as I already knew...that Brianna was absolutely incorrect and my insurance was in fact active and they were magically able to give me my negative results back for my COVID test. No apologies from Brianna for her clear mistake. Extremely disappointing service from a healthcare clinic where I am going to get some helpful services. Hope this is not the norm for this facility. Friday afternoon around 1:15pm ... We were walk-ins (colds). After checking in we ended up…read moretransferring our co-payment credit to another Piedmont Urgent Care on Scenic Hwy ... and left. I will say that we were welcomed as we entered this facility. The young lady who welcomed us as we entered the door was great (kind and answered all of our questions with great customer service). However, it's a little embarrassing when you are asked as you enter the building "Hi, welcome to Piedmont Urgent Care ... what brings you in today?" The large foyer area is open for everyone to hear. This practice needs to be changed for privacy sake. Next, several patient check-ins were hampered by some type of malfunction. Codes that were supposed to be sent to cellphones for confirmation were not working well. We waited for a code that never came and went to the counter and spoke with another employee (who didn't appear wanting to be bothered). She seemed to be aware of the issue and sent another code (we got it this time). Lastly, we sat for about 40mins watching patients check in, sit and wait with no sign of movement from the back Clinical area). I inquired how many doctors were in ... "just 1". This was horrible... as there was a poor hollering child next to us (excruciating ear infection) along with a couple of workers comp patients and other walk-in's like us. It appeared as though there was no one working in the back at all (no doctor, nurse or anything!). No doors opening-closing, no chatter... absolutely dead silence in the exam room area. We knew we were in for a very long wait and opted to leave and headed to another Piedmont Urgent Care facility up the street with a larger staff. We will not be coming back to this location (Centerville Hwy) again. I will share that the facility was very clean however they don't appear to have the staffing needed to provide the medical services needed and in a timely fashion. I cannot recommend this facility. (Went to the other facility and my husband was seen within 10mins. We were out within an hour!!! Unbelievable. Upon arrival here the waiting room had several patients waiting to be seen. Though there were only two other sets of people in the waiting area, I was told they were behind, and it would be a 45 minute wait. She was very kind, pleasant, attentive, helpful and informative. Had it not been for Donna, I'd give zero stars if I could. During my discharge instructions, the MA told me I could purchase my prescriptions from them or have them sent to my pharmacy. I chose my pharmacy. By the time I left Urgent Care, it was after hours. The following morning, I called the pharmacy regarding my prescriptions. The staff at Piedmont NEVER called it in. Totally UNACCEPTABLE and so inconvenient, especially when you're not feeling well. Even though Donna was amazing, I'd never return to this facility. I can give a little grace for the wait time. I get it, a lot of places are understaffed these days.
