That said, it can get very hot depending on the time of day, so put on sim screen and bring a hat. We arrived at noon and it was scorching hot. Good thing the store and food court have air conditioning. It got better as the day went on. I went on Saturday with my husband and son. We found some great deals at Van Huesen. They are having a liquidation sale, island wide. My husband found a few nice work shirts. Christmas sales haven't begun yet, so we'll be back soon. Afterwards, we walked over to Chili's for a late lunch. All in all, it was a nice family day. The mall has a playground for the kids.

If you're looking for affordable souvenirs from Puerto Rico (magnets, shirts, paper weights, etc), they only have a few here on the second floor unlike in Walmarts in Hawaii. The souvenir designs are limited and are not as good as the ones in Old San Juan stores. Would recommend going to the souvenir stores in Old San Juan like the ones on Calle Fortaleza.
