I absolutely love this television channel. It gives me the chance to watch some of the older television shows that I used to watch as a very young kid. Here you will see such shows as Gilligan's Island, Columbo, Leave It To Beaver, The Love Boat, Green Acres and many, many more of the older programs. Sometimes it's kind of hard to find something good on television these days and this is my go to channel for something that is enjoyable to watch. Years ago I used to like TVLand but that channel is definitely not what it used to be when it first got started. My parents both really like to watch this channel too since they get to see the shows they grew up watching. I am very glad that this TV channel exists and I hope that it will be here to stay because it is one of my very few options for some of the older programs. read more

MeTV use to have a decent nightly lineup: Beverly Hillbillies, Hogan's Heroes, and Carol Burnet. It was a very good lineup. Since April the shows have been bouncing around and except for keeping Hogan Heroes are terrible. Please MeTV field a decent lineup of classic comedy. read more

Me-TV is on my TV more than any other channel. I like the old family shows like Leave it to Beaver, Father Knows Best, and My Three Sons. Then when I'm home in the morning I watch Perry Mason and Matlock. All afternoon I watch the Western Shows like Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Rifleman, and Wagon Train. Those are every weekday, on weekends it's Maverick, Have Gun Will Travel and Wanted Dead or Alive added to the mix! If it's a rainy day I have Me-TV to keep me company. When I am up late at night having my snack I watch The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock, then I try to go back to sleep! Nowadays I listen to Merry Melodies and Looney Tunes while I'm hanging around in the morning. Me-TV keeps me company whether I'm watching or just have the sound to keep me company. I'm really happy Spectrum Cable provides this station free. I hope it doesn't get so popular they add it to the pay channels. After all how many episodes can I watch before it's the same ones over and over. I've seen some of The Rifleman shows three times recently. I'm like a kid watch it over and over! So we are caught up in all of our regular shows so tonight, after dinner, we tuned in MeTV. We've watched Columbo, Ed Sullivan, Carol Burnett, Flip Wilson, Dick Van Dyke and finishing with The Twilight Zone. These are shows that we have been watching for 60+ years and how fun and refreshing tonight has been with TV that actually made us laugh without the noise, nice. I've been hobbled for a few days with a twisted ankle so in between watching my miscreant New York Mets embarrass themselves as baseball imposters, I've been catching up with some old friends Perry Mason and Arthur Fonzarelli on MeTV. For those of you who can't unglue yourselves from cable news and on-demand poker videos, MeTV is a soft network of 203 affiliated broadcast stations that specialize in "classic television" series from the 1950s onward with acute focus on the 60s and 70s. From the outset, MeTVs specialty has been "camp" programming like Leave it to Beaver, The Flintstones, Happy Days, Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch that as innocents we lapped up as genius storytelling but can now only be viewed generations later, as absurd relics of a far simpler time. In fact, MeTVs own promos literally mock the stupidity and simplicity of their own programming offering up tacit "permission" for us to binge with abandon at their antique television trough. What harm can there be if we're all in on the joke goes the logic. Is there really a market for post-ironic, ironic television. There must be as Rod Serling has imaginary dialogues with Arnold Ziffel (an actual pig) from Green Acres fame. Brilliant. And please go easy on the obvious racial stereotyping and misogyny. It's there but can we all just realize that 1965 and 2021 aren't mirror images - any more than 1965 had much in common with the cultural mores of 1909. However, while we gloat, applaud and celebrate our jaded sophistication, I often wonder how the network crap that we laud today as so raw and cutting edge will be viewed sixty years from now. One peek at the Kardashians or Survivor and I don't even have to ask. For now I'll just be content that the indomitable Perry Mason will somehow get some guilt ridden slob to confess on the witness stand to first degree murder and that Thurston Howell will never run out of fresh leisure wear. After changing cable companies I was really happy to see we got this tv program. It brings back lots of of memories in my days such as shows like Gomer Pyle and shows like Green Acres. On Saturday nights they have this program called Svengoolie. It's old scary shows that are always a favorite here in my household. We love watching the old Carrol Burnett show and always watch the Twilight Zone. It's a great tv station and we are so happy to be able to watch shows we've seen while we were younger. read more

METV broadcasts old (50's, 60's, 70') tv shows. In my opinion, what this broadcaster does differently from other networks that rely on old tv programs for content is get quality prints of some shows. The prints are sometimes startling in clarity. In SoCal (where I live) KAZA TV's METV broadcast prints of Perry Mason, The Twilight Zone, Mannix and Gunsmoke in HD! The black and white images on my 32" Samsung tv (using only an antenna) make the old stars like Raymond Burr, Mike Connors , James Arness, etc. look like they were filmed yesterday! The source looks better (IMO) then many black and white hidef discs of old movies I have purchased. I cannot vouch that this is the case where you live but I love the old shows and when they look so good it is easier to tolerate the slow pace as sometimes dated attitudes of those earlier times. read more

I ordered a Svengoolie Hoodie 2XL on 12-2-19. By 12-15-19, I had not heard anything from them. I sent an e-mail 12-15-19 asking where is my order? Their response was " It will arrive by 12-20, then another e-mail,"It will arrive by 12-19, then another e-mail, "It will arrive 12-17 by 8PM." It did appear 12-17 only to be the wrong size, XL instead of 2XL. I e-mailed them 3 times to the original address used to ask why I had not received the hoodie. NO RESPONSE ! I have sent inquiries to two different e-mail addresses and still NO RESPONSE!. On 12-20-19, I mailed back the wrong size hoodie to an address listed on their website,at my own expense, $7.85 for their stupid mistake. I will never order anything from this place again. What a nightmare! I have no present to give to my son but a picture of his gift if it ever really does show up! My son, his wife and daughter love this channel ! read more

I'm just sayin' ask her kin we buy one from her. ") the writers on the Hillbillies were truly geniuses. How they came up with the "golf egg" episode is bafflingly genius! Love the Me-TV Channel. However the store is a nightmare! I ordered two crew sweatshirts for Christmas gifts December 8, 2017. The MeTV sweatshirt that should have taken weeks arrived by December 15th. The Pop Culture sweatshirt, that I could have purchased from another site, has yet to arrive - it's December 20th! That shirt was to arrive within 5 to 10 days of order! I live in Chicago! Their address in 26 N. Halsted in Chicago! The biggest problem is the lack of a customer service phone number and a tracking site or number. If it arrives after the holiday that's fine - but NO tracking number! Plus no way to follow up? They were quick to process my credit card payment but unable to provide basic customer service. Ummm, and people wonder why Amazon is taking over retail. PROFESSIONALISM!!!! That's why!!! I watch me-tv at night. I like to watch Perry Mason, the problem is that when the show is on the picture needs to be center, because on the right side of the tv I get lines on that side and the logo is in the middle of the picture.
