The indoor is large and well-lite as well as the horses have good turn-out. In addition, there are dressage letters although sometimes certain people don't want to use the aids they have at their facility. The barn is very clean and there are many horses as well as a field for cross-country jumping and a good outdoor ring. Also they will help you tack and untack. The trainers take cash, some major credit cards, checks and of course traveler's checks. I don't know about Apple Pay. Some of the grooms are very good guys who speak English and Spanish. However, one trainer thinks you can text and drive so that isn't a good thing (you should know better). They also have handicapped parking that is reassuring to see.

Show vibe, kids, especially in the Summer, and horses are well cared for. They tack and untack well, a nice perk. Few adults. No lounge, or social area for the kids. But if you just want a convenient picturesque place to ride and keep your horse, you could do worse. The place is safe, with a rustic vibe. Stalls in various sizes spread over several barns. Tack rooms average, but some room for trunks. Grooms are nice and know what they are doing. Vets and farriers there pretty much weekly.

I won't list all of them - just some highlights. My friend, who is not experienced, wanted to do this trail ride for our birthdays and we thought it would be fun. I've been on trail rides all over the world and know what to expect, and have never pulled out of a ride because I didn't feel safe until this place. I was the first person to be mounted and when the horse came out, I could see that the saddle was improperly placed too far back. I didn't say anything because it's not my place, but when I mounted, the girth was clearly too loose as the saddle started to slip. I told them that the girth was too loose and also that the saddle seemed to far back so Janet said let's reset the saddle and asked me how I would do it! She didn't seem to know the proper placement or how tight to make the girth because apparently this happened before. She then told me to walk down the lawn and let the horse graze while I waited for the rest of the group. It's not a safe practice to let horses graze while mounted, especially with beginners, but apparently that's what they do regularly. When the group was ready to leave, Janet started off on her horse and just about 30 yards from the barn, before even getting to the trail, the horse tripped and fell all the way down to the ground!! Janet fell off of course, and the horse walked off. If I had any doubt that all the red flags I'd clocked were right, this confirmed it. She was shaken up but ok, but didn't go on the ride, I don't know what was up with the horse but if a horse falls down just walking across a lawn, that raises questions about soundness and safety that are serious.

While I…read morehave since moved and am no longer able to ride on a weekly basis, I still find her lessons incredibly effective for the times that I am able to make it to the barn. She knows what makes each individual horse and rider tick, which enables her to bring out the best in both of them. I especially love her knowledge in dressage and emphasis on flat work. With Sally, I understand the "why" behind her instruction. I wish I found her years earlier!

She has a sixth sense when it comes to what each horse and rider needs in the moment and tailors the lesson accordingly. Her extensive dressage background ensures that her students are equipped with a solid foundation in flatwork that translates beautifully over fences. In 5 months of consistent lessons, Sally completely boosted my confidence and got me back to jumping small courses after a long break. Sadly I'm not able to ride very often these days, but whenever I do get a chance to take a lesson with Sally, she is always able to meet me wherever I am that day and I walk away feeling accomplished. She has taught me not just how to ride, but how to truly connect with a horse in a way I never have before. Sally also has a lot of experience training horses, particularly thoroughbreds. I highly recommend her for all of your riding and training needs.
