Pond, windsprinners, gorgeous pots, alot of premade pots and baskets in all sizes. Everything is gorgeous. I told my mom to not leave me inheritance just some credit here. This an awesome Garden Center, truly craters to the gardener. Many varieties of plants ready to transplant - flowers, bulbs, brushes, vines etc. We pick out 2 hanging baskets of vining germramies, some yellow Gerber daisies and six pack of assorted kitchen herbs. read more

I have watched Meadow View grow from the very first greenhouse to the large business it is today. Even after I moved away from New Carlisle and tried pants from other nurseries, I always came back here for their quality plants and friendly service. It's the kind of place you can go and lose track of time, as you keep finding more interesting things around the next corner. They have many plants you won't find elsewhere locally, and they are willing to take the time to explain to you how to care for them. The gift shop always has fun things, from decorative to useful. Meadow View gives back to the community, too. My kids' school does a fundraiser with them every year, and I know they contribute to other organizations. If you're not local, I think you'd find it worth the drive to visit Meadow View. read more

DO NOT SHOP AT MEADOW VIEW GROWERS IN NEW CARLISLE unless you can afford to throw your money away. On October 25, 2022 I purchased two Peony plants at $39.99 each, with the thought that they would bloom by Memorial Day and I could place the cut flowers on my infant daughter's grave. I planted them in a large pot, but this spring only one plant came up. The other was dead. I called Meadow View several times, but their voicemail said they were not answering the phone because of short staffing. Over the course of a month I kept calling, and on Tuesday, May 23rd someone finally answered the phone. I was transferred to a supervisor and explained the situation to her, asking if they would replace the plant. She said that because I planted the flowers in a pot instead of the ground, and also because I did not make my complaint in the same year I purchased the plants i.e., by December (these are flowers that bloom in the Spring) they could not replace the dead plant (I was not asking for a refund). She stated that is the policy of Meadow View Growers and there was nothing she could do. I am extremely disappointed in this abysmal level of customer service, and want others to know the risk they take when dealing with this company. I happened to be at Lowes today, and their Peony plants are $16.99 each. I could have purchased five plants for the $85.78 that I paid for one plant (one plant was dead) at Meadow View Growers. I purchased a pant here and returned it after calling ahead to ensure my refund, and the lady on the phone said, "yes, as long as you have the receipt, and it's within a year, you may bring it back for a complete refund." Upon returning to MVG, I was met with the manager who said I was 3-4 day's late, and would only refund me one half the price. If this is what you call customer service, you might as well be living in a dictatorship. Not only was this lady rude, she commented, " if I make an exception for you, then I have to do it for everyone". The lines were so long at the cash register, I just asked for a receipt, but I can assure you that I will never return to a place that treats you like you don't matter. Take your business somewhere where they appreciate you and your effort to drive there, please! read more

I have always received the very best customer service at Meadow View! On a recent visit, I realized I didn't bring a coupon I received from Meadow View for my birthday. Mr. Tom allowed me to receive the discount without providing the coupon. The selection of house plants, vegetables, annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs, etc. is the best in our area. Spring 2017. Bought a small flowering ornamental tree. Paid nearly $200 for it but had to return 2 days later with a truck to get it home. The tree I wanted was sold out from under me in those couple of days and they were out of that variety. I settled on something smaller than I wanted. Planted it right away and it did fine for the 2017 season. Spring 2018. Tree did not bloom but I tried to give it ample time before Going back to the garden center. I was one week past my one-year warranty. I didn't dig up the tree because I was told that the tree would come out of it .... that it was just a rough winter. It never bloomed In the summer of 2018. I feel completely ripped off by Meadow View Griowers and will not return. read more

This garden center is really very nice. The people here are nice and helpful and the plants are very well taken care of and inexpensive. I don't think i even need to mention how beautiful they are , they speak for themselves. I definitely would recommend this place over Scarffs, just because they seem to be cheaper. Good luck on mothers day here. The maze always seemed like fun too, but I'm kinda scared i may get lost in there and have to live on dried up corn till mid winter when the husks fall down. Wonderful stock and nice gardening supplies here along with a friendly staff make this a great stop in the spring when the planting bug bites; they also offer a maze in the fall for your wandering pleasure. Well this place is another piece of home for those in New Carlisle. I believe every one of the children has been here every single year if they've been in the school system. I've never experienced "The Maze" but the kids love the crazy hayride driver who cannot stay on the path because he keeps looking back! Also they love the corn pit, which I'll have to admit, is interesting even for grown ups who haven't exactly grown up. There's more than meets the eye with Meadow View.
