We met with various preschools in the area and none felt exactly right until we met with Sumara, one of the owners of the Goddard School of Long Hill. Her excitement and passion were evident from the first meeting (and I should note, have not waivered since). After researching the school's philosophy and considering some of our own personal experiences with the Goddard franchise, we made our decision. While waiting for opening day our son attended a different preschool and as kids will do, he picked up some negative behaviors and began saying he did not like school or learning. This was obviously very upsetting for all of us. However, within just a few weeks at Goddard we noticed a huge difference in him. He now loves school and we no longer have morning struggles and tears. He runs into the classroom each morning with excitement. His teacher is absolutely amazing and having the owners onsite and involved makes a big difference as well. The school is clean and bright and welcoming. We are so glad to be a part of the Goddard family!

Not only did they host a OUTSTANDING gymnastic party with activities, a bouncy house, trampoline and obstacle course.... They took care of everything, from set up to breakdown!! Including: 1. Asking me what I needed help with at each step 2. group picture of the kids 3. Helping pass out the food 4. Getting everyone organized before singing happy birthday 5.cake cutting & passing out desserts And that the gym was exclusively for us. Diamond, without a doubt went above and beyond our expectations!! And the best part was that both our daughters went home and took a nap!

One of our son's favorite spot was the "Market" lol anyway, we had fun taking pictures with Mickey and Minnie and loved the surprise Balloon drop. Bonus was the spacious parking lot across and babytown area for kids 2 and under. They can host private parties, and even have books and toys for sale. Now if only there was food and coffee for purchase! lol Either way, loved Neverland fun and their wonderful staff! Thank you! Will keep an eye out for other events!

All of the staff are amazing, and the campers are angels, they make coming into work every day so much better. I missed one day of camp because of an event I had, I had the biggest FOMO and knew I never wanted to miss another day. DCS genuinely changes you, and the love of Jesus is so deeply rooted throughout this camp. The staff really do care about you and want you to grow in your faith and want to help you build a relationship with jesus no matter what age or program you're in Base, Trek, or Summit it leaves an impact. There is also always so much to do at camp that you are never bored. Color Wars is by far one of my favorite weeks because you get to talk to people you may not have talked to before and build such close relationships with them. and song time is so amazing the songs are so great and coming back this year made me realize that I want to return every single year. My life has been forever changed by DCS, and I hope every kid who comes here gets to experience the same joy, friendships, and love of Jesus that I have. i'm already looking forward to dcs 2027

They're extremely caring and I feel they truly have my children's health and welfare as top priority. I've seen my kiddos blossom into polite and caring kids with skills that will have them ready for kindergarten when the time comes. Also, the Director and Assistant Director have been extremely accomodating wtih schedules and flexing time with half/full days to help with some extra lessons we have in place for our child. Its been a huge stress-relief to have this as a home base that we can count on when we need care. Its really been a great experience.

I host gingerbread decorating parties there every year and we have the best time. Jan is so amazing with children and teaching. She's hosted brownie badge classes too. In Giborim, you get to plan your own schedules. However, the staff had trouble appealing to the wide age ranges campers during unity events. As a fourth grader, I should not be forced to be forced to do head, shoulders, knees, and toes, as well as other childish games during Boker Tov aka their meet and greets! Bus rides to and from camp can be 45-60 minutes each way. Unit shelters are also very dirty, especially during or after rain storms. The food was also mediocre, and parents must comply with the camp's own "definition" of Kosher if they want to pack lunches. I was given a marshmallow fluff sandwich as an alternative lunch when my salad was soggy, which is far from healthy.

They have a smaller overall experience than a Jeff Lake or a Meadowbrook. Given that they don't quite have as much to offer, their price point is a touch high. However, they justify their price by having a smaller camper to counselor ratio. They are also better equipped to handle "special" or "difficult" campers, as they have the right people in place to ensure that all kids have fun and that all kids have a wonderful experience together. Furthermore, the staff takes time to give reports and updates on the experiences of each individual camper, and could not be better with parent communication. My son comes home with a smile and a great experience. He's happy and that makes me happy. They offer pick-up and drop-off right at your door. They even offer a small extended before and after camp program right at the JCC in West Orange.

We tried out a couple of other kid's gyms in the area prior to signing up, but we liked Gymboree the most! The reason we liked Gymboree the most was because they have skills that they teach the kids during group time, such as "Over and Under", "Hard and Soft", "Push and Pull", etc. This was different from the other gyms in which group time consisted of taking turns swinging on a bar or sitting on a play mat with balls underneath. Our Instructor is Ms. Carrie and she is very sweet! She greets Ryan as soon as we walk in and knows all the kids names (even the new kids who just come for try outs). She is really friendly and does a great job of getting all the kids together during group time. I also really like how they change around the play area every 3 weeks or so to match whatever skills they have planned for the kids. This helps as they never get bored. Also, they do a really great job of keeping the whole facility clean- not a trace of dust or stains anywhere! Lastly, both the kids and parents are very friendly here.
