It's easy to pinpoint the reason too: Janelle, the camp director, and her incredible staff. We really weren't expecting any accommodations, but/and Jenelle and all the counselors quickly realized what my son needed, put some changes in place for him, and connected with him in an amazing way. My son was so happy and he learned that he can fun with less structure, be safe with new people, and make new friends. I'm gushing, I know, but this summer was super-special and I couldn't let it go unnoted.

These types of behavior are learned and fostered at home. Update: I met with the Director and Associate Director of the program and they informed me that 2/3 kids that were involved in the incidences were expelled. The last child was 4 year olds and not fully aware of what he was doing. I was happy that the administration did not dismiss what was going on and acted swiftly.

In Giborim, you get to plan your own schedules. However, the staff had trouble appealing to the wide age ranges campers during unity events. As a fourth grader, I should not be forced to be forced to do head, shoulders, knees, and toes, as well as other childish games during Boker Tov aka their meet and greets! Bus rides to and from camp can be 45-60 minutes each way. Unit shelters are also very dirty, especially during or after rain storms. The food was also mediocre, and parents must comply with the camp's own "definition" of Kosher if they want to pack lunches. I was given a marshmallow fluff sandwich as an alternative lunch when my salad was soggy, which is far from healthy.

They have a smaller overall experience than a Jeff Lake or a Meadowbrook. Given that they don't quite have as much to offer, their price point is a touch high. However, they justify their price by having a smaller camper to counselor ratio. They are also better equipped to handle "special" or "difficult" campers, as they have the right people in place to ensure that all kids have fun and that all kids have a wonderful experience together. Furthermore, the staff takes time to give reports and updates on the experiences of each individual camper, and could not be better with parent communication. My son comes home with a smile and a great experience. He's happy and that makes me happy. They offer pick-up and drop-off right at your door. They even offer a small extended before and after camp program right at the JCC in West Orange.

Her current teacher Ms. Parekh has done a great job stepping up to take over her class recently. One aspect of the curriculum we really like is the group classrooms ranging from ages 2-5, which gives the young ones an older partner to look up to and teaches the older kids how to care for and guide their younger peers. There are additional academic programs during the day you can add on, as well as after school extracurricular activities like music and various sports. It's also good to see an emphasis on allowing the kids to be physically active as much as possible during regular school hours. The community of parents we've met has also been great and our daughter has made many friends. We plan to start our son this summer. Yes, sometimes she falls or catches an illness at school... but it's mostly normal, unavoidable stuff. If there is a concern we've found the administration to be responsive. It's not cheap by any means, but a safe place where your little ones can progress their education as early as possible is absolutely worth it.

For an extra fee you can add on balloons and catered food, so you really just need to show up with goodie bags and cake. The space isn't huge, but I would say it's perfect for a 2/3/4 year old birthday party. There are lots of slides and play areas toclimb, and for an extra $100 charge they will blow up a bounce house. Leading up to the event - it was extremely easy to communicate and ask questions via email. Everyone was so responsive which was really amazing. At the party there were four staff members onsite to assist for around 20 kids. They handled absolutely everything and I hardly had to lift a finger. The party length is 1.5 hours which I thought was perfect. An hour of play time and half an hour of pizza and cake. Only knocking off a star because you can't bring in your own balloons, and the balloons they sell are incredibly expensive for what you get. Ballon cost aside, it's a great place for a party and I really appreciated having to do minimal work with a wonderful outcome. Most importantly - the birthday girl had the best time.

Being a first time mom and fairly new to the Randolph area, my husband and I researched and toured every single preschool. As soon as I entered the Goddard School, I knew it was the right place for my daughter. I was immediately drawn to their state of the art fingerprint security system along with an outstanding curriculum, generous classroom space and a safe and immaculate, age appropriate playground. The school is warm and inviting. The halls are decked out with artwork and pictures of the faculty and students. The classrooms are bright, spacious, cheery and filled with countless educational tools and areas designed for pretend play, fine motor skill activities, reading, writing and listening centers and individual cubbies for the children. My daughter loves going to school everyday and I have seen a vast improvement in her social skills as well as her speech and language skills. She excels in math and science and can even read thanks to "sight words." She has learned quite a few Spanish words and knows a ton of sign language. As she enters kindergarten in September, there's no doubt in my mind that she is much better off to have gone to the Goddard School. I have grown extremely fond of all her teachers over the past 3 years. They have all been beyond helpful, extremely caring, sincere, nurturing, loving and exemplify what teaching is all about. The director, Miss Leigh Ann, is absolutely incredible. The knowledge she has and the willingness to help in any and every situation goes above and beyond her job title. If I ever have a care or concern, Miss Leigh Ann always puts my mind at ease. She is a true gem! Miss Daniele, the assistant director, is exceptionally friendly, efficient and professional. I know I can go to her with any question and she will have a solution. The owners, Miss Anne, Mr. John and Mr. Jonathan are always welcoming and pleasant. All the times you watched ninja warrior or something similar and thought that you could do it, you're probably wrong. I think it's a cool experience to try. They have separate courses for adults and kids. The courses were clean and safe. The staff was friendly and the prices are reasonable.
