I totally forgot how majestic and beautiful these animals are. Upon entering, we were greeted by Ania who turned out to be our instructor/guide for our trail ride. Upon checking in, we grabbed horseback riding helmets and Ania walked us through some basic instructions and what to expect on the trail ride. It was great to learn how to push the horse to move, stop, or speed up. My horse was Eleanor, a grey Mustang Mare. She was super friendly and easy to ride with. The trail ride includes scenic bridle paths in Loantaka Park and we even picked up the pace and trotted a couple of times which was amazing to experience. Definitely one of my favorite activities I've done in 2025. I can't recommend Seaton Hackney Stables enough!

My trail guide was very kind. She knew a lot about the horses and the trail. I will be back next year, hopefully sooner! Horses see into your soul, just like dogs too. I think. Randolph climbing gym has been a place ive been meaning to go for a long while now. The place is pretty nice, to me it looks pretty clean, nothing to complain about there. The staff was pretty helpful and nice. We went on a Saturday and it wasn't to packed around 1pm, although once 2 rolled around a couple birthday parties must have been scheduled so the place fill with little kids. As for any advice i can offer, if you have feet larger then 12 renting shoes will be a problem. I needed 13's and had to squeeze into a 12 if i wanted to use climbing shoes. So either bring your own or use sneakers.

At the end of summer 2023 we put down a deposit to reserve his spot for the following summer. The camp took our deposit and emailed confirmation of enrollment in August. In December we receive an email from the camp stating my son was no longer a good fit. As a parent, this was heartbreaking. After being a family of this camp for years, they didn't even have the courtesy to have any verbal communication with us. I find the actions of this camp to be discriminatory. Approach with caution.

Obviously there was some hesitation with allowing our daughter to attend any camp this year, but the Breene family that runs the camp was amazing not only from a logistical point of view but also in providing a safe "normal" environment for kids to enjoy. We have joked (but not really joking) that other entities should take notes on not only how to do proper communication but then effectively implementing and providing an environment in which all participants could feel safe. If the Breene family can provide this type of atmosphere under the circumstances they faced this Summer, imagine the experience they can provide when, hopefully, things are a bit more normal next Summer!
