We were seated at a table overlooking the beautiful golf course. Such a beautiful sight at sunset! For me Friday night can only mean one thing, and that is a beer battered fish fry with French fries. My fish fry was delicious, but the french fries were ice cold. The waitress very graciously replaced them with steaming hot fresh french fries. Due to travel considerations, we had to adjust our headcount at the last minute. Joe took this in stride and coordinated a lovely evening without mention or concern. The grounds are lovely, the building is quaint, and the menu is broad and varied. We chose plated dinners and our guests raved about the quality and presentation of their choices. in short, the food was delicious! We chose to have our cocktail hour in the main bar. There we were tended to by Bert. He was fun, knowledgeable, and very attentive to our guests. We have been dealing with several vendors during the engagement, shower, rehearsal, and wedding process. Bryncliff proved to be one of the best to work with. Not to mention that the cost of the event was very affordable! No nickel and diming nonsense. Plenty of parking and lots of golf carts for everyone involved. There are 27 holes available... 3 sets of 9 broken up by location (east, west and south I believe). It's a massive place! My only complaint was the sand pits were extremely hard and gritty which made them more difficult than normal to scoop your ball from the traps. Ah well, if I was any good at golf, I wouldn't have to worry about them anyway! I would love to play on this course again!

When I found out two of our golfers had to cancel, I did the courteous thing and cancelled two of the slots online. I got confirmation of same and was presented without issues. Until 30 minutes later when I got an email saying that the spot was "only for a foursome" and my entire reservation was cancelled. Absolutely disgusting, scumbag, money grubbing behavior. And now Father's Day is ruined. Thanks for nothing. Will never even consider this course again. This is everything that's wrong with the game today. Get bent, see you never. -5 stars

All items were terrific. The sandwich had real corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, sauce and pumpernickel seeded bread. Yum! The fries had a butter, cinnamon syrup that was delicious too. The beer was $5 for happy hour, which is not a bad price for hay burner. We were able to pay $10 to rent a club and we got a bucket of medium balls. There were plenty of spots available on both floors and the area was clean and set up nicely. I hit a few balls, so I feel that it was a successful night! We had so much fun and will definitely be back.

(Rightfully so as they were booked back to back) A gentleman rolled up when we were on hole 4, just finishing up, and proceeded to tell us to play faster, when I told him that we needed to wait every time we got to a hole for the gentlemen ahead of us to finish he was rude and told us we needed to just play faster and he said there was a hole between us and the next Players. We proceeded to finish that hole and got to hole 5 - a PAR 3 130 Yards!!! We finished that quickly and proceeded to hole 6 where we ended up waiting to once again play again!!! There was a twosome behind us that never caught up and had to wait for us so if we were delaying the game I think it would have been apparent if they were continuously waiting for us! I don't think this is acceptable behavior and will most likely never return! I get it's a busy day but as a worker know your audience, know what's happening and don't be rude to customers who have paid a good penny to play a round with 4 people on Father's Day!!! I grew up in Akron and used to call Dande my home course for high school golf. I now live out of…read morethe area and haven't played there in a couple years, but I was really impressed with how far its come along when I was there this morning to play a round with my brother. The course was in amazing shape and they are in the process of adding a lot more to the practice area and they are working on running a cart path along all 18 holes. It's a little pricey, but seeing how they are doing what they can to make the course better, makes me feel like it's worth it to play there. They even have a PGA professional there now offering lessons and other coaching. I feel like they are doing a great job at being a great, more inexpensive option than going to Ivy Ridge or Arrowhead nearby. The course itself is beautiful and not too challenging. It offers a few challenging holes and there are no bunkers so it's honestly a great place for all skill levels.

We were set up in a large tent adjacent to the restaurant/party house/club house. The main bar was closed (been there before, it's nice). The food was served family style. Each dish was fantastic. More than enough to feed this hungry group. Bartenders were attentive and prompt. What really impressed me were the servers/bussers. They really hustled. As a former restaurant worker and frequent diner, I appreciate staff grinding it out. I want to give a high five. They had a challenge with a storm that come in but pivoted well. I hope that they see this and can know that their efforts were noticed. Thank you so much and I do know that the groom/bride were very happy.
