Staff 5 stars from mantainance to house keeping they do their best. Since I talk with house keeping. The crew from what I have seen and heard. Does their best as well. Dietary ok 4 stars for them. Love their attitudes, have have one his name Jerold. Cool as hell and very very polite. Therapy department 5 stars what they lack in equipment they make up in heart. Jennifer and Jim they are the ones I see very helpful and at times funny. Jennifer has helped me to cope with being here along with the nursing and CNA staff. Nursing and CNA staff 5 stars. Both of their staff members have gone out their way as well to help me cope. I have a huge fear of these places. And they make sure I am fine during their shifts. 6 stars to sarge that is a big dog who greets you coming in the place. I love animals. But I am allergic to dogs. So I cannot be around him. So I think I am missing out playing with him. Ok now the reason for the 4 stars. Ok management treats the residents good. However when it comes to the staff it is a different story. I used to manage a 711 back home as well as a restaurant. You never ever yell at your staff. You treat them with respect and honor. One will be surprise on how much they will be willing to work hard and stay working at your place. It is good to have a honest boss and staff but there should be times when they need to sugar coat a problem. I find it hard to deal with my issues. I have a stage 4 wound and a ileostomy bag. Do it is kind of had for me to deal with this. But like I said nursing , CNA staff, and Jennifer have been helping me to cope. And get back to walking. Now yes I do recommend valley view. And I will be visiting them once I am discharged. However boy I hope not to get in the same boat again. But if I do valley view is the place for rehab.
