I was in Cleveland this week on business and had the opportunity to play the Legacy Course yesterday with a 7:30 a.m. tee time--my first round of golf in Ohio. It was a fantastic experience, and I wanted to commend your team. From the pro shop staff to the snack bar team and outside services, everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and professional. What stood out most was how genuinely happy they seemed to be in their roles, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, I didn't get any names, but I wanted to ensure their efforts were recognized. Please extend my appreciation to the entire staff for creating such a positive and memorable experience. As an out-of-towner, I felt truly welcomed, and I can confidently say I'll be back the next time I'm in the area.

Someone had a side salad which was delicious with a tasty dressing. The clam chowder was spectacular. Not too thick, and a nice amount of clams. Iced tea was great too. Kyle was our server. They have combined the red and white courses to a new white course and now 27 holes (vs old 36 holes). The new #5 is nice and this will be a favorite come spring time. If you've never played here before, give it a try. The price is reasonable and the course is usually pretty well maintained. Owner Bill Fitch is an avid golfer and aims to please his customers. I always enjoy a beer or drink from their bar after a round.

They're only bringing putters and will probably only put on 3-4 holes. GC: we don't take tee times for one person. Me: Can you make the tee time for three people? I'll happily pay for them. GC: we don't encourage kids on the course. Me: To clarify, you don't allow kids or you don't encourage kids? GC: let me get a manager. (I was put on hold and they clearly forgot about me. I could hear many F bombs being dropped and lots of joking around when I finally shouted hey, I'm still on hold and then they laughed and said oh hey lol. A couple minutes later "manager" picked up the phone). Me:can I make a tee time for my kids and I? GC: we just had a staff meeting and I don't think we're going to allow kids. Me: can I make a tee time for my kids and I? GC: Ah, ugh, um, I mean, it's not encouraged, you know kids... Me: hangs up For the record, my kids don't talk in my backswing and know to be quiet when others are hitting. They're well behaved. I would never take my kids to a nice course until they're old enough. They've only been to Washington golf, mastick woods, and springvale. My kids had so much fun at Topgolf yesterday. They asked me if we could go to a real course today. There's nothing better than kids getting excited about golf. This was a very disappointing start to spring break.
