The owner took great strides to keep everyone safe. Some discoloring on the cart seats do not make them dirty. If you remember right, the cart corral is under a very large oak tree and leaves were falling rapidly. I'm glad you had a good time and do hope you come back. We are a one owner, family run business and I guarantee you that you were treated with respect and the best smile we can give. We appreciate everyone of our customers equally. We were, because of Covid, we're extremely busy. We hired more starters so we could handle the increased column and increased work in sanitizing the carts.

First time playing Carlisle, played the 'Blue' course. Although short in length, just under 2,800…read moreyards for the white tees, it can be a challenging course. I love that it has many mounds mostly on the sides in the rough area. This keeps it from being a totally flat course and can help a wayward ball kick back near the fairway. Greens were in great condition (very few ball marks) and what I consider fast, although cut a little short so several did have some dried out areas on the edges, not uncommon though for this time of year. Signage at each hole is well done. No sand traps, let's face it what weekend golfer enjoys sand traps. Separate women/senior tee boxes with nice distancing from the white tees. Weekday and weekend pricing is among the lowest you will find. Reason for that may be due to what I list below. Now for the bad: Cash only, no credit cards, there is an ATM. The carts are not good. Looking inside numerous carts they are filthy, mold on the bodies of most, leaves all over, and dirty. I can almost guarantee they are not sanitized carts during this Covid crisis. If you're playing the Blue course it is a long hike to the 1st hole if you're walking. The men's (white tee) 9th hole is 372 yards and listed as a par 5, a straight away 372 yard hole. This length for a straight hole is not a par 5. Tee boxes are mostly weeds, as are the fairways. You will get no 'fluff' lie on the fairways as you would on most courses that actually have grass on the fairways since the weeds here are ground hugging, it's like hitting off dirt. The greens are small and all are the same shape- turtle shell/domed, no imagination was put into making some distinctive greens. Cart paths end at the 3rd hole. I'm surprised there weren't more cart ruts, especially near the tees. Along the right side of the first hole is a long stretch of cut tree limbs and trunks stacked for around 40 yards and looks like they've been there for years. Along the side near the 2nd green is an old fire truck which when you get closer is in bad shape, a rusting white van (open window) and what appears to be a non functional utility company type truck. Now maybe the worst: Between the 1st and 2nd hole is a host of discarded junk, a graveyard of old cart parts and everything but the kitchen sink (although it may be in there). I really thought for awhile I was in a salvage yard, it really had me wondering if the owners really have any pride. With some cleanup and investment this could be a really nice place. Maybe the other 18 holes are in better shape, someday I will check it out. I'll likely return and try to ignore the bad vistas and other drawbacks.

The Buffalo Chicken Dip was by far the best item! Second was the veggie and dip platter and the tater tots. The chicken bites did seem to be real chicken that shreds and wasn't formed. The other items, I would not order again - either flavor profiles were off or they lacked flavor. The pepperoni was cup pepperoni (yum!) , however the sauce on the pizza was very sweet.

There are heaters above head to keep you warm that you can also control. The golf clubs are provided and there is an array to choose from. There are tables and couches on each floor. The games themselves are super immersive and can be fun and competitive. We decided to order food, but everything came out super cold. We were there at 10pm and there was a 1.5 hour wait, so we just weren't expecting that. Other than that, 8/10 experience!

Yes, the current club house is a trailer with a sail covering the deck. Yes, the course has 12 holes. But the owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The greens were in very good shape. Tees and fairways were decent but needing a little water. In the end, we had a GREAT time playing this 12 hole course on a sunny and dry day in October. Also, I (and the others) look forward to our outing here next year!

I have never been to a course that's more mismanaged from top to bottom than this one. Is it cheap golf, hell yes. Do you get what you pay for? Most definitely Four of us arrive there on a Sunday afternoon walked into the bar, which is also the "pro shop". It's a weird and awkward course having 12 holes. So you can play nine, or you can play 18, repeating six holes. Who does that? I asked the person at the bar if we could play nine holes with a cart and she seem flustered. "Well I have carts, but I don't have keys for them. I have no idea where the keys are." OK, so I guess we're walking. The problem is some of us had cart bags. Likely they had some pull carts there that we could throw our bags on. Then she found a key. One key. Throw about five carts sitting outside. So we had one cart for four golfers and one pole cart. Three bags on the cart two golfers in the cart to others walking. It was a yard sale. You're lucky on the holes if there's any kind of a marker other than a hole number to tell you what the layout of the hole is. And if you look at the scorecard, what a joke. Somebody hand drew a map of the course complete with their own handwriting. I've never seen anything so amateur in a golf course in my life and I've golfed a lot. The course is dry and clearly they don't have the resources to keep it up. So, buyer beware: don't expect much if you have to go out on this course. If it's a choice between no golf and golfing here, then yeah, I get it. That's why I give it two stars. It's golf, but only at the most basic level.

The greens are smooth, true, and fast. I highly recommend this course for players of all skill levels. The guy helping us out was lovely. He alleviated my friend's concern of thr axe bouncing amd injuring her. He was also very knowledgeable about fixing our form so we could hit the targets. He was also happy to take photos for us so we could both be in them. After the instruction he ran us through some games. Over all we have a fantastic time. $25 for an hour is really not bad. I think this is something that would be great to do during the colder months when the weather can get terrible. Would definitely recommend!
