During the past year he has taken on outside responsibilities and is only available Monday thru Wednesday. Trying to see him for a sick visit is always met with going upstairs to the walk-in clinic. I am a 72 year old man that has been hospitalized twice with pneumonia in the last year. His office will not see me for a sick visit for chest congestion and repeatedly instructs me to go to a walk-in clinic.

Found a new doctor and within 2 visits was sent to specialist who determined I had POTS Syndrome. Anxiety was not the cause of anxiety rather a symptom of something bigger. I also found out I had a pancreas that's wasn't producing enough enzymes. On top of that I had deficiencies in Vitamin C, folic acid, zinc and more. All dismissed because she wanted to chalk it up to anxiety. I was begging for help for 6 months, trying to tell her something was wrong. All I wanted was to know what was wrong with me, instead all I got was gaslighting that caused much stress! Now I have a new doctor and great POTS doctor from MUSC. I hope she doesn't treat her other patients like she did me. Their life may be depending on it.

I didn't have my portion (deductible) today and they would not bill me. That's fine, but she (Stephanie) was rude about it. There's no reason for that. If it was the policy, she would have never called billing and spoke about me in my face as though I wasn't there. But thankfully, I don't go low. I left without being seen but I also didn't reschedule because anywhere that doesn't care about me as a person can't care about my health. It doesn't matter to them, I'm sure, but they still lost a patient today. I've been going there since 2016! But today ended that "relationship." I'll find somewhere that still treats people like people.

They like to call you 1-2 hr before your appointment to cancel it, they are so dramatic and don't know how to keep their personal business at home instead of bringing it to work. Stephanie Gunn like to tell you about her husband cheating on her and his mistress keying up her car. So if you go to her, you better be careful because you may get attack by someone you don't know because of their personal drama in my opinion. Now the facts are I have been lied to several times and have the message to prove it and the intelligence level that the medical assistant Nicole has is not up to part for her job duties. Than she like to disrespect you by saying smart remarks and when you say something back it's a problem. The office manager there don't really care and they will lie to you to keep you from writing complaints. I have even have the NP I was seeing sent me to have the wrong thing done, for the people at Lexington to tell me thats what I don't need and I need this. This place is awful , unprofessional, and to much of drama. It is my best opinion to never recommend anyone to go there . Exactly, why I told my mom if she die or something bad happens because of them, I will not help her because she choose to stay knowing about all of this that I speak of . When you got messages and audio proof. There is nothing no one can say . So they won't load my photos but hey just go to google. Even employees agree . There are so many negative to review on them, it's not hard to find. He and Latrina provide a superb level of care regardless if being seen in the office or virtually. Even when contacting him through the portal, he responds promptly. Appointment sessions are educational and encouraging even when there is a concerning health issue. There is NEVER a sense of belittling or dismissiveness as experienced from other physicians. When you are a patient of Dr. Liu, you are heard, valued, and respected; therefore, he's highly recommended among my family members and friends. Would be inclined to follow him if he was to leave this practice because good help is hard to find.

I was taken back and put in a room where I sat until 4:27 PM when the doctor walked in. The wait time was only a little longer than I would've wanted it to be, but with new appointment it's to be expected. The staff was super nice and efficient and, I appreciate that. I was able to leave knowing what the plan was for my health and how to take care of myself. I was listen to which is huge. I left there around 5:43 PM. Word to the wise, it is urgent care but you should still book an appointment. There was only one doctor working so that made my weight longer
