I enjoyed the few horrible,,but honest ratings of Runamuck Campground..I was a summer resident…read morethere for many years before selling in 2011..The previous owners were lovely people but after their deaths it was apparently passed on to their son...I heard rumors about previous drug use and drinking,, so the one post did not surprise me.. When I get up that way ,usually in the summer months. I make it a point to pass through the old campground, just for curiosity and memories ,, the last time I did I was in shock..It looked like a bombed went off..It was totally run down and looked like a junk yard..

My family and I have been camping here for four years. Every trip we brought our two senior dogs…read more One is a 13 year old border collie. Super friendly and has never shown aggression in his life. Well all the sudden on our last visit it was decided he needed to be weighed. Well he came in at 45 or so pounds which is clearly over the parks 35 pound weight limit. This is outrageous as many small dogs can be aggressive. Aggression doesn't have a weight limit. According to these narrow minded owners, dogs at 35 pounds or under are safe and welcome. Get real. We will never camp here again. Even after our border collie eventually passes. Sad!!!!
