We learned so much inclusive of knife sharpening techniques to how to properly cut fruits and vegetables, putting together seasoning, tips and tricks, and some facts about food. Everything was just SO, SO good. So flavorful. Cooked just perfectly. And there was plenty of food for all of the guests. Mok Gai (Steamed Chicken and Herbs in Banana Leaves) with Cabbage- 5/5 All of the flavors worked perfectly with each other and I paired it with homemade sticky rice to make it an even more authentic meal. It was well packaged with insulation and freezer pack. My food was still frozen. I also sent some to friends in the Boston area and their box arrived perfect to. It's really nice. All the entres are individually packed and LABELED in Laos and English. There is a QR code to link to the heating instructions. For the monthly special (Deep Fried Fish in a tomato sauce) they provide written instruction instructions. I signed up for the monthly subscription which include 3 meals which you can select yourself or let them choose. It's been a while so I picked my favorites- the sweet jerky meal, the pork noodles and the monthly special. As always it is fabulous. More to good news is that there are a number of lower carb options. You can get the jerky and spicy sausages without rice. Or the protein (chicken or fish ) steamed in banana leaves. Or the classic minced chicken salad. Or the spicy red curry. I was told that they specifically selected items that would travel and freeze well. They hit the mark.
