My burger was JOYOUS. As a gluten-free person, these house-made buns are incredible. I always get the Curve Ball with their fries, which are seasoned incredibly. Soft, crispy, flavorful, divine. What a gem I found while traveling through Georgia. Waitstaff was amazing and suggested daily special "burger wrap" and it was fantastic! Also some good beers to choose from. Very busy place, especially early dinner time on a Thursday! I was able to sit at a hightop on the bar side, which was perfect. Met some friends here about a month ago and damn, was the food amazing! Rustic setting with big booths. We all got a different burger and they were all spectacular. The onion straws were some of the best I have ever had. The fried okra (whole) was spectacular, considering I don't particularly care for okra. Burgers cooked to perfection. The patrons before me gave it glowing reviews and recommendations, so I thought I'd eat locally before driving back home to Alabama. Tommy greeted me warmly and seated me in a booth. April is my server. After much study and research and questioning to ensure I would have a safe and savory dining experience, I decided on the Mock-A-Rita mocktail (it IS 100% gluten-free, y'all)... the first sip literally sent me to Yelp to start writing this review. It is THAT amazing!! With April's patience and guidance, I ordered a basic "textbook" turkey burger with goat cheese on a gluten-free bun accompanied by a baked sweet potato with butter and cinnamon sugar. As I sip on this incredible mocktail, I am imagining how delicious the meal will be... wait for it... ...that didn't take long at all!! Everything looks savory! ...I'm going in!! Yup. Delicious. Good call. The turkey burger is cooked to perfection as was the baked sweet potato. And while they gave me a gracious plenty of cinnamon sugar mix, I only needed less than half. I knew it was a good sign when I sat down at this booth and "Sara Smile" by Hall & Oats started playing in the background... ...I was listening to "Sara Smile" by Mr. David as I parked my car in front of the door (and street parking is free, y'all).
