Everything was amazing and I can't remember another time I've said this about any restaurant! This place has really evolved over the years. Everything is fresh and made to order by chefs that add some wonderful touches of their Middle Eastern cuisine to some entrees. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Don't forget the dessert, not the usual premade commercial desserts pulled out of the freezer. These are clearly and deliciously home made. To top it off, the staff is so wonderful and friendly, We'd come back just because of them. Finally, there is some wonderful art on the walls that was created by a former employee. We loved this quaint home town bar/restaurant. Our waitress Brittany was very attentive and kept my water glass full. After being on the road all day this was just what we needed. My husband ordered the burger with onion rings and I had the handheld Cuban sandwich. There is a large selection of fries that you can choose from. This appeared on one of my searches - it apparently replaced Big Joe's at some point in the recent past. As there aren't a lot of good Italian choices in the Peachtree City area, we opted to give it a try. The location is in a series of connected plazas a few miles east of Newnan on Hwy 34. They have their own parking lot, but you could easily park in adjoining lots also. We were seated promptly (I think I made a reservation, though I'm not sure how much that mattered). The description of the menu is Italian - Creole. I'd probably opt for slightliy more of the Italian and mabye scaling back the Creole. My wife opted for a fish dish. I go the jambalaya. Both of us enjoyed our food. We split a salad, which was fine. I think they included complimentary bread. We liked it, but I'm not sure we'll become regulars. read more

As I previously stated, I am in love with Big Joe's! As I was in the area and hungry I decided to stop in. It was a beautiful day outside making the patio seating a special draw. Upon entering I was greeted with a warm smile and inviting welcome. I had a party of 2 and was able to be seated immediately. #LuckyUs As we were looking over the menu, we heard a happy cheerful greeting. To our delight we happened to be seated in Destiny's area again. Yasssssssssss!!! This added even more excitement to the visit. Guaranteed Good Food and GREAT Service. This time I decided to go with the Wings for my appetizer and a Grilled Chicken Salad as my entree. The wings were super meaty and well seasoned. Though I like mine extra extra crispy, these were well cooked and not soggy. The barbecue sauce was amazingggggggg. I'm talking package it and send me home with two kinds of amazing. I was very pleased with this dish. The salad was the King of the visit. The fresh greens, warm well seasoned chicken, and homemade dressing was an absolute win. I had no idea a salad could be this good. Furthermore, I don't even like olives but somehow in this salad they were a delight. Though the salad was amazing in its entirety, the dressing was the hidden gem of the dish. This dressing paired well with everything on the plate to the point of hunger satisfying bliss. I have tried this restaurant on two different occasions and I must say... it is absolutely delicious. The service is also top tier. Our server's name was Destiny (Desi) both times we visited and she adds to the overall warmth of the restaurant. It gives you a laid back environment. The patio is my favorite place to eat. I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and it was amazing!!!! I also tried the lemon pepper wings. I swear to y'all the food was sooooo goodt. Oh and let's not talk about the bananalope drink. Absolute gem in Newnan. The name makes you believe it's more of a bar type establishment with sports on and a couple of beers, burgers and wings on order. What you actually get is a fine dining experience with amazing service and fantastic food. The restaurant inside will give you the same type of upscale dining that you'd see in Buckhead/Roswell/etc but you can also dine at the bar or on the patio. We started off with stuffed mushrooms as the appetizer (amazing) then for our entree we had the crab cakes and shrimp Alfredo (we asked for chicken to be included in the pasta as well for an upcharge but it was worth it). The food was extremely good and very tasty. The chef also stopped by our table a few times to inquire how everything was which was pretty cool. Our waitress Chloe who was very attentive and personable suggested a new pistachio Cannoli dessert which was a great way to end our meal. We will be back for more. read more

Went to Joes for a work/client lunch as it's probably one of the better restaurants in the area. It was pretty good! We sat outside on Halloween day and the weather was perfect for it. Ordered one of their signature dishes, the Greek salad and added chicken for about $18. It was pretty good. The dressing wasn't too overpowering and I liked that. I came here for the first time today as it was recommended to me on Yelp. I had a great experience! I got the Caesar salad with grilled chicken as my meal, and it was a 10/10. Perfect amount of dressing, the lettuce was crisp, and the chicken was fresh and grilled to perfection. My husband got the fried catfish plate, and he said he absolutely loved it! We've tried a few different seafood restaurants around Newnan, and none of them have been impressive. So glad we found this place! The restaurant itself has both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to eat inside since it was hot outside. Inside it was quiet with nice background music, and they had a pretty wine display. We had previously eaten here when it was Big Joe's and had good experiences. I made a reservation using their online reservation system for two people at 6:00 on Friday night. When we got there we were greeted by the hostess who attempted to seat us right at the front door. I asked if we could be seated elsewhere as the restaurant was empty. This clearly did not sit well with her. She said,"Well, where would you like to sit? She pointed to a table and said that was requested specifically so we could not have that table. She have us a choice of two tables near the restroom. I did not see what the big deal was as the place was still very empty, but apparently it was. She stated that we should have called her with a special request for seating. We were seated and waited about ten minutes before our server appeared. He didn't tell us about the specials until we asked and never brought us any bread. When the food came we ahead for bread and he apologized for not bringing it sooner. The food was excellent and the dessert was even better. The cappuccino was served nice and hot in a big cup. I just can't get past the hostess. First impressions are lasting ones. We will probably be back but it will be awhile. read more

We have been going to this restaurant which was called Big Joe's for years now. We loved the ambience, the music and the food. The selections pre covid were even better!! They have now changed their name and their menu. Italian Creole? No lasagna or meatballs. Mostly pasta dishes that are astromical prices. Alot of fried food, very little seafood at all. They are trying to be upscale but the only thing upscale was the prices. We spent well over $150!. The couple before us spent well over $78.00! Sadly they made a big mistake tryiing to copy Beirut in PTC. I WILL say the service was great. God bless those who have to explain why you are paying $70.00 for pasta. This will not go over well in Newnan. Sad to say...no more for us. Our back porch is just as cozy and both of us are great cooks. Nothing like home cooking. Very sad. Good bye Big Joe. RIP read more

We visited during a dining lull, so pretty much had the place to ourselves, except for regulars at the bar (or owners?). Once we ordered, our food was served very fast. Hubs and I ordered the spinach dip and split a pulled pork sandwich. The dip was okay, not alot of flavor and the cheese wasn't melted on top. I probably wouldn't recommend it. The pulled pork was really good, and filling for us to split. It was served with a jalapeno cole slaw, which added a nice kick as a side. Overall, not bad. read more

I had never been to Big Joes, but a friend mentioned meeting me for dinner here. I checked the menu, and it had foods that you don't see in many restaurants. The food was excellent. The calamari was the best I've ever had. The sauce that comes with it is slightly tangy, but tastes great with it. I forgot to take a photo of my meal, but I got the salmon with a lemon butter sauce, mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. Everything was hot and tasted wonderful. Crème brûlée is one of my favorite desserts, but it is rare to see it on a menu. It was also wonderful. I will definitely be eating here again. read more

I had an excellent cocktail. My my expectations were exceeded quality of the drink. It was very tasty and served with a flourish by our wonderful waitress/bartender. Yes she was firing on all cylinders! She did everything and she did it well. I had a chicken Shawarma, my brother-in-law had shrimp and grits, my sister had tacos... Everything was just delicious. Just plain all good. I so despise chain restaurants! What a treat to go to a local place with such a varied menu with great prices and high-quality food. I can't wait to go back. I really, really wanted to rate higher, however the meal I tasted the other night was so bland. I'm in the South, I'm expecting high flavored, knock me in face, punch me in the mouth flavored food and this was just so not it. I ordered the salmon with a side of mashed potatoes and mixed veggies, the mashed potatoes tasted as though it was instant potatoes and the chilean Salmon, no matter how much lemon I squeezed on it, this to was bland. I even ordered the spinach Artichoke and Dip, It was like they mixed the spinach and cheese and said hold off on the flavor, bland too. Applebees has better spinach and artichoke dip . I paid around $40.00 expecting a great meal, it just put something in my stomach. I'll try again maybe one of their popular dishes and see how that goes. read more

Ate here for my birthday lunch, I took the day off to shop and eat with my hubby on 2/25/19. Checked reviews first. Hubs ordered fish and chips off the lunch menu. The fries were the best part of his meal! The fish was hot and fresh but lacked flavor and the batter was too thick in my opinion. I ordered the chicken shawarma- not on the lunch menu. It was delicious! I mean, so good I was a little upset I didn't get more MEAT for the cost of the meal which I felt was a little too pricey. Also, I ran out of the pita and ordered more to go, for later for .60 cents up charge. Ordered the Cuban sandwich to go. It was fine.... not amazing at all though. Waitress was great and took pictures of hubby and I-- a lot of pictures because we had to get it right lol. Overall I'll be back, but only for the kind waitress and the shawarma! read more
