Down a little alley, worth it!
It's all right there in the name... Meat and liquor.
The atmosphere... Hip and dark. Lots of details put into the vibe here. The kitchen is an awesome graffitied up train car. The staff are dressed pretty rocker or edgy goth. The music was an array of rock music.
The menu... A mix of sandwiches, hot dogs, fries etc... That also have vegan options.
The food... good! My daughter and husband said her kids cheese burger had a great flavor. I LOVED the fried mac and cheese. Never had a mozzarella stick like Mac and cheese before! And dipping it into the blue cheese... Yes!! My husband called the siracha fries addictive.
The drinks... Alcoholic shakes- sign me up! I had the Soulero. Really liked the mango flavor. My daughter had a creme soda float. She sucked it up! My husband tried two new beers but wished they had a better beer list. Kinda weird we come from America and find Brooklyn beer.
Overall we liked this place. read more
