If you want my opinion, Player 1 Video Game Bar, in Orlando, is fantastic. It's the quintessential…read moreretro-arcade bar. It's dark, cool, and the themed decor fits the place perfectly. For example, the top of the bar is actually a time line of the history of video games...something to take in while you're throwing back a few adult beverages. Assuming that you're looking to drink a bit, they have an outstanding collection of craft beer, and of course, they have the obligatory "80s themed" cocktails. I haven't quite figured out the food menu. But hey, P1VGB is not really, I don't think, that kind of place. GAMES? They have an excellent selection of old school vids. And whatever the game count, it goes up by 60 because they have at least 1 multigame rig (packaged in a Ms. Pac-Man cabinet). This combo brings you most, if not all, of the blockbuster titles from the 80s. They also have several rare machines. Last but not least, they THE SINGLE ALL TIME GREATEST COIN-OP SPORTS GAME! ATARI FOOTBALL!! Yeah, it's that much fun...I still have callouses and blisters from rolling that big ass track ball back in 1979! Pinball? Well, this is not a pinball palace, but, they do have about 8 to 10 tables. Great titles including Twilight Zone, Haunted House, and Jaws. In addition to the coin-op games that us Gen-Xers grew up with, they have multiple videogame consoles available. For a bar that offers this many games set on free play, admission is very inexpensive. I'd say that at any given time, 5 to 10 percent of the games are down. Not too bad. Located just up the street from Sofrito Latin Cafe, this place is well worth a few hours of time time. 5 stars!

Player one is a video game bar if I didn't mention that earlier normally this bar gets very busy later in the evening however it's not late in the evening so it's not that busy right now. This location is a 21 and up location all the games Inside where the bar is are included in your five dollar price point. They do offer discounts if you work at Disney or Universal, etc., they have some snacks as well as the Chinese food next-door to eat as well. Tonight I decided to have the cider boys caramel apple for seven dollars. It is probably one of my favorite sliders that they currently have and I also tasted the 1911 sugarplum cider. I did not like it though.

We love that we can watch a game on the big TVs. Prizes are usually pretty good but require too many tickets in our estimation. Their food is pretty decent. There is always been lots of available parking, I've never had any trouble finding a spot even though I drive is so busy. The bad: someone ate half of our chocolate cake which we took to go. There was an entire investigation at the restaurant as to what happened and I still have no idea what the outcome is. The fact is half the cake was gone when we got at home. The crowds can be a little difficult to deal with. There's a lot of people in there just walking around also and not playing any games. Some of their recent remodels have removed large sections of games in favor of large interactive group style games. We aren't interested in those at all and preferred to have more arcade style games on the floor.

Here's a more polished, credible, and impactful version:…read more This was, unfortunately, the worst experience I've had at any Dave & Buster's location. The issue wasn't simply that my meal was prepared incorrectly--it was how management handled the situation. I ordered salmon that arrived significantly undercooked. When I sent it back, our server handled the situation professionally and was both courteous and apologetic. However, from our table I observed the manager, Dalton, visibly berating the server while pointing toward us instead of focusing on resolving the issue. No employee should be treated that way for bringing a customer concern to management. When my mother spoke with him directly, rather than acknowledging the problem, he insisted the salmon was properly cooked and suggested the issue was that we hadn't specified how it should be prepared. Salmon should be cooked to a safe temperature unless a guest specifically requests otherwise, and the photos speak for themselves. What should have been a simple correction became an unnecessary argument. Good managers de-escalate situations, support their staff, and prioritize guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. To make matters worse, we never received the Power Card promotion that was supposed to come with the meal. The one bright spot was our waitress, who remained friendly, professional, and genuinely tried to make things right despite the circumstances. She deserved far better support from management than what we witnessed. A restaurant can recover from a kitchen mistake. It's much harder to recover from poor leadership and a refusal to take accountability. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location.

When booking the Pancakes & Play package, I ran into unexpected challenges trying to arrange seating for the accompanying parents. What I thought would be a simple request required several conversations before a solution was found. As a parent of a 5-year-old, being able to sit close enough to supervise the children is important, so I was disappointed that this wasn't easier to accommodate initially. I shared my concerns with Main Event's President, Tony Wehner, who personally responded and committed to working with his team to find a solution. Todd Gurney, the General Manager, then reached out to better understand what I was hoping for and made sure everything was in place before the party. When we arrived, the seating was exactly as discussed. Two tables were reserved near Party Street, allowing the parents to comfortably supervise the kids while still enjoying the celebration. It made all the difference. I also want to give a huge thank you to Adrienna and Zarianna. They were absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, organized, attentive, and genuinely excited to help make the party special. They stayed on top of every detail, and because of them, we were able to relax and enjoy celebrating with our daughter. What impressed me most was not that everything was perfect from the beginning, but that Main Event listened to customer feedback and followed through. It's refreshing to see leadership and the local team work together to make things right. Thank you to Tony, Todd, Adrienna, Zarianna, and the entire team for making our daughter's birthday such a wonderful memory. We wouldn't hesitate to celebrate another birthday at Main Event!

I have three boys so of course nothing is going to be cheap. For two activities it cost $128 dollars. They were busy so for instance the rope course we had to wait for several times. The mini golf is glow in the dark but not a large scale just a miniature option. There was a cord in the middle of one of the holes which is a hazard if someone tripped over it. They have several activities to choose from being ropes course, rock climbing, bowling, arcade, laser tag, axe throwing. You do get some arcade credits but they're kind of a waste counting on each kid got 60 credits and one game was 30 credits.
