After about an hour drive to get there, I will say it was very nice inside and it was very cool given the summer heat. We ended up attending for my wife's birthday and we took some Polaroid pictures throughout the experience and I accidentally forgot them throughout the course leaving them to develop. Telling the team at the front afterwards after I was unable to find them, they went through with a flashlight searching and was able to locate all of them. Went on a Sunday evening and honestly wasn't expecting the experience; we had so much fun! If you're familiar with the International Drive area, it's located in Dezerland Park towards the back by the movie theater. You can find a groupon for this place or make a reservation online; highly suggested for stormy days as it does get pretty busy. We were a bit worried about the booking because it shares the space with a small arcade but once we started playing it was awesome to our surprise! Located inside the mall right next to the movie theater this golf course offers arcade games at the front entrance if there is a line to wait. They also have limited drinks in the front. Groups of up to four golf together in an 18 hole creative course. Wear colors that will glow in the dark for extra fun as the entire course uses black light effects. There are about 18 holes, they do let people in a little too quickly tho so you're playing right after someone and if you finish faster you're waiting for a solid amount for the other person or someone's waiting for you so it's a little awkward. My favorite part was that they have little mini challengers. They give piece of paper where you different holes have different challenges. For examples, on one of the holes you use your feet not the put, on the other you bowl it with your hands. It's fun and makes it more interesting. We've been to the Putting Edge a bunch of times and it's always a pretty fun experience. First of all, it's completely UV lit, but the course itself is pretty well done and the decorations are dope. Everywhere you look, there's something to see and the artist(s) who completed the work must've had a great time tripping the place out because the detail is in abundance. I believe there's like 20 holes in total and some of them are a bit trickier than you'd think so it proves a nice little challenge as well. The concept of Andretti racing is really fun, as is the track itself. However, when we went, almost all of the arcade games were offline, even after they let us put money on the arcade cards. I don't think anyone in my party found a single game that wasn't offline. Some worked and others didn't but you couldn't earn points. Additionally, the employees running the race track and laser tag could not be a more miserable bunch of young people. They were all inconvenienced by having to answer any questions, didn't smile and weren't enthusiastic about anything. I actually couldn't stand some of them. This putt putt experience was novel, but I would not recommend it to others. It is a white light dark room with a vivid flower power theme and neon golf balls. The course is semi-interesting, nothing to get too excited about, and there's not a lot of room to get out of the way of the other putters. The idea is to do something different on each hole based on the scoring sheet, eg putt with one hand). Our group attempted this, but when other groups don't, it's a backlog. You can request music, which is good, since you'll be standing around a lot just twisting between holes in a big room. It was kind of exciting to move from the front room to the back room. It was clean. The AC was blasting. I imagine it's the perfect antidote for hot FL sun and humidity, but we weren't craving that and the experience was just boring and SOOOOO $$$. It is in a very weird warehouse type place with all these other game type venues (a classic pinball place was next door) and it was empty and creepy. You have to walk through the warehouse to the bathroom. The website is terrible and the place didn't open when it said it would. A security/custodian person told us it opens at noon when the website says 11 (and does not explain this warehouse business). We arrived we 11:45 and waited, but another family was already there (with toddlers!!!) and they'd reserved online and paid for an 11:15am tee time. What a joke! The sole person working there could not have hated the job more. It was a creepy experience I'll probably never forget. read more

Pretty good course in the Dezerland complex. As you can see, it's indoors and glow in the dark. The theming is really spot on. The course is well maintained throughout. No rough patches or broken scenery. There are no moving obstacles. This is mainly either a narrow straight shot course with obstacles on either side, or ones that you have to bank off of parts to get the ball to go right or left towards the hole. No multi-level holes either. But it's pretty fun. Definitely give it a go if you are spending some time at Dezerland. read more

The reservation seems pointless as when you get there you're sat to the side and told to wait to be called. That took about another 10-12 minutes, which wasn't bad. The course is fairly easy, and most holes are short. So this would probably be great for little ones, as the difficulty is minimal. That doesn't take away from the enjoyment of it. I almost aced like 6 holes, but it made it really fun. The only real complaint is the amount of people allowed to be playing at a time on the course. I had a great time playing glow in the dark golf at Putting Edge. I planned a get together for a party of 4 on a Saturday so made reservations ahead of time online. The online reservation process was quick and easy. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by personnel. The employee quickly confirmed our reservation, gave us a quick run down, let us select our golf balls and clubs and even took a few pictures of us before we got started. It was pretty neat to be able to experience golf in a glow in the dark setting. It made the experience so much more fun. It was also a plus to be indoors out of Florida heat and summer rain. My partner and I like to play mini golf so we thought we'd try this place out. It's really small and feels dated. None of the holes had any fun gimmicks. They give you a sheet at the beginning about which holes you should use your hand as the putter or put upside down etc but it didn't really make anything more fun. It cost $12.50 a person, and you when you pick a golf ball of any color, you get a corresponding glow stick wristband to match. Each hole gives a challenge and, just a heads up, there are some hills that are hard to see due to the darkness, and black light. This place has awesome artwork, and is a great date night event. This is also a great business for groups! There is also a small gaming section and seating for birthday events. I would definitely come again with a bigger group.
