My husband and I had to swear off arcades for our girls because they're all cash-grab, ticket-spewing, crane-machine-infested, soulless voids. We'd walk into "arcades" with our well-behaved rational children and walk out with overstimulated, enraged, tiny tyrants. Arcade Monsters is different. Arcade Monsters is what we millennials (and older generations) grew up with, but that doesn't mean it's outdated. You want to play Mario Kart World on Switch 2? They've got it. But they've also got DDR, Guitar Hero, every kind of pinball you could possibly want, air hockey, House of the Dead, basketball, ski-ball, Luigi's Mansion, Tetris, bowling, Bop It, Galaga... and it's all-you-can-play for $25. No more buying cards with X number of points, and each game costs 6-12 points per play. You truly can't beat this deal. Nor can you beat the ambience, the decor, the food, and the customer service from the awesome employees. It's like someone who actually loves games and arcades as they're supposed to be built this place and found people to work here who actually want people coming in to have a good time. So I was mainly interested in their Rythm Games. I like that they have beer and a good selection of games. A few suggestions for Jubeat, I think the drink holders should be on the side; mounting in the front makes it lean forward and get in the way. Also need to install headphone jack. Whole place is very noisy. Left machine compensated with high volume, but kinda hurt my ears. Right machine is barely audible. Left machine buttons seem well maintained and very responsive, right machine needs some buttons replaced. I was also sad to see that the In The Grove machine was out of order. I was pretty excited to see a piece of history. But impressive list of dancing games, including a beautiful step mania x machine. Overall I might try one of the other locations to compare. I appreciate what they're trying to go for, and its refreshing to not see just another D&B clone. read more

Arcade Monsters is the best arcade in the state, and this location is the best Arcade Monsters of them all. There is so much space, even at the height of the crowd, you can find a fun game to play. You can break down your day into categories of games. We had a pinball segment, a shooting one, sports, old school arcade, Mario Kart on the Switch 2 dart, it just went on forever. It could have kept going, but we had dinner reservations to keep. Ambiance is absolutely awesome. Brilliant, electric murals cover every single inch of space. There isn't any blankness on any wall, not even in the restroom. It's wild, and it's great. There's some food options, but it's like, dumb stuff for kids. Pizza, chicken tenders, etc. So if you want to spend a whole day here, get the pass that lets you leave and come back. Unless you're into frozen nuggets. The drink game is strong, though. They have a ton of mixers that are delicious on their own, and can be mixed with some booze, too, if you'd like. Overall, there is all positives here and no negatives. Also, every square foot of floor space is crammed with wonderful and fun arcade games that will keep you busy for hours. I decided to try out the arcade monsters on international Drive as a small birthday celebration with friends. They claim that this location is the largest- perhaps in square footage? They have really high ceilings and to me this made the building a little bit warmer than I would've liked. They have the high-movement/ dance/ rhythm games towards the back with lower ceilings, making it even warmer. We saw on their website there was an option to reserve a table. we thought this made a lot of sense just to make sure that our friends had a space to sit down. They only let you reserve for a few hours at a time for about $25. I think it makes a lot of sense if you are a larger group and you're planning on purchasing food at the venue. They did clarify that you were able to bring in a celebrate dessert- but no other outside food was allowed. They have a bunch of high tops scattered there are the building. Maybe it just happened to be the time that we were there, but I don't think that reserving a table for us was necessarily beneficial. Overall, everything was clean. Tables and stations had hand sanitizers that people could use. They have a large offering of drink drinks as well and almost every game has a place for where you can put your drink down safely. This is mostly a pinball review, that's what I came here to do. Found on pinball maps, perhaps I should have looked more closely about game conditions. Did read on Yelp that the machines were, lets say well used. There is one row with two sides of machines about 26 total. There was a technician working on Kong, several others had out of service signs. Jaws left flipper was broken. Other machines had minor glitches but very playable. John Wick, Bond, Foo Fighters were working well. I played a few more favorites so def got my monies worth at $25 plus tax and tip, yup there was a tip scren option on CC machine. No problem, throw the hostess a couple. They did have a lot of retro games Donky Kong, Frogger, Ms P , centipede. Those were fun, nostalgic and frustrating how hard they are now vs when you were a kid and could Rip Def had some fun , new & big video games /multi player racers in several varieties, many being played by a group. The punching bag was super popular, but right in the way of moving around. Same thing with the dart board. Restroom was clean Food & Drinks available. Pretty dark inside at least for the darker pinball games made it hard to see with old man eyes. The younger crowd was having a blast playing a wide variety of options. I tried the blue raspberry slushie with a double shot and it was sweet and strong. The All Hallows Treat imperial chocolate peanut butter stout was delicious! Even though the drinks were decently priced, I didn't like that there was a service charge of 2.2%. I don't recommend getting the jello shots since they were basically liquid and pre-packaged. There was pinball, skee-ball, racing games, Super Smash Bros, and many others games. They also had three pool tables and several air hockey tables. I was shocked walking into this arcade at how big it was because arcades are usually on the smaller side. The inside is so cool! It's dark, with neon graffiti and murals of characters creating a feeling that you are in a 80's yet modern arcade. There was a huge variety of games and even a back room with at least 10 music/dance specific games. They had Super Smash Bros, basketball, skeeball, vehicle motion games, an abundance of racing games, several pool tables, several air hockey tables, shooting games, vintage game machines and pinball machines. There was also a small claw machine room. This place is huge and has everything! After 2 hours, I still felt like I hadn't played everything. For drinks I had a Jell-O shot but it was pre-packaged, spilled a lot when opened, and not fully solid. The custom drink menu, however, is a great idea to allow people to try different drink combinations and they offer each flavor in a regular cocktail form or frozen form. They also give you the option to make your drink a single, double or triple for an added price. I had two frozen drinks. For both drinks I got doubles and it was worth it because they were both perfectly strong and not too expensive. They were slightly too sweet but still had good flavor and got the job done. Lastly, I love that this arcade was very LGBTQ+ friendly. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Honey and I decided to come here on our most recent date night (more like day date). It's located on I-Drive in a pretty busy area which made me worry about traffic and parking; but neither were bad. Traffic was pretty tamed although it's Christmas break and parking was ample in their designated customer only lot. We came on a Monday around 1:30 pm and it wasn't that busy. Entry is $25 for unlimited play with no re-entry and $35 if you wish to re-enter. I'm not sure what the cost is if you decided to not do unlimited play or if it's an option. There was a small service fee of 2.2% which a saw a few complaints about, but it wasn't that bad. There isn't much to say about the service...other than the young lady at the entrance we didn't see or interact with any of the employees. It's kinda a "you do your own thing" type of place. We checked out the food and drink menu but didn't try anything since we were having lunch after. The food tables were empty, no one was eating and the stoves/burner in the food area were off. There are quite a few games. They have arcade games, there's ping pong machines, 2 pool tables, air hokey, basketball, football, bowling game (I think that what it's called ) and a few Japanese games. We were planning to stay one hour but got caught up in the fun and ended up spending close to 3 hours. The only thing that could of made it better is more game options that would of allowed us to be more competitive. I love proving to Honey time and time again that I'm the "Champion" and that I did! When I arriving I thought this was a 21 plus location similar to another spot I've been , however is open to all ages. Is a very nice arcade with cool decoration and a nice bar. Do NOT throw a party at the I-Drive location. I'm disappointed by my recent experience at Arcade Monsters', I-Drive location. I spent just under $1,000 for the total. I was shocked when advised I had to pay a mandatory 18% gratuity on each admission. I understand there is a sentence when reserving the room that states all reservations are subject to an automatic 18% gratuity. However, that implies the room reservation is, not the admission of each patron. If I had my guests pay individually for their own admission, each guest's admission would have been without the 18% gratuity, as with all other patrons. To make matters worse, I had reserved the room which included karaoke, but when I arrived, I saw it was not in the room. I asked about it and I was told that the karaoke had been removed from the room without any prior notice or explanation. This significantly impacted my event's entertainment and overall experience. If I were aware that the karaoke would not be available I could have reserved a different room or venue. The room offering karaoke was advertised somewhere for me to have known that fact. For instance, the virtual tour which you can only view directly from their website. Additionally, I confirmed the food I was going to order in advance, to make sure the food would be available. When the food was ordered one of the main items was unavailable because they had run out - despite confirming that it would be available. All of the food purchased was charged the mandatory 18% gratuity. I agree with providing gratuity for good service but that just was not the case here. This experience added stress and chaos to my event. Given all the issues, and more that I accepted my own responsibility for, I reached out to the facility for them to rectify this. They greatly lacked any customer service as they rebutted each of my issues as my fault or simply refused to respond to them. So just beware. As other reviews have said "a fun place" but do NOT try to have an organized birthday party here. read more
