I brought my lower control arm bushings there for the front of the car suspension to get the old…read moreones pressed out and have the new ones pressed in. They charged me 145 for an hour of labor and proceeded to bend one of the metal parts that holds the bushing as well as plasma cut it. This is not acceptable since it supports the weight of the suspension components that hold the car up and even a minor alteration if not done properly can cause a deadly accident.

I come here all the time for car repairs because the Toyota dealership loves to over charge... The…read moreman that I always work with is Jeff, I believe that he runs the center, he's always kind and very informative about what's going on with your car. He gives you the hard truths and also gives you cheaper alternatives; but he's always honest about how long the cheaper alternatives will last and if they are even worth the hassle. I'm typically there without appointment and that's not a problem for them, I come around 6:30, they open at 7. He takes a look at the problem, tells you if he will need to order parts and how long the job could potentially take. I'm always out by around 1pm even when parts need to be ordered! The secretary woman who is always there is super sweet and usually has snacks, like homemade brownies, in the waiting area. She comes out with updates about your car occasionally if she feels you've been waiting too long. I started coming here because of my mother and she recommended myself and my Nana and we haven't gone anywhere else for years. They are great!

Best mechanic around. I've been coming here for years and trust them completely for all my repairs,…read morebig or small. They do quality work at a fair rate. They always give me a choice on parts of OEM or aftermarket. In some cases I purchase my own parts for them to install. They are always honest and professional and do the repair when and as promised. I…read moresuggest that if you intend on using them, get a repair estimate ahead of time and IN WRITING. I dropped my car there on a Friday afternoon and as of Monday a.m. at 11:00 I'd heard NOTHING of the specifics (parts and price $) of one of the repairs needed or intended. NO PHONE CALL was ever made to me, so I finally called them. My car was on the lift ready for a $450 repair which I knew NOTHING about ! Their communication skills both among themselves and with the CUSTOMER are totally lacking. After arguing my points above I paid a bill for $900.. PS - Don't waste your time arguing with them. The paying customer is never right. It's also YOUR job (the customer) to call THEM to get info on your repair. * Sprague Street Auto needs to work on their basic customer skills. Give the paying $$ customer a confirmation call BEFORE you start ANY work and maybe try LISTENING a little and showing some COURTESY when the $900 paying customer has an issue to bring up. This experience was bad from start to finish and the entire weekend lost in between.
