It was such an involved project with many stages and steps. Every single phase was handled with such care, precision, cleanliness, accuracy, thoughtfulness and excellence. I cannot say enough about how extraordinary Daniel and his team members are. A lot of companies talk about how they really care, and how they'll take good care of you and the project-- but it is usually far from the truth. Daniel was just incredible, the real deal. If you're lucky enough, hire him while you can. Elizabeth

Once I replaced the tankless water heater, I had to deal with the residual damage from the water. The insurance folks sent out a demo team to take all the damaged wall/ ceiling and mold out. The insurance gave my Contact info to a Renovation company they use and said that they would call me. After a couple of days, I did not hear anything so I researched and found these guys on Yelp. They came out the same day provided a quote and I feel that their prices were reasonable. The insurance had already paid me out for what they guesstimated the cost of repairing everything ( i didn't tell them how much I was paid out) and it was comparable to what they quoted me. Although they said if their quote was more, they had no problem going back to the insurance folks to deal with them in regards to more money to do the project. Thankfully, we didn't need to do that. However, I thought that was important to mention because I didn't realize that a lot of people do not want to deal with insurance companies. I was turned away a couple of times when I was trying to find somebody to Replace the water heater and I needed them To provide information to the insurance company. These guys came in and we're so quick and efficient. I had a partial ceiling missing in my living room and in my garage. The wall that separated my living room and garage were missing. They Did the sheet rock, installation, crown molding, painted, Mounted all my cabinets and hooked back up my washer and dryer and sink in a few days! I'm definitely recommending them to friends and family.

PG&E would come out and cut down dead trees, but just leave all the branches and logs... I tried for months to get them to remove them and constantly worried about fire hazards... I was so concerned about the cost to remove them along with being able to access them. I met with Drew and not only did he give me a good price, but he also repaired all the damaged asphalt and plumbing caused by multiple trees on the property. he completely restored our plumbing and water pressure and set us up with access to multiple outlets to ensure safety from any fire! He also got really creative and made several walkways with the pine trees that we would never have thought to do. I've truly never seen somebody so dedicated and persevere with such a difficult project and even helped to create a vision we did not have....

Hear me out on this but Drew caught me off-guard at first as he was and is one of the most down to earth people i've had the pleasure of meeting and working with. I must admit I was a little skeptical just because I come from a place where not everyone still treats others so well and everything is about the bottom line. Drew got me a timely quote; we negotiated a bit here and there on what work was to be done and agreed to proceed. Drew was good about communicating when he would start, stop, arrive, if i approved the work, he offered insight and advise you name it. I cannot recommend him enough and will recommend him to anyone in need of excavation work. The work was very solid Thx again Drew and Josh Paul

But Lassiter Excavation was so good that I couldn't continue to be lazy.  For context, I was replacing an old 35,000-gallon swimming pool with a skinnier lap pool. Lassiter started by completely removing the massive 1975 pool, including every scrap of concrete and piping.  Then they backfilled and compacted. Working to my soils engineer's specifications, they imported and compacted 18 truckloads of quarry fines in carefully controlled 8-inch lifts through the full 12-foot depth of the deep end, all the way to finished grade. They used multiple pieces of equipment, including jumping jacks, a Bobcat, and a vibratory sheepsfoot roller (which I had to look up), and they coordinated compaction testing throughout the process.  When they were done, it looked like a pool had never been there. The site was fully prepared for the new excavation, which Lassiter then completed flawlessly.  I measured their forms with a laser level and laser tape measure, and length, width, diagonals, position and elevations were all within 1/8 inch. That's impressive considering the new lap pool is nearly 60 feet long. When they were finished digging, the walls and floor were razor straight and right on their marks. The crews were outstanding -- friendly, hardworking, detail-oriented, and consistently professional. They maintained an exceptionally clean jobsite throughout the project and even helped me reclaim some old redwood decking.  Special thanks to Santana, Ricardo, Daniel, Jose and team for answering all my questions and caring so much about the end result. If you're considering any excavation work, I highly recommend reaching out to Lassiter Excavation and talking with Bob. They exceeded my expectations in every respect.

The morning HES and crew arrived, I had second thoughts on removing a certain area of my Satillo tiled deck and tiled patio. Haney was so understanding and explained that he'd start on the concrete and enclosure removal to give me time to see/decide when they get to the deck portion. This put me right at ease. When his crew arrived, they got right on task, like a systematic work plan. This was so reassuring for me (i've had my share of disappointments in the past from contractors.) HES crew delivered. "THANK YOU". They did such great work and sure know what they are doing. This crew worked so hard and worked practically nonstop in the HEAT. They had a positive vibe which was nice to see while doing such hard work. THE JOB / was to demolish a large patio with thick concrete patio, remove a partial patio enclosure and Saltillo tiles on a large upper deck area. They also had to saw off tiles for a sewer reroute to be accessed and coordinated this with the sewer contractor. They are truly 5 star fantastic team. Im happy i found HES.
