I also included the entire back fence replacement into the project, including a concrete border between the fence and lawn (~3ft) and had them fill in the space between the fence and grass/concrete surrounding my home with Sonoma gold rock. I also had drainage installed in four spots around my concrete pad and a new sprinkler system. There were a few misunderstandings with how/where the plants were to be planted but they fixed any issues that came up. It was the hottest month of the year when the project took off and they still completed it in a timely manner. Highly recommend and I will definitely use them again, if the price is right of course.

Kevin initially gave me a quote via text, but then came out and did a walk thru of the property with my husband and realized he'd underquoted us. We haggled back and forth for a bit, and finally came to an agreement to pay what sounded like a pretty resonable price for what needed to be done. He agreed to bring his crew out the following weekend to do the job. We were out of town, so I had to get updates from my neighbor about what was going on. It took two days, and on the second day I got a panicked email from the neighbor stating that KPS seemed to be having problems backing into our driveway and she thought they hit our metal fence? I never received any communication from KPS after we agreed to a price, so I figured my neighbor was just overreacting. Nope. She was right - they hit our fence. It was obvious that someone backed into it, bent it, and and then tried to straighten it out. So now our front fence is leaning. :( No one bothered to let us know. Additionally, we agreed to leave the cut grass rather than have them rake it, but we didn't say anything about letting them leave a trail of broken branches from the back yard through our driveway. And they left our wheelbarrow out in the driveway, in an area that is known for theives taking what they want if it's out in the open - that kind of sucked. So this review is just an "okay". The lawn is mowed, the junk is gone, and for that we are glad because it needed to be done and we didn't have the time to do it ourselves. It just seems like they kind of half-assed the job, and I'm pretty sure it's because 1) we weren't there while they where working, and 2) they quoted us the bare minimum charge to keep us from going elsewhere. My advice, if you're going to use KPS, is to let Kevin tell you what he thinks the job is worth and to also be onsite while the work is being done.
